  1. Stars have cocked up their press release then. It's Kurtz, Grajczonek and Garrity as has already been said.
  2. Why? Bewley is head and shoulders above Lambert at the NSS Has to be Woffinden, Cook and Bewley if we're using our best riders
  3. Should have kept KK and got rid of Muddlo then. Arsene Wenger of speedway
  4. Presumably it's down to her to grab someone relevant to interview, and since she's never been to a speedway meeting before, she just grabbed any rider at random?
  5. Who is the idiot girl asking questions in the pits? She hasn't got a clue what's going on.
  6. You both seem a bit confused with your backwards and forwards messages. Just to clarify for you both, Poole's redeclaration is perfectly legal as the new declaration (with Worrall replacing Kildemand) is still well below the 42.5 points limit. If the total team average was above 42.5 they could still redeclare, but only if the incoming rider's average was lower than the outgoing rider's average.
  7. Holder's not been in any Poole 1-7. Worrall replaces Kildemand, who was in the initial declaration and has been ever since.
  8. They don't like it up 'em, Mr Mainwaring!
  9. If this was football, the manager would be long sacked by now. Got to wonder how Arsene Muddleditch is hanging on after overseeing another year of abject failure and another season over before June. Shovvy and Starman told us how Fat Maud had handed Muddlo a team full of ringers who would probably win the league without dropping a point, but Muddlo has cocked it up again. Time to fall on his cutlass.
  10. Shouldn't you be directing those comments about insulting Roy Smallwood at the Stoke management? Imagine having two minutes silence for a member of staff you claim to care about, but then not really caring, by accidentally listing him as one of that night's officials running the meeting!!! Disgraceful, but typical of Stoke.
  11. Although of course, if you drop a rider they can't be broughht back in the same season.... unless we're ignoring that rule. The rule of course is there for this very reason, to stop a team dropping a rider, waiting a month for the averages to change and then fiddling him back in.
  12. So Poole have sacked James Shanes and brought in Stefan Nielsen What a crazy move. The sign of a desperate struggling team I guess.
  13. The official reason for Lawson and Howarth missing recent meetings were Howarth -" Speedway injury (bruised thigh) supported by medical certificate" Lawson - "Family commitment (Management Committee approved)"
  14. They probably would win the Championship... ...The problem is they are riding in the Premiership. Time to drop back down to a level they can compete at?
  15. Anyone know if there are any tickets left for the Poole end of season dinner dance next month?
  16. I can understand Etheridge and Gappmaier being at Wetherby services on their way down from the North East, but if you're coming up from Rye House and you've reached Wetherby, then you've missed Manchester by a hell of a long way!
  17. It looks like the sun has proven to strong to allow tonight's meeting to be rained off, and we're edging towards start time. So instead, we'll have to play "Guess what time the generator fails / the airfence deflates / or the meeting is abandoned for other reasons"
  18. No Josh, you don't have to keep telling us. We all get that you think you're one of the best around the NSS, the trouble is that no one agrees with you. Least of all, the Belle Vue regular fans who have already replied. Do we have to keep telling you that your deluded opinion is wrong?
  19. This bit doesn't make sense really. Yes Ayres "crashed to the track". But "ran out of space" doesn't make sense. If Ayres had "ran out of space" that means he'd have collided with the fence. The fact that he didn't collide with the fence, and instead "crashed to the track" says that it was something or someone else that sent him crashing to the floor. The referee had a shocker by all accounts.
  20. If the riders arrive in dry weather at a place that has been dry for 36 hours plus, why would they be racing in a swamp? If a track can't be prepared with 36 hours of dry weather, the SCB need to be looking at the competence of the track curator. Or are we now to call off any meeting at any track where it has rained within the last two days or so? Why is Stoke always the club struggling to complete their fixtures because of an extraordinary number of dodgy call-offs? Amazing they can find enough gullible riders to make a team, when it's always the same story.
  21. Met office forecast has Stoke dry all this afternoon and evening and then dry all day Saturday. How can it be off 36 hours in advance? Joke Potters.
