  1. I actually thought we stood a chance until the news broke about Kye….. Get Well Soon lad OK, let’s get on with it and see how it goes
  2. https://gofund.me/1940d701 I hope the above link works. This go fund me has been set up for Thomas to assist his wife while he is hospital and during his recovery
  3. I did hear about his injuries, hence why I wanted to send my best wishes. Our sport can be dangerous and we shouldn’t lose sight of that
  4. I just want to wish Thomas Jorgensen all the best. Very nasty fall
  5. I can understand how you feel but rules are rules and under normal circumstances it is damn nigh impossible to do anything off 15m at Berwick. Really tough for young Leon but that’s speedway. Certainly shut Dick B up ✔️
  6. It was great to see Mickie bounce back from his bike fire and burned leg and Dayle following his disaster when his chain snapped, chewed up his bike and bit his leg. Also great to see the fans rally round on gofundme for them
  7. Great experience for all the lads today. I hope they all enjoyed their day, win or lose Congratulations to Connor
  8. Enjoyed my trip to Sunny Scunny as usual. Lovely friendly supporters TBH, I didn’t expect a win (but was ever hopeful). Some good racing and great job from Lasse to spare our blushes. Heat 3 stoppage was a joke, Zach only punished himself, no need to pull it back. Truth is tho’ the lad was on on fire and Ryan Douglas has a great future, I love his style on the bike. Solid scoring from Scorpions but we took too long to get going. Mons boys were all trying their hearts out but we will never win with all these 0’s and carrying passengers
  9. You can’t have the one good thing that’s happened to us this year
  10. I was like other Mons fans coming thro expecting another hiding. I was actually smiling when met with thunder & rain BUT…… what a speedway match. Best RACING I have seen in ages!!! it was scary, it was magnificent. Young Mr Basso and reliable Bomber were in superb form riding RIGHT on the edge. Million thanks to our old Champ winner Sedgy, excellent performance lad and I’m eager to watch Bastian progress, looks a great signing. Paco, Kye & Lasse all put in good improved shifts too Ht 13 should’ve been on TV - speedway from the top of the wardrobe, much too good for the top drawer. Disappointed not to take a point but I would’ve happily taken that score pre match
  11. Edinburgh 6 & 7 = 2 points Scunthorpe 6 & 7 = 15 + 5 Says it all really
  12. We had an excellent visit to Workington on Saturday (including John’s Plaice on the way home) and wish everyone the best of luck for its continued success. The setup is superb and will be the envy of many folks (especially us Edinburgh fans). The track held up so well especially given the heat. We expected a dust bowl but it was kept to a minimum. Plenty toilets & food outlets available and perfect viewing from above the track Looking forward to coming back
  13. Congratulations to Poole and commiserations to Leicester. I really feel for you guys not getting your home leg
  14. Every team wants Josh but IF we are running, I sincerely hope he stays. He is pure entertainment
  15. Whilst we have this thread going. Can I just say a huge Thank You to BSN for their coverage this year. Excellent job and much appreciated
  16. Good luck to Poole & Leicester, undeniably the best 2 teams are in the final Ditty - Over the border they made their way, looking for Scots teams to brighten their day The Scots teams responded but not very well, what happens next year you never can tell
  17. I bought a cable with HDMI connector at one end (tv) and double connector for electricity and attach to iPad or iPhone at the other end which allows me to watch on tv i found it by googling how do I connect my iPad to tv There are probably other methods but this works for me
  18. All of these are very painful injuries, especially the sternum. Poor Max, great guy..... best wishes from your Edinburgh fans Max, take care lad and don’t rush the healing process
  19. If memory serves me right, it was something to do with the farmers and the show ground
  20. He most certainly is, especially when you consider the injuries he has ridden through. He was obviously in a bit of pain tonight but he soldiered on when it was plain to see our team wasn’t up to the task Congratulations to Leicester
  21. I’ve been like a bear with a sore head all week because I couldn’t go but after last night I’m happy to be curled up with my iPad on BSN. Hoping for a good meeting but it’s Leicester’s to lose
  22. I’ve been a supporter long enough to expect the unexpected but last night caught me out. I totally expected a very tough contest but WOW....... tbh I don’t think we were “not up for it”, our team (apart from Sam & Josh) are unpredictable but we just met a superb team last night who were firing on all cylinders and we could make no impact. Huge well done to Leicester My biggest regret is that that could be my lasting memory of our league racing demise at Armadale, and that is so sad. I love that old stadium and I can’t believe our predicament Anyway, enjoy tonight Leicester and good luck to all in the Playoffs
