  1. The presentations and Ben fund were scheduled for the interval. It was announced there was going to be a 10-15 minute delay while Tom was assessed by the doctor, so these were brought forward. The presentations were held up awaiting Basso coming on to the centre green (he was doing the Ben fund collection), at which point Tom came across the centre green heading to the changing room and was able to pick up his award.
  2. Presentations and Ben fund collection took place while there was a stop in racing as Tom was being assessed by the doctor.
  3. You haven't been at Ashfield and been royally entertained by Benjamin Basso each week. Richard hasn't ridden for Glasgow since 2017 and is now southern based so wasn't going to ride for the club, all they were going to get were loan fees. Basso signing for Bydgoszcz in 2023 might mean he will not be back at Glasgow next season but Premiership club will still want him so Glasgow could get loan fees for years and years.
  4. Surely next Wednesday, they've got 3 home meetings to fit into 4 weeks. Or do they think they have the right to stage the second leg?
  5. At Poole last November in the Playoff Final 56-34 also lost by the same score in the 2021 league fixture. Signed 2 Poole riders to try and improve our chances, both have done well this season but same old story in the playoffs.
  6. Hardly hindsight, the forecast a week ago said dry until Sunday evening and didn't change all week. Why the start time wasn't moved forward to the afternoon is baffling.
  7. Paul Starke should know better. You could see what was going to happen, he went into bend 3 too fast and out wide in the deep shale. The other 3 riders had no problem with the lap they completed
  8. How have Glasgow turned down several fixtures over the past 7 weeks? The only fixture they have turned was a Jubilee meeting at Leicester, which was only offered after Nick Morris was out of Polish playoffs and Glasgow had an injury crisis
  9. That'll be the dates that were reserved for NDL fixtures but suddenly became available when Nick Morris's Polish Div2 team got knocked out of the playoffs.
  10. Glasgow and Redcar get better racing in my opinion. Belle Vue does seem to have some home track advantage, even good teams have been hammered there this season.
  11. 8th 0.191 seconds slower than the faster time. And he fell off in one session
  12. Fact he was using a banned drug. Even it was prescription pain meds he was putting others at risk competing when he shouldn't have been. Seems to have got off lightly, what deterrent is this to other riders?
  13. What about as an alternative, the site to the west of industrial estate,? Near the motorway. I had thought original this was the site not the forest next to a factory. Is there an issue with this site? Next to a motorway and a railway line noise isn't going to be an issue
  14. Ice hockey is on in Glasgow tonight - Clan v Fife Fyers @ Braehead
  15. It's actually been a month since either had a home meeting Glasgow 5th August Leicester 6th.
  16. Don't think that matters believe he's also failed the B test. The hearing is just to decide on the punishment
  17. Surely Poole wouldn't want hold up the semi-finals and all those other competitions they've got to race?
  18. What's Plymouth's alternative race night? Long range forecast for next Tuesday doesn't look good. Looking at the forecast Friday or Saturday seems the best options.
  19. I would have gone Kolodziej more but you're probably not far out. Ellis less is the obvious bet But my final £10 will go on Lebedevs more
  20. Chris Harris's September average is too high to guest for Plymouth or in place of Worrall. Isn't there a rule that a rider cannot ride for both sides over the two legs? So Scott Nicholls can either ride for Plymouth on Tuesday or wait on a Steve Worrall fitness test for Wednesday as his average is too high for either to use away.
