New averages are out, we have 2.15 to play with, we simply have to use it to turn our season around
-
It'll be fine, they've probably got 500 barrels of oil on order to help it bind
-
That's the problem, we tend to be very loyal aswell, I don't see us dropping any of the top 5 or Becker. Ashley is the obvious choice but options on replacing him are very limited
-
Maybe he just needs to get his confidence back at a track he knows well
-
The latest rolling averages on speedway GB site add up to 40.35 so 2.15 to play with. Ashley now 3.32 and Ricky now 4.42 so should easily fit if these figures are correct
-
Belle Vue fans seem to be losing their patience with Ricky Wells, could he be the answer to replace Ashley Morris at reserve. His average should fit come 1st July. Also, after last night's scores, Sam looks set to retain his No 1 position
-
I doubt he would pass up the opportunity of a permanent place if offered for a 28 day injury replacement. You would think that promoters are already weighing up their options and speaking to the riders they may be interested in. Bellego is certainly good value at th NSS. I've a feeling that if you release Ricky, Wolves will replace Ashley Morris with him rather quickly.

Oh ok. Yes. It was Tungate and Jacob at Monmore, then Freddie and Bjerre at BV -

Are you talking about Freddies horror crash with Bjerre in the the 2017 semi final??? He came back in 2018 and had his best season ever, finishing 3rd in the GP series -
I don't think we will ever sign Cook as long as CVS and Pete are there. Who would you have got rid of to sign him?
-
Just checked the latest rolling averages including last night's meeting and Jacob is now top of the averages. I was quite shocked to see that we are currently 1.89 below the 42.5 limit, although after 3 successive defeats I guess it's not too surprising. With only 2 meetings before the next official GSA's are issued, home to Peterborough and away at Poole, barring a miracle we will be way under the limit on the 1st July. What would you do to strengthen, if anything? Personally I feel Ashley is a bit out of his depth this year and although I really like him, i would look at replacing him with someone like Jonas B Andersen who I was very impressed with last year. The other option would be a no 1 but who is available and who would we drop?

Ipswich v Wolves 20th May

Did good in Sweden on Tuesday, 9 points including 2 heat wins -
Have googled them, I see what you mean.
-
I didn't realise that, not on Facebook thankfully
-
I don't think anyone is disputing that overall, just maybe 1 or 2 tracks that Jacob has never raced on. However looking at the bigger picture it is clearly the right move
-
I believe Ashley has said a lack of meetings so far this season has made it difficult for him to really get any momentum going. Hopefully he will get a few more meetings in with you guys over the coming weeks. The trouble with Ashley, in my opinion, is the standard of reserve in the top league this year is very good and he has the second lowest average. Points this year are going to be very hard for him.
-
I only agreed with the tracks Jacob has limited or no experience on, most notably Ipswich. Otherwise I totally agree that Jacob makes us stronger overall, of that I have no doubt.
-
I would probably agree with you there, Nicholls is much more accomplished at tracks like Ipswich and Peterborough, last nights meeting is probably the reason Jacob wasnt brought back in last week. makes us very strong at home though.
-
I suspect it was made easier by knowing Scott had another option lined up. Looking forward to the rest of the season now, it's the team PA wanted, let's see how it works out
-
Will be good to be back at full strength, so pleased Scott has managed to get fixed up elsewhere
-
I see Jacob got 9 for Dackarna yesterday
-
No, Ryan Guest said to Scott you've been brought in as a temporary replacement for Jacob but you must be hoping it can become permanent. All Scott said was he will always try 100% whoever he's riding for but obviously he'd be delighted if he does stay. There were, I have to stay, a lot of cheers when he said that.
