  1. Glasgow really need to improve the standing area on the back straight. If each of the standing areas could be stepped further then there would be better viewing but as it is just now there will be limitations as to how many spectators can be accomodated
  2. You all seem to be missing the point. Its nothing to do with nationality. With respect to Mitchell, he is no longer an up and coming rider. He has been around, albeit out for long spells with unfortunate injuries, for a few years now. JP Blackburn, Jack Smith et all are starting out in the sport and are filling the number 7 positions. We complain about the National team and here is a stepping stone, which the BSPA have put in place to make it possible for riders to come up from the National League, only to find that a place has been filled with an "experienced" rider with little or no chance of riding for the National team. Edinburgh promotion exploiting the rules again. Mitchell must be fed up of being the most talked about rider for the last few winter's for all the wrong reasons. Speedway fans should be pleased for Mitchell that he has overcome his terrible injuries and has got his speedway mojo back. Good luck to Mitchell and let's hope this time next year we are talking about him having an injury free season.
  3. Mitchell riding at number 7 is wrong. Edinburgh should have to do what everyone else has had to do and sign a genuine 2 point rider. He may have an average around that mark but it's not in the interests of the sport. No harm at all to Mitchell.
  4. Only thing I would change DC2 is that in this league I would expect Doyle, Holder, KK, Lindgren all to be 10+ averages
  5. I think Lewis Rose is the key. If he can start where he left off last season then he will be great support for the top 3
  6. I think that Glasgow also have an entertaining team and that might help in getting the fans there on a Saturday night. A team of racers, entertainment is the name of the game.
  7. I think Sheffield look the best followed by Ipswich. Peterborough look next best and should certainly be strong early doors with BWD at reserve. The 4th place could be a shoot out between Newcastle and Glasgow. Roll on March!!
  8. With 4 spaces to fill and 21.23 points to play with, how about Masters 8.97, Palovaara 5.80, Clegg 4.34 and a 2 pointer. 39.88 total. Masters 8.97 Wells 7.92 E.Riss 6.85 Palovaara 5.80 Clegg 4.34 M.Riss 4.00 AN Other 2.00
  9. I think that both Somerset and Coventry are basically Championship sides. Somerset should be handy around the OTA as they have the basis of last seasons septet so they should be hard to beat at home. Allen starting at reserve is going to be a trump card.
  10. Also, look at the amount of riders who appear on the 2016 season final green sheet averages who aren't yet officially named in any Championship side. As DC2 states, there are 12 places left to fill, however there are still around 60 riders who rode in the Premier League in 2016 available.
  11. I think Masters will likely carry the other 6 again next season. Hope Clegg kicks on with some consistency, good rider.
  12. Disappointing in my opinion. Great number 1 in Cookie but a team full of inconsistency. Can see the Comets struggle on the road again.
  13. Really liking the look of this team, Smith and Perry have had a season together at Birmingham so should settle in well and the top 3 are always willing to help their team mates. If it's to be Lunna and Bewley to make up the septet the Tigers fans have plenty to be excited about.
  14. I am sure Mr Dickson has thought it all through. If the remainder of the team is to be as some of the posters on here are suggesting (Lunna, Bewley, Perry/Morley) then for me that is an exciting team packed with experience and youth that are full of raw talent. Very pleased indeed!
  15. Adam Rynon's average across both leagues will be 5.12, which is the average he gained in the Premier League during 2016
  16. Adam Roynons average across both leagues is his Premier League average from last season which is 5.12
