Its been a strange season at Berwick. For all that was said before about the previous promotion results were never like this!!! In addition we had a centre green announcer who you could make out as they never felt the need to yell into the microphone. The website is another area that leaves some questions as well along with lack of updates around riders who are injured and when we are likely to see them back. In this day of social media and instant access for update there is no excuse. Sadly there is a lot of unrest in the crowds which are also dipping greatly.

There's no denying that there has been some good racing this season however sadly there are some riders who just don't seem to be at the races.Last night Bridger was a disaster and I note the comments around Carr and his possible sore shoulder however his scoring all season has been very poor to non existent. The Gap has been outstanding and Doolan was really good last night. Unsure what the manager was thinking about last night with the joke fielding in heat 15 of a rider who hadn't won a race all night and certainly wasn't displaying the qualities of a number 1. Glasgow in fairness stuck with it and got the result they RACED for. Hopefully this will be the turning point for the Berwick team this season and some robust management will put changes in place as I have not heard so many critical comments in the stand for a large number of years around certain riders.

Hope tonight brings some good racing like last Saturday did. Some good battling last weekend with some of the riders looking well up for the challenge. Sadly Carr once more displayed what is fast becoming the norm for him, last to the tapes at the start of a race and last through them after 4 laps. Bridger and Claus look like they should hopefully lift a few points this season and Kevin again looking consistent with his riding.
