  1. Also seen him Exeter v mildenhall YouTube cracking race,at mildenhall bytheway
  2. I just want to know what this "new concept" is when the b.s.p.a release the fixture list.in my honest opinion I would be surprised if we saw a speedway season again this year.
  3. Merry Xmas all tigers fans, here's hoping for some speedway next year.
  4. Absolutely spot on,a terrific racer most of the time, dependable, loyal second string and all round nice chap, yes he would have done a good job in the premier League, thanks very much for the memories Todd, sadly missed and all the best for the future.
  5. Think you are all being too optimistic,if he has got rid of most of his equipment and has a steady income from other employment then I doubt very much you will see him back.only my opinion though
  6. Thankyou very much for that footage, had some many happy memories of watching the Tigers there and some belting individual meetings, actually brought a tear to my eye,was a sad loss when it had to close.
  7. No cook,Wright,Nicholls, howarth, who the heck will be riding?
  8. Yes,truly bizarre.is this meeting ever going to happen? Me thinks not..!
  9. But there will be some official who will ask people to leave if they are seen not to be wearing them, especially if it,s mandatory.
  10. Too damn right my friend,I have to wear one nearly all of my shift at work,I'll be damned if I'm wearing one for the best part of the meeting, and I was looking forward to this as was going to stop over.as you say,why the hell make it mandatory outside,I've been to Scunthorpe for the last couple of meetings and they weren't mandatory there, ludicrous!
  11. its actually looking a quite a bit more appealing now, think i might attend.
  12. sorry, still not enticing enough.lambert max or paid max, palin the same and only opposition coming from the thompson twins.
  13. but not desperate enough to pay 31 quid for me and the missus, plus petrol and maybe a drink, bringing it to around the forty five quid mark
  14. whenever has a prog at sunny been 3 quid and the parking 2.lol
  15. The parking and programme was free the other Sunday so nothing new there,I was only paying 50p less for championship speedway last season.still expensive for n.d.l imho.woould love to see the line up.
  16. well, iwas planning on attending this until i saw the admission price, sorry but £15.50 for an ndl meeting, no way jose
  17. if the standard or racing is like it was for the youth championship then i for one will be more than happy.be grateful that we are even seeing some live speedway this year.it war a fantastic afternoon the other week, all run very well and 37 races in two and a half hours was a credit to rob and his team, except for the announcer that is, who i couldn't understand over the p.a system.
  18. totally uncalled for in a club that is steeped in history.just take stock of what you are saying as it often has a nasty habit of coming back and biting you on the derrière'
  19. And there you have it,maybe the other two had a few pints too, not.somerset were robbed.end of.
  20. was down for the first leg as was holidaying in cornwall, watched the second leg last night and personally thought that the rebels were robbed by the decisions by the ref.to have two re runs when summers was clear in that heat and morris and cook came down when it was clear it was cook at fault was shocking.congrats obviously to Edinburgh but the victory must have felt a little hollow.the refs decision was appalling and he was pretty much the same for the majority of the races.charles wrights exclusion was a bad decision also.just an opinion.
