  1. Poole will need to win at Kings Lynn to finish top, they got smashed there last time, and Stars are unbeaten at home. Not a foregone conclusion
  2. Apparently dates and venues of semi finals are being announced today. I expect Ipswich and Wolves home legs in the first week, Swindon and Poole the second week
  3. http://www.speedwaygb.co.uk/poole19 Taken from here, as I said, I don't know how accurate it is
  4. Ricky's average will drop considerably on 1st October, his current rolling average on Speedway GB is 3.56. They could use a decent guest for semi final first leg, and possibly second leg if it's the first one on Monday 30th. After that they will be screwed if that average is accurate.
  5. It's always preferable, although those that made the trip to Wolverhampton certainly enjoyed it.
  6. It could go either way, it depends who wants it more. We need Luke or Ryan to be on it tonight to win I think. In the grand scheme of things a point wouldn't be too bad for us
  7. Would be pretty impossible to fit MPT in at reserve on a 6.3 average. As for Cook, not sure anyone will want him next year. He's more trouble than he's worth
  8. You would be penalised for a meeting result being called early due to curfew / weather
  9. It is normal practice and in the rules that re-arranged fixtures be agreed by both clubs, not just arranged by the home promoter without consultation. Wolves suggested a couple of dates but Peterborough (Buster) offered only 1, which was 19th September. That date was totally unacceptable for various reasons. Firstly there would be very little time to promote a potential playoff fixture just 4 days after this pivotal meeting. Secondly, it just happens to be the cut off date for league meetings. What would happen in the case of a rain off when any re-arranged date would likely be after the playoffs and therefore pointless. It's also worthwhile pointing out that the the original fixture was cancelled at Peterboroughs request as they said they had too many meetings in a short space of time which was not viable, something which CVS understood and agreed to. You would have thought that in return for his co-operation he would have been treated a little better but that's not Busters way, it seems
  10. He had more chance prior to last Saturday, turning up and putting in a sub standard performance due to injury did him more harm than good.
  11. By his own admission on Saturday, he shouldn't be riding anywhere. Very foolish imo.
  12. Thorssell and Morris were shocking everywhere when they first came back, which is why we dropped 10 points at home in a short space of time. They are a different proposition now, 27 points between them last night. It should be a close one, would be happy with a point to be honest, as it would put us above Ipswich if they lose
  13. Good idea, let Poole finish top and get a comfortable passage to the final.
  14. That's good news that a date has finally been agreed, a bit of a strange one though, Wolves will probably be without Jacob Thorssell if Dackarna make it to the Swedish playoff final, the semi final is today and next Tuesday so I imagine the final would be Tuesday 17th and 24th
  15. CVS made some comments in the programme regarding the Peterborough meeting. Buster rescheduled the meeting for the 19th without consulting Wolves. When CVS contacted Peterborough about it they were very apologetic about it and removed the date from the fixtures and we've heard nothing since. CVS has tried to talk to Peterborough about it he was told that fixtures need to be agreed by Buster. CVS has had no choice but to ask the BSPA MC to intervene. He said in all his time involved in speedway he has never known anything like it
  16. In 3 rides the furthest he got was bend 2, definately bike trouble I would say
  17. Exactly, no idea why it's been dropped when it's such a key meeting
  18. No, Wolves lost Freddy and Jacob to injury in the 2017 semi final and could only use guests who didn't take part in the playoffs
  19. Who says Peterborough v Wolves is on the 19th? No date has been agreed yet. To be quite honest, if the playoff positions are decided by one fixture not being completed , it will be another nail in the coffin of British speedway
  20. Don't be so pessimistic, if we can win away at Peterborough we have a great chance
  21. And is the day of the cut off for league meetings to be completed, what happens if it rains?
  22. Maths not your strong point? That's 46 for Ipswich
