He only beat Bowes and West. Rew and Kurtz fell off in his heats. Although the only other rider in the field you'd possible expect him to beat was Etheridge.
-
Add Workington and Scunthorpe to your list
-
He wont be an asset for Glasgow because he's owned by Belle Vue.

Pot kettle black

Finished 2023 on 4.96, so starts on 4.84. But has a squad place in Polish National League (old Div.2) so would probably rule out Friday nights at Armadale.
-
How have BSPL twisted it? He appeared on 2023 Final green sheets as 4.21 so with 2.5% reduction he's due to start on 4.10. Don't see how Edinburgh could think he would be on anything else. They could still use him on that average then if his average falls upgrade when riders like Gilkes or Rowe find their not getting enough meetings and are looking for a team, like Drew Kemp last year.
-
See above couple of British riders might be available. If a young Aussie impresses this winter and gets snapped up for the u24 Ekstraliga then no reason why Poole could change their team for the start of the season and sign him. Polish u24 Ekstraliga doesn't start until mid April so would be able to start on a 4 before riding in Poland.

Yes, but you don't have a genuine No.1. Tom Brennan & Ben Cook had higher averages in the Premiership this season than Kyle Howarth
-
But what about the 7 heats neither Harris or Worrall appear in?
-
So no Paco if your looking for consistency
-
Did you see him ride for Birmingham last season?
-
You're hard to please. Oxford the top pairing in the league for heats 13 & 15, 3 solid second strips - two of which are young improving riders and 2 promising 2 point riders. Obviously they could have signed a higher averaged rider somewhere but the promotion have done little wrong so far. I think they'll be near the top of the league. I'd prefer to build a team like that than go with 3 heat leaders and 4 reserves.

Rumour has him at Glasgow
-
Gilkes has a squad place in Polish Div.2 so would rule out Saturdays at Plymouth. Rowe doesn't just u24 league place
-
Oxford's team is 1 point below the limit and doesn't look weak
-
So is Connor Bailey and he also works for Allied but he's not at Glasgow. Tom Brennan is also a Glasgow asset
-
Jye Etheridge

There was a winter social event organised by the GTSG on the 1st December maybe the club were just trying to generate interest in that. Regarding building a solid team rumour has it you'll be disappointed.
-
Friday nights at Edinburgh didn't suit Josh Pickering's Polish commitments so unless he's given up on a Polish team place becoming available Saturday afternoon in Workington wouldn't be an option. James Pearson?
-
Not a lot of riders would fit in, yes they could have gambled on a 5 point foreign new rider but the only other options would have been Anders Rowe or Kyle Newman
-
2018 he blocked them from using Friday nights because it was restricting his choice of guests. They now race at Northside Arena, Derwent Park is the rugby stadium.
-
Because Rob Godfrey doesn't want them racing on a Friday.
-
Does Leon not still qualify for under 21 events next year? If not sure he'd be in contention for under 24 events.
-
So 4 reserves around 4 points, so 2 in the main body of the team. Then a rider who averages 5 points away from Berwick as our Third heatleader. Hope the rumours are wrong. Cannot see that team making the playoffs.
-
You might be right for the long term but for 2024 I'd take Claus or Leon, based all the times I've seen them ride.
