Charles Wright isn't on a low average though. 6.5 is quite high. I could see us using Charles Wright on a lower average but on a 6.5 not a chance imo You could find better riders on lower averages. Ellis Perks wouldn't be considered yet. Newman 4.22 would be above him in the pecking order and so would Shanes imo.

Don't forget Adam has a lot of sponsors in Poole. Rumour No.1 - Poole have signed a 2nd rider for 2018 who is on a 5 something average (Ellis 5.45). Rumour No.2 - Poole have signed Adam Ellis as a full asset. All adds up.

Skidder told me to re-think about my options of riders who are on a 5.00 average. According to rumours we have made our 2nd signing for 2018 and its another rider on a 5.00 Adam Ellis is a 5 something so the rumour is more than likely true.

Agree with most of your post. Swindon - Are overrated big time imo. That little run they had shouldn't of happened. They got a win at Leicester when the Lions were down to 4 riders on the night. Somerset had a 4 man team after 3 heats at the Abbey. Rye House had to use a NL wobbler at reserve in place of KK who is scoring double figures in the 1-5 around Rye. The list just goes on and on. We are weakened when Lahti moves into the 1-5. I think we have got a great chance against Swindon but I couldn't see us winning the final if we got there. A massive plus for BV when Fricke comes back but will he be fit enough is the question. Personally I cant see past Wolves just because of the advantage they have around Monmore. But who knows.

Swindon fans are getting ahead of themselves. Even if they did beat us in the semi-final. Wolves would slaughter them around Monmore.

Morning Gavan. You was quiet last night. You give it large when Poole lose and when Poole win you click the sign out button. You can't say anything about me and Shovlar. Remember this. You said Middlo is like Wenger (He isn't a good manager). You said Middlo has only been this successful because of the teams we've had down the years. The team this year were down and out and if it was a boxing match we would've lost by TKO. But Matt and Middlo motivated the team and we managed to get 4th. Our No.1 threw a strop from the get go this year and yet we still made the play-offs. The last few nights proves how great Matt and Middlo are. Neither of them let our riders heads drop. MF sent a rocket up there backsides and the riders responded all 7 of them. Any other promoter wouldn't have done that. They would've just sat there and remained quiet no matter how bad it got. Now we are dangerous. Yes we have the weakest team on paper but we have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Personally I think we've got a great chance against Swindon. Cant see past Wolves for the title though.

Swindon were weakened badly tonight. But lets face it thats how other teams have lined up against them this season.

Agree with Shovlar we have nothing to lose now whatever happens I am proud of the boys. We have got a great chance against Swindon. They are overrated imo. Facing patched up teams constantly at the right time and that's the only reason why they finished top. Personally I think Wolves will win the league. I hope I am wrong.

Nope. Wolves would've got a point at your place the other night if Howarth and Schlein were there. Wolves are too strong for anyone over 2 legs.

Just want to say that you guys have been a terrific addition to the league this year. I have no doubt you will be back stronger in 2018. Be proud of your first season in the top flight.

There has been a lot of downs for us this year but tonight we have something to be proud of. Well done boys. You never gave up and you did all of us proud. No matter what happens in the play-offs we are grateful to all of you for your efforts. KK dragged our team down this year and upset the rest of the boys who wanted to be here. When we got rid of that backstabber the boys were different riders on the track. Proud, proud, proud.
