Anyone coming off on the 1st bend will stay down hoping for a rerun, would be very unprofessional not to. -
Belle Vue v Wolves

A strong wind will help dry it out I’m sure -
If you were a promoter would you shop your own rider for refusing to ride and cop them a 7 or 28 day ban for the much more important league meetings? Or pretend he was never asked in the first place.

SCB's excuse for Artem Laguta

Clearly just a smoke screen, the medical explanation is ridiculous when he had no intention of riding in the first place You should have signed Tai last year and just got him to produce a doctors note before every away meeting -

They did, the meeting preview on Sunday had Bomber at No 1 -
Congratulations to Zach on his first full maximum in British Speedway. He's certainly adapted well to the track. Out of interest can anyone remember the last Wolves reserve to score a full maximum. It's certainly not been done in recent years.
-
Maybe they haven’t asked, they’re just finding out how long they can get away with it.

Sheffield v Wolves 8th June
Call me wolfie replied to 4BenMoran's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The alternative is what exactly? R/r or a guest 25% below his average, he’s done ok in his other meetings, stop talking b#ll#cks!! -
He also thinks Sams not a true no 1 yet his average is now 8.46 and he has beaten every other no 1 in the league at least once
-
All of you who predicted Wolves to be near the bottom must feel pretty stupid right now. I always thought it was a pretty decent team, now I know it is, the table doesn’t lie. Also said Ipswich weren’t as strong as everyone was making out, it takes more than 2 riders to make a good team, I was right on that also.

Wolves v Witches May 22nd

Ipswich will need maximums from Doyle and Sayfutdinov to win this, aside from Danny no one else will score many imo. -
Belle Vue vs Wolves (KOC) 18/5/23

It’s called taking a punt and hope nobody realises, something Lemon seems to attempt more frequently of late. -
No wonder speedway in this country is dying if we get comments like that from so called speedway fans……….idiotic

Wolves v Sheffield Monday 15th May.

Strange comment! Steve Worrall commented after the meeting that he struggled a little bit as the track was a little slicker than normal so he was unable to use the outside line effectively. Monmore produces good racing when opposition riders know how to ride it, as Muesilak, Morris and Kerr obviously do. -
Sheffield v Wolves (prem)

Ben Barker guesting for Becker, making the meeting pointless imo, hope it gets rained off to avoid a farce. -
Even when it’s a rider who has ridden in your previous 77 meetings without missing one!!!! Hmmmm, I could understand it if it’s a rider you’ve just signed but it’s a little harsh, it’s all about timing timing, if he had completed one bend of one heat for us we would be okay! Is it our fault he was injured elsewhere?
-
Just bumping this up, if you haven’t already signed please do so. We’re not going down without a fight, 4 pages in the Express and Star tonight. I know some of you detest Monmore Green but quite literally the future of top flight Speedway in this country depends on a positive outcome. Any more clubs fall by the wayside and it’s all over I’m afraid.

I think the only viable way for speedway to continue in the midlands is a joint venture with a purpose built Speedway stadium which could be shared by Wolves, Birmingham and Cradley. I very much doubt any of us can afford to go it alone.
-
Because at that point he was, do keep up
-
No mention of another 28 day period, riding as a guest for us tomorrow apparently
-
I know just saying because their averages are lower doesn’t necessarily matter if we choose the right one. You’re right, it seems logical to go for Kerr, although Howarth wouldn’t surprise me to be honest.
-
Then we would have delayed the 28 day replacement until after yesterdays meeting surely.
