  1. Before doing the drugs test, the testers ask a series of questions about any recent injuries or medical problems, and whether the rider has taken any prescription drugs or painkillers, and when they last took any medication. So if it was something like that, Boxall would have declared it and then done the test. As he didn't, he clearly knew he'd taken something illegal which would show up.
  2. I'd have thought the decision to bring in Riss, who scored 6 tonight, instead of Etheridge who has barely scored 6 away all season, is a wise one
  3. Huge problem? With Boxall's average they can practically pick any guest on a horses for courses basis. Though Kent can't be punished for Boxall's criminal activities, they shouldn't profit from them either. Maybe R/R only would be fair.
  4. Yes, KL promoter Buster Chapman told BSPA chairman Buster Chapman about it last week and Buster Chapman agreed. Everyone else found out last night.
  5. Not a fine, but there's a big presentation made to Stoke every year they manage to complete their fixtures. Not sure what the presentation consists of because I haven't seen it, as I have only followed the sport since 1956
  6. Not the same problem at all. I think most people on here probably know why Chris Holder's visa application was rejected. Nothing to do with any lack of urgency, I think it was rejected quite quickly!
  7. That's disgraceful. How are pornographers like you expected to earn a living if people are getting it off twitter for free?
  8. Perks and Bowtell aren't guesting on Wednesday. They're in the Cradley 1-7. So both are perfectly legal. Perks didn't guest last Wednesday either. He was in the Plymouth 1-7 (so he would have been perfectly entitled to guest for someone this week). Bowtell guested last week for Plymouth, so he wouldn't have been eligible to guest for anyone at Birmingham this week.
  9. They're not doubling up in CL for Workington and Ipswich on Wednesday, so they have to use 1 x R/R and 1 x G on Wednesday. Some 1 that obviously doesn't know the rules for NL facilities: Rule 19.10 d) States that the facility for: Two Absent riders (2-5) 1 x RR and 1 x G (Team Manager's discretion) However in some case Rule 19.10 a) overrides this as it says the facility for: Any Absent Rider G (who must be in a NDL Line-Up) or RR. (If on Premiership or Championship Duty). So there you have it. Quite clear. Cradley must use 1 x RR and 1 x G under rule 19.10 d). The only way they could have had 2 guests would be if both riders were missing because of Premiership or Championship duty (which they're not). Hopefully Main Man Rogers is on top of this, or else more Brummie fans will be accusing him of incompetence and demanding his sacking.
  10. R/R for one and a guest for the other. Could have guests if they were riding for their Championship clubs, Workington and Ipswich, but they're not.
  11. Of course they want to ride, and what's more British Speedway needs them to be riding. What crazy comments from someone wanting to restrict the chances to develop young British talent.
  12. Can have a guest for a missing No.1 whatever the reason... but I don't think either of the missing riders are the No.1 are they? From No.2 - 5 it has to be R/R first and then a guest(s) if two or more are missing. (However you can have a guest if a missing 2-5 is missing because they have a clash of bookings in the Premiership or Championship).
  13. If 2 riders are missing in the 1-5 they are allowed R/R for one and a guest for the other. It's a ridiculous scenario though. The Cradley all stars should only be able to use replacements up to Kemp and Bickley's starting average within the 39 point limit. They shouldn't be able to use massively higher guests based on Kemp and Bickley's improved form for Mildenhall and Belle Vue. They should always have to have 7 riders up to 39 points.
  14. You might see something different in the next round on Saturday. I'm told there's a big turnout of riders, but also Belle Vue are putting on Sidecars, Flat-track, and Blast from the Past. Got to be 50+ races, all for a fiver adults, and kids go free.
  15. It's just whinging for the sake of whinging. Cardiff is a Saturday. Are kids really in school on Sunday? Do these people never let their kids out on a Saturday because they have school the following Monday?
  16. Much better to have Cardiff towards the end of the series, better still if it was the last GP and we get to see the world champion crowned. Also being in September means the British GP at Cardiff won't be too close to the June English GP at Belle Vue.
  17. You're making yourself look a fool. And what makes you think I don't know him? He's pretty well known in Speedway (and also well known in Rome where he goes every time Poole choke in the play-offs)
  18. So you were lying about being in the £19 seats? That's a photo from the home straight. The £19 seats were at the back of the top tier, 3rd and 4th bend. See here (bits coloured yellow on map). http://www.speedwaygp.com/event/2018-cardiff Or are you claiming you bought a £19 seat, but then went and sat in someone else's dearer seat?
  19. Wooosh again! OK, you mised the joke... but now you're in a hole, stop digging!
  20. Only two things we could really complain about tonight:- 1. There were no Samba Ants performing in the interval. 2. The referee was atrocious. He only had one moderately difficult decision to make all night (Doyle/Janowski), and yet he still got 5 decisions wrong. Even the smelly poor people, right at the top, at the back of the £19 paupers pit, could see that he got everything wrong.
  21. Think Rosco decided to go to Tommy Cooper's barber while he was in Wales.
  22. Wake up Pearson. Sayfutdinov is safe. Holder and Lingren are already out!
  23. Checking whether his fuel was on was the obvious first step. He checked, and it was. He said the bike didn't run well all race because it was an ignition problem..... To be honest I'd reckon the mechanical knowledge of a twice-world champion it a tad better than that of a pornographer. If it was anyone else opening their flaps on tv, I'd admit you may have the better knowledge.
