To be fair their ambition was huge. They wanted to bring in some big names to enable to compete but I guess that either they were too expensive or they didn’t want to do it or Poland wouldn’t let them. Poole didn’t want to use guest riders already riding for premiership clubs.

I believe that Poole are trying to use unattached riders for this.

When I checked the season doesn't start until April 18th so I guess there's still quite a bit of time still left to declare the starting 1-7.

But they've announced 7 riders which I believe would constitute a team.

But don't Oxford own their stadium, whereas Poole have to pay extortionate rent to a rogue landlord every time that they want to put a meeting on. If there was a justified business case to run an NDL team then I'm sure they would.

I’m afraid it is true. Poole were offered Tarasenko before he signed for Glasgow. Matt didn’t want to sack Kyle Newman in order to bring him in.

The team isn't finalised yet, as the average limit hasn't been fully agreed yet. Some teams are struggling and have been asking for an increase over the current 38. (unless things have changed this week)
