  1. He wouldn’t have been guesting if he had been fit to ride. I guess if the temporary signing is cancelled then it automatically reverts to the original line up. I really don’t understand all the fuss, if Nicholls had ridden instead of Bomber the result would have been pretty much the same.
  2. Two things, firstly what would we have to gain by dropping a rider who scored a paid max on our track the previous week. Secondly, everyone who knows CVS will know he always does things by the book. As for your question, I’ve no idea how he damaged his ankle, maybe he kicked out in frustration after being excluded, who knows!!!
  3. Harris guested for the home side as they reverted to their original team declaration including the injured Luke Becker, as short-term signing Scott Nicholls suffered an ankle injury in Poland on Saturday. Taken from match report on British Speedway website No reason not to believe it as Scott got a paid maximum at Monmore when guesting against KL
  4. Not really that odd, Scott was injured in Poland on Saturday so cancelling the temporary signing is the logical thing to do I would say.
  5. Why is it a joke, it just confirms Bomber guesting was legit, even though that’s not what all the moaners on here want to believe. At the end of the day there was a Becker sized hole in the team that Bomber filled nicely.
  6. CVS didn’t get rid of him, it was Nicolai’s decision.
  7. Poland have squads so an injured rider is easily covered, I think that’s a luxury we can’t afford at the moment
  8. Trouble is r/r makes you so much weaker when it's the 3rd heat leader, 3 of the rides taken by second strings and reserves, how's that fair. There must be a fairer way for r/r to operate, maybe something like anyone can take a ride but the average totals for the 4 rides must not exceed the average of the missing rider x4.
  9. If he fits and he’s willing, it’s a no brainer.
  10. Sounds like a judgement call for Mr Morris
  11. Thats bonkers if true, Luke’s not missed a meeting in 3 seasons. If there’s no facility we’ll have to replace him as it’s a broken ankle by the sound of it.
  12. What struck me was how Jacob didn’t look any quicker than Leon when he used his bike for the semi. Is it his bike or the set up, either way it needs addressing if Leon is to kick on this year.
  13. Wake up yourself, that’s exactly what you said, if you meant different than just explain yourself and don’t be so rude. Re read your post yourself and you will see what I mean. If you meant an entire years average then just say that in the first place.
  14. What are you on about? The fewer meetings it’s based on, the worse it is. Are you you seriously saying an average is better based on 4 meetings than 10? If so you know nothing about speedway! Imagine the scenario, Ipswich guaranteed a playoff place with 4 meetings still to ride, Emil and Doyle could drop their average to 4 and start the next season as reserves. That’s better though hey!
  15. And using 2 home 2 away would leave it more open to manipulation. Someone could drop from a 10 point average to 4 within a month. Very handy at the end of the season!!!
  16. Did 6 or 7 regular league meetings also, not just the playoffs though. That’s a big difference. I do agree though that averages should be fairly reassessed after a rider chooses not to ride here for a couple of seasons.
  17. Technik said we were missing a big hitter at Monmore but Sam is! that’s what the reply was about, what’s your problem (apart from hating Wolves)
  18. No surprise there then, I would have said Sam was a big hitter at Monmore
