You was having a dig at me as well. You started off by saying Gavan was almost the sole cause for the thread being blocked the other day. I have been to Poole before. But I cant tell you what you can and cant believe in so you have your opinion and that's fine by me. If I didn't support Poole then do you actually think I would come on here and say I'm a Poole fan only to get a lot of stick about the woeful 2017 season? Listen I don't have a problem with you Steve. I find most of your posts entertaining tbh but you are wrong today. I don't like Gavan that's obvious but he didn't threaten anyone and Jonny The Spud started the window lickers stuff off so I felt your post was a bit harsh on both myself and Gavan because the only person who got there post removed was Jonny The Spud and that was the reason why the thread was locked in order for his post to be removed. If my posts and Gavan's were out of line then the mods would have removed our posts too and rightly so. It was just a Kurtz / Morris debate with Gavan getting angry like he normally does about Poole and that's all it was tbh until a certain comment made it's way to the forum. Yes Gavan shouldn't have quoted Jonny the Spud's post it was wrong on so many levels no doubt about it but's it not like Gavan posted that comment first is it? There was more than one person who said that at the end of the day and its not fair on one culprit to cop the lot. They were both naughty to say that as it can be very disrespectful to any member of this forum who may have a child or a family member with a disability. Not just Poole but the whole Speedway world in general. Anyway its all said and done now. Nobody can change what happened so there is no point in dwelling on it.

Wouldn't take any notice of him. Shovlar enjoyed every minute of it and he wishes it would continue that's why he started another thread in the hope that the debate would continue. He is also making stuff up in the hope of it all kicking off again. Reason why this thread got locked was due to a post by a certain member and that post needed removing. Our posts are still here. Me and you have argued and had digs at each other on most threads but the mods have never locked the thread. Like I said earlier we don't get along but in this case Shovlar is talking rubbish and he knows it. Throwing false accusations around in the hope of an argument kicking off which is quite sad really.
-
Your talking rubbish. I am a Poole fan. If I wasn't then I wouldn't say I am. If I supported a Championship club then I would say I support a Championship club. I don't like Gavan one bit but your post is as 2 faced as it gets tbh. You troll other teams threads. I have seen you do it on a number of occasions with your latest stunt being on the Coventry thread. Jonny the Spud called Poole fans window lickers first therefore you are completely wrong again also nobody threatened anyone so you are making stuff up again.

Your wrong on everything 1. Your team is way under the limit. 2. Don't know where your getting a 9.00 average for Pedersen from. 3. Zabik and Mroczka wouldn't be a 7.00 4. Not exactly visiting weekly are they seeing as you have already left week 2 blank. 5. You are exaggerating on those Maximum's. Riders like Charles Wright are more than capable of beating the GP boys.

No Wolves could achieve it. Belle Vue could as well Piotr Pawlicki was interested in a UK return and personally I wouldn't mind Wolves signing him on a 7 something because its best for business and its best for British Speedway. Same goes for Belle Vue regarding Zagar and Swindon with Kildemand. Get those GP or Ex GP riders over if you have the cash to spend. Get a TV deal by having big name attractions on show and then the fans will start to turn up in numbers because the product on show is better than previous years. Say one team cant afford top riders and they know they are going to get battered before the meeting begins but if the riders on show were classy riders who don't ride over here often then the fans would still turn up because you are getting top riders providing you entertainment on the night on a rare occasion. Its like a football match between say Arsenal and Barcelona at the Emirates. You know Arsenal are going to lose before its started but the fans would still turn up and would appreciate the talent like Messi on show. BT will more than likely offer a better TV deal due to the attractions the league has. British Speedway wins by having some top riders compete over here. Clubs win because attendances will be up due to the product being better and the quality on show. Which would mean more revenue and gate money on the night.

Dont understand that signing tbh unless Sheffield are going top heavy with Grajczonek or Nicholls. Surely Georgie Wood is going to be the No.7?

Poole Thread Blocked Due To Trolls
Mattfordfan replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Not KKS and I don't even know who MMF is. Stop making stuff up. I try to have a proper debate with Speedway fans up and down the country about the state of our beloved product but they cant have a sensible debate with me because they know that I'm right so they result to childish comments in reply. Going to leave it there otherwise it will just go round in circles. So don't expect a reply no matter how much bait or insults you or any others put out because I wont be biting. -
Going to leave it there because its getting silly again. Obviously some on here cant have a proper debate over the state of our product.
-
Like I said click screen name history on my profile and it will show you the 3 names I mentioned. Wont be replying to any further comments on this thread as it will just go round in circles.

I have been to meetings and yes it would because its a rare experience to see those riders race in Britain. Let's say it's Swindon vs Poole and the meeting had riders like Kildemand, Musielak, Milik, Woryna and C. Holder on show the attendance would increase because you are getting a rare chance at seeing certain riders that you wouldn't normally see. People can see riders like Starke, Wilson-Dean & Nick Morris anytime they like because they ride in both leagues up and down the country. Attendances are down because the product is poor but if they got rid of these stupid average assessments then who wouldn't want to see a meeting possibly containing riders like Piotr Pawlicki, Zagar, Kildemand and Milik
-
Don't come on here complaining about the rules and the product then because you are clearly satisfied with the state British Speedway is in. Not going to get big name riders over here when they are given ridiculous averages like Vaculik on a 9.00 who hasn't ridden in Britain before. Nope was annoyed at first but then I decided to look at the reasoning behind the decision and then I changed my opinion.
-
No Wajtknecht?
-
That's why I think the 1 rider over 8.00 ruling was a very good decision.
-
No no no. We have to keep British Speedway going. British Speedway wants to provide good close racing and not one sided meetings. Also some clubs aren't blessed with funds so it's good to cut costs up and down the country in order to make sure those teams aren't running at a loss. Therefore 1 rider over 8.00 on each team is a very fair ruling imo (Cost cutting and should ensure closer meetings)
-
It's not trolling. You just don't get it. Here let me explain it a bit better. Paying customers want to see big name riders. Matt Ford can afford the big name riders but it's the rules and re assessments that is stopping him at the moment. If Matt was allowed to sign riders on averages that the riders achieved then it would lead to an increase in attendances up and down the country because fans would jump at the chance to see big name riders something that the British fans don't have the pleasure of on a regular basis. Benefits everyone. British Speedway wins and so do Premiership clubs due to an increase on ticket sales. Every event needs a big name or names as an attraction.
-
Woryna 4.65 and Milik 5.68 is best for business and for British Speedway in general. The amount of revenue (Gate Money) our club would provide for other Premiership clubs. For example Somerset's record attendance for a single league meeting would go through the roof due to Matt Ford.

Hope not. The best decision the BSPA have made in years.

Why is Peterborough £240 when Sheffield is £224 Cant see many people buying a season ticket for Peterborough with the confirmed line-up so far. -
At the end of the day the Jacob / Freddie situation hindges on a TV deal imo. TV Deal - Then it will be Freddie No TV Deal - Then it will be Thorssell imo due to teams making cut backs in the league and Jacob will be a fair bit cheaper than Freddie.

Poole Thread Blocked Due To Trolls
Mattfordfan replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Give it a rest for crying out loud. You altered the wording in the spud's post aggressively and disrespectfully and there wasn't any need for it. Now just drop it. Even more insults. Just looking for arguments all day and all night. Just give it a rest. -

Thinking the same. Mark Plummer thinks Panthers will have a No.1 Andersen is virtually a no go as I mentioned yesterday he is a key rider for Lodz and is always in the team. -

Must of done Shanes Grass and long track commitments at weekends. 13.76 Nicholls 9.72 & 4.04 (Reserves mentioned below or Brandford) Andersen 10.07 & 3.69 (Bailey, Hall, Bacon, Phillips, J. Smith, Perry or Davey) Kennett 8.30 & 5.46 (Etheridge, Jacobs, Gappmaier, Greaves, Perks, Graversen, T. Kurtz or Williamson) Without a No.1 Proctor or Berge & Sedgmen, Busk-Jakobsen & Newman. Wright is off to Sheffield or Redcar that's why he isn't on the list. JBA should be back at Redcar.
