All this is fairly immaterial as that ship has now sailed. What happens now? -
Panthers v Witches 5th September
Gr8scot replied to Badge's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
IMO, When 2 teams deserve a draw, like last night, then a draw it should be Only top heavy teams, their fans and casuals will enjoy superheats. I would’ve felt cheated if I was a Panthers fan last night -
Enjoyed our trip to Redcar again but making a habit of coming off second best. We blew the first leg with only a 4 point lead but once Super Sam blew his best engine while leading heat 5, we were in trouble. Way too many 0 scores and not even a ht 14 from Paco Superb from Josh as usual Congrats to Redcar and we’ll meet again next weekend

Championship League Riders' Championship at Poole
Gr8scot replied to cinderfella's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
What a guy, smiling Sam Masters. To be riding at all with all his injuries is a miracle but to crash in the final and get up and win it is exceptional. Huge well done lad Hard lines on Josh as there was only one line and Danny got there first Hope Ryan is ok and well done Danny King for getting that bike down -
Championship League Riders' Championship at Poole

Agreed, you have a point too but multi team events like this should be Weekend meetings to attract the biggest possible crowd and hence add to the atmosphere. The original Saturday was fine -
Championship League Riders' Championship at Poole

Certainly didn’t give any consideration to us Scots. I suppose it’s better than the Isle if Wight (Smiley face) but honestly, this year will be the first I’ve missed and I’m not best pleased -
Great idea, Yes please

I agree with the above. Gallant effort from the Skipper but heat 13 was far enough. I had newbe fans there last night and they are instant Josh fans. Superb night for Paco, we need his Dad to come every week. Best wishes to Kasper Andersen, hoping nothing too serious. He looked very uncomfortable climbing into the ambulance

It really was a pleasure having so many Plymouth fans around last night enjoying their speedway and still smiling at the end. Enjoy your night at Berwick and safe journey home -

Well done Glasgow, best team on the day, (wish we’d got Richard), some good racing. Young Tom & Basso excellent prospects -

Wee Joshie would’ve been 100% professional, he doesn’t do defeat well but let’s face it, it would’ve been the biggest Mickey take EVER -

What a bitter sweet meeting that was last night. I would rather lose the match than lose Sam. Get well wishes to Sam, Lasse and Craig for speedy recoveries. Horrible crash -

Leicester vs Edinburgh 16/07/22 CL
Gr8scot replied to IainB's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
One word - Weather. The track was very slick but the dust was plentiful. Heat 8 came after a scarce watering which IMO led to wet patches and to both falls (no-ones fault). James made, maybe, his best gate ever and must’ve been gutted when the red lights came on..... the re-run was as per usual in that the rider who didn’t gate first time was out the traps like a greyhound Loved my visit to Leicester again, lovely people -
Championship Pairs 2022

Will the tickets be on sale from Oxford Speedway or BSPA when they do finally make an appearance? I get they are hoping to increase capacity but can they not sell tickets up to current capacity with a contingency to sell more if possible? -
Is anyone on here at the meeting. Updates site doesn’t have a texter so any results would be much appreciated ok now

Sam has definitely withdrawn from this meeting and Richard Lawson will guest. It is Sams intention to have treatment this weekend and he isn’t looking to miss any more fixtures courtesy of Edinburgh site -

Gr8scot replied to gmuncie's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Heat 13 & also 15 were pure quality!!! To be fair tho’, the races Paco & Kye “failed” in, you have to give credit to the opposition. I was impressed with Leon Flint until he was swallowed up by the Dynamic Duo (no criticism intended) - Tidy rider. Nice to see Aaron back and on form. The Track was difficult for all due to the promised rain failing to show but hey, who can predict what the Armadale clouds are going to do -
I really sympathise with everyone connected to Newcastle Speedway. Sad news indeed
