Like I said Newman will always get you points at reserve but then his average will go up a fair bit and then that would put him in the 1-5 and its a whole different story then. Key to building a winning team is to have riders who will score consistently week in and week out no matter what position they ride at. Woryna for example. if he has a 4.65 average then he will start at reserve and score big. When he does move out of reserve he would be more than capable of scoring points @ No.2 or 4. IMO.

I respect your opinion and you have made a lot of good points as highlighted above. By now he should have been an established No.2 but he's never kicked on from that No.6 position. I agree about all of this team effort and attitude stuff but we need riders who are going to score points no matter what position they take in the team. Newman will score points at No.6 that's a given but he wont score well in the 1-5 and that defeats the object.

Wrong. And who cares if people love a certain rider if he doesn't score points on the track then that doesn't help the team or the club. I agree that the track isn't up to scratch but Newman has never improved and the stats back that claim up.

Absolute rubbish. We haven't won a league title for a couple of years yet I'm still a Poole fan. None of you can come up with a logical reason so you result to childish insults. Bjarne Pedersen has done a lot for this club in the past but you wouldn't want him back would you.

Garrity did actually kick on. He got himself into the Coventry 1-5 and held his own. Promoting doesn't score points on the track does it.

It's because you know I'm right and that's why you cant come up with a reason. Kyle's Championship average has dropped for the last 3 seasons. He got sacked this season because he couldn't cut it in the 1-5. End of story.

Rubbish. Just telling you the truth not my fault if you don't like it. Kyle has never improved as a rider. You look at other riders who have kicked on from when the FTR system was brought in. Kerr, S. Worrall, Bates, Ellis, Rose to name a few whilst Newman hasn't and he hasn't done anything in the 2nd tier either always been lingering around the 6.0 - 6.5 average mark.

Josh is a good signing. Holder isn't committed to British Speedway anyway. Only rides over here because he has to. We are better off without Newman. Injury after injury for someone who cant cut it in the 1-5. He's a reserve and nothing more and we don't need a No.6 because we have got Woryna.

Somerset wont be getting all of those riders anyway. Its just another rumour doing the rounds. Matt does have cash to spend but he is a sensible business man and wont pay over the odds for average riders. Piotr Pawlicki and Vaculik wouldn't of been cheap and Matt wanted them so he must have the financial backing otherwise we wouldn't of been interested in the first place.

It is in a poor state in this country. But I can see Matt pulling one big name rider out of the hat from somewhere. Was interested in Piotr P and Vaculik so he must have some cash to spend. Matt said 2 new riders to Poole who are going to be living with him because they need accommodation Makes me wonder if one of those could be Drabik considering it's highly likely Milik signs. Matt said he is waiting on the Polish 3 league ruling to be dropped and that screams Milik as the rider in question. Milik and Drabik both ride for Wroclaw so they could travel to the UK together.
