  1. I've heard similar, but surely he's capable of maintaining / improving a 5.38 average. Definately worth a gamble imo, if he gets himself sorted he will be a bargain on that
  2. A 4 point rider will have to be chosen very carefully as they will come in as a second string
  3. I agree but looking at the points left, if Nick is included, then the 1.86 surplus will be used to strengthen Sam or Jacob (or both)
  4. The only reason we would keep Nick now, as far as I can see, would be to fit someone like Freddie in
  5. Try again, that's 40.64 by my reckoning, there will be another change somewhere
  6. Didn't happen last year but they announced Sam that morning
  7. If there is a new no 1 I would have thought it will be announced on Saturday, as it's season ticket day
  8. It does indeed, assuming that Broc has replaced Kyle there would be 7.24 to replace Nick, 9.21 to replace Sam or 9.19 to replace Jacob. Freddies final average for 2017 was 9.29 I think, so unless someone gets a reduction he's a little out of reach with just one more change
  9. Could be someone in for Nick Morris, Pawlicki maybe, or there have been rumours Mikkel Bech is returning to UK, what average would he be?
  10. Isn't it minimum 4 points for an overseas rider
  11. It is indeed just opinion as it will never be be proven, however the opinion can be backed up with facts Fact one, prior to the playoff final, Wolves lost just 1 home meeting all season to Poole, (already without Riss who was replaced by Clegg)after Kyle was withdrawn from the meeting after completing just 1 ride, leaving the weak reserve pairing of Clegg and Greaves to take his rides Fact two, exactly one month prior to the final, Wolves won convincingly at home to Swindon by 14 points, ending Swindons long winning streak However, as you say, just opinion
  12. It's not the side that's rumoured at all, just what team I would pick, CVS and PA may have different ideas
  13. Yes great news, not surprisingly every other team was after him so really pleased he is staying with us
  14. Very true, my money's on Luke or Scott Nicholls
  15. Everyone's highest home attendance will be against Sheffield for sure, love him or hate him, he's box office. Great signing for both Sheffield and British Speedway in general.
  16. He did indeed, he also said he was thankful that Wolves stuck with him as most other teams would have dropped him, and he wants to repay the loyalty we showed in him. I would be very surprised if hes not back with us next year to be honest.
  17. He said at the end of season presentation bash that he really wanted to come back next year and prove to the Wolves fans what he's really capable of.
  18. Not sure about that, at a lower level there will be even more expectation to win it I would have thought.
  19. Quite an easy one for me this time, I would like to see the same 7 back next year, although I can see one enforced change as I think Kyle will be at Sheffield. At the start of this season we brought in Scott Nicholls as an injury replacement for Thorssell, and he did very well, so for me it would be a no brainer to replace Kyle with Scott. 1 Sam Masters 7.35 2 Scott Nicholls 5.50 3 Nick Morris 5.38 4 Rory Schlein 6.65 5 Jacob Thorssell 7.33 6 Ryan Douglas 4.66 7 Luke Becker 5.27 Total = 42.14
  20. No there isn't, this year Kings Lynn and Ipswich had home meetings on the same night, as did Poole and Swimdon
