Thomas has been replaced by Aaron Summers so if he is in tonight Oxford should have a full team -
Strongest second tier ever?

Without a doubt the Polish restrictions on how many countries you can compete in and the money they can pay the riders has had an impact on British Speedway. It would be interesting to see how many riders would come back to the Premiership if Poland lifted their restrictions. -
Glasgow V Berwick - Friday 27 August 7.30pm
Owenbros replied to SharpenRake's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Tigers combined average is 41.27 just now Kerr 7.12 and Brennan 6.09 (13.21) could replace Ostergaard 7.96 and Sedgemen 5.59 (13.55) That would mean Jensen back at reserve -
This is an interesting topic, could the information be brought up to date before the season starts?

It could very well have been "BUST" without him. Like him or not he has saved the Premier League in 2019
-
Good luck Stewart this will be good for both parties. Loads of experience, great manager, great trackman and will be popular with the supporters whichever league Leicester are in.

Glasgow have team race suits. Being a professional I am sure that his Glasgow suit will have his sponsors on it although his GP racesuit is for GP's
-
I heard that too I am sure he will get it back to what it should be

Glasgow Vs Edinburgh KO Cup 27/05/2018

Has the water bowser been seen this year? To my knowledge the water bowser went at the end of last season and didn't just break down on sunday -

The team manager has a responsibility to get the team going, high fives and hugs are for the end of a match. The interval more often than not seems to play into the visitors hands. Stewart would get these guys going. Harris days must be numbered, he should be strolling this. Track preparation is paramount although the owners clearly don't give it the respect that it is due. -
Glasgow v Sheffield SGBCL 04/05/2018 @ 19.30

The Team Manager is responsible. Paulco is correct the lack of experience is a worry. It is not as though he is new to the sport, its down to paying attention and keeping focused until the racing is done -

Well done young Dan -
If Middlo has lost the passion to get the team going why don't Poole go for Stewart Dickson former team manager at Glasgow? In a lot of people's opinion one of the best managers in British speedway and would maybe relish the new challenge. Was he not going to be stand in for Middlo the other week, I read somewhere that Matt Ford had asked Dickson to take the team as Middlo was on holiday. Yous could do worse
-
Yes but the meeting is on a Tuesday night, a lot of people will be working and unless you are within an hour and a half from Berwick and also travelling at peak time this will be a difficult one to get to. I do hope they get a good crowd as the promotion deserve it
-
I see someone called Dickie Head has posted on the Leicester v Poole thread that Stewart is standing in as team manager for Middlo next week

Leicester v Poole SGB Premiership A. 9/4/18
Owenbros replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
maybe this is why he left Glasgow, there loss is Pooles gain -
Strange one altogether. Looks like the owners are doing it their way. Stuart will not have taken the decision lightly if he has been there that long, that's a lot to give up. Hope the riders are not affected by this. Michael Max seems to be the one with the best relationship with them and has been the manager before. Alan Dick has also done it before. Timing is terrible
-
Vissing will do fine in a strong top 5, I am sure the new track shape will suit him. He usually went well there in the past. I hear that Workington will not be the only team with track curator with farming experience I hear that there will be an x farmer at Glasgow this year as Stuart has stood down
-
Will the track be ready for press and practice especially the third bend as the building there keeps any sun off of it.
-
Can't understand how Michael Max is not the assistant team manager if one is really needed. He has done it before and he is a promoter at Glagow
-
Do we know when the track alteration work is starting?
-
Looks like a bargain on that average and goes well at Ashfield. Solid looking team.
