And back off topic again, just the two of us actually trying to discuss speedway related issues by the look of it. Back on topic, Max seems to have improved his form a bit for the Monarchs after dropping down to reserve and scoring well he's back as a second string scoring 7 or 8 per meeting.
-
Not really sure, I think Mark was around 4 when he signed
-
Nice try at attempting to get back on topic but the usual suspect keeps it going lol I'll try again, not sure about Tai but the way our top guns have been performing I would guess his average would fit. More concerned about the injury to Mark Riss to be honest, do we carry on with guests for the next 6 weeks or go for a more long term solution. I guess the logical solution would be Max or is there someone out there who can offer more?

Every track has incidents, does that make them all horror tracks? It's quite clear you're just trying to wind someone up, it's getting very boring -

Really? Apart from the tactical ride 8-1 the result was never in doubt really -
Freddie is returning to action in the Prague GP on Saturday after getting the thumbs up from his physio, says he's nearly back to 100% so should be back with us soon

We will be without Freddie and possibly Rory for this one but the weather forecast for Monday is awful so the weather may win on this occasion -
Freddie's injury is his left knee I believe

The one last bank holiday Monday was normal entry fee of £18 -
He's also been asked to do the Swedish GP

And you know that for a fact do you, no thought not!! You do realise that he rode for GB in the world cup in 2008, only his second season in British speedway and when he was still only 17, and 2 years before his first GP season so your comments just don't make any sense to be honest. You're just assuming that those were his motives and he couldn't have wanted to ride for GB because he was born in Britain to British parents. He's British, end of, get over it!!!
-
Yes coz Cookie is the ultimate professional, his attitude at the playoff final was spot on, just ask Freddie lol
-
To a certain extent yes but he has also adopted a more aggressive riding style which has really made the difference I think. Long may it continue, I would love to see him crowned world champion, couldn't happen to a nicer bloke.
-
Schlein has never claimed to be English, he has simply resided in this country long enough to be eligible to ride in the British finals.

Away win hopefully, 44 - 46 but won't be too disappointed if we pick up a point -
No idea but he obviously does or he wouldn't be allowed in
-
I think he was referring to preparations for the world cup at BV last year. We had a great chance to win it on home turf but didn't take it seriously enough

Rosco asked Tai to put in a word to the BSPA about becoming manager of Team GB and made promises to him about how things would be run more professionally if he were the manager, he talked of setting up training camps etc. Tai took him at his word and put in a word for him and he got the job he wanted but nothing changed. Tai took it upon himself to arrange a training day for the other riders of Team GB but no one else turned up, one rider saying he didn't need to train, all he needed was a faster bike and he would be world champion. There are 2 sides to every story. Some people love him, some people hate him but there are 2 sides to every story.
-
Heard it straight from the horses mouth at an evening with Tai at the Cleveland Arms in Wolverhampton not long after the fallout and has been discussed on here in other threads
-
PK didn't borrow his bike, just an engine
-
Tai's reasons for not wanting to ride for Team GB are well documented and he has stayed that once Rosco's gone he will be willing to return. He was born here which makes him as British as you and me!!!

Yeah, in his last 3 home meetings, admittedly Freddie has got two maximums but in the other only managed a paid maximum. And only finishing 2nd in the first GP, what's he playing at, getting paid for nothing that bloke!!!!
