daz9100 replied to PowerfulPierre's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
O ye of little faith. Superb result from a patched up team. Well done boys -
"rule of 6 or 2 households" means 6 people from various households or more than 6 from 2 households only i.e. 8 or 10 etc - as per the govt guidelines

I have not found any regulations that state the rule of 6 for stadiums is any different. Please can you send me a link where it states that the 6 can only come from 2 households.
-
According to the Gov Website "group of up to 6 from any number of households" https://www.gov.uk/guidance/covid-19-coronavirus-restrictions-what-you-can-and-cannot-do#meeting-friends-and-family-indoors-rule-of-6

BCP Council own the stadium. The land was left to the council by Lady Wimborne for sports use only. It just can't be knocked down and built on. The earlier tweet relates to the greyhounds only not the speedway. The car park and children's nursery are still operating as normal.
-
They are taking bookings from July, so they must be still open. I know there are plans to redevelop the site but not sure planning has been granted yet. https://www.thistle.com/en/dorset/poole.html

It's going to be Leicester
-
I thought there was some sort of covenant on the land saying that it had be for sporting use.
-
Poole Greyhound Stadium closed until further notice, until public is allowed to attend So no different to the Speedway then
-
It's only ceased until they can reopen with a public crowd. - "Poole Greyhound Stadium closed until further notice, until public is allowed to attend" They can't run at Poole behind closed doors due to the financial loss involved.
-
It's been moved a week, new series now starts on 23rd March Channel 4 @ 4pm
-
At least the club will get some nice loan fees from Ipswich for Crump
-
I reckon it will be something like this to start with (but what do I know) 1. King 2. Zane 3. Worrall 4. Nielsen 5. Ellis 6. Josh 7. Cook
-
Nah, all the decorating should be finished by the time the season starts.

As has been said, he’s not building a hotel. And given that the renovations will be mainly complete by February I can’t see how that affects the finances of the club which doesn’t start until March/April. Also both are separate legal entities so one does not affect the other.
-
I heard it will be a 50% reduction.
-
I heard that we also made a loss the year before too. Hence why another year of losses would have seen us close down.
-
I dunno, I think a lot of fans would like Harris in the team. He definitely puts bums on seats and is good around Wimborne Road.

How do you work that out? The sponsors have surely paid up in advance (except the carpet cleaners!) -
