Not been on here for a while. Come back on and it’s the same old people moaning the same old things! Constantly! Over and over. If it wasn’t real it would be comedic! Keep it up sad acts!!!! X

Charging for the parking has pissed me off a bit. I’m not one of the guys who moans often and I don’t value the oppinions of those who don’t go but moan daily as equal to those that attend regularly. So don’t get this post mixed up with those guys. This is an attendance increase. The car park isn’t owned by a 3rd party so it’s a bit of a con really. I suggest nobody parks in the car parks until the charge is lifted. It’s only full when we have the big meetings. Charging a hidden charge like this will alienate current fans. If your going to make an increase then do it as the admittance. Its a bit of a slap in the face for the regular attendees. I’ve not read it myself yet though so if it’s a misunderstanding then all is ok. If it is real though then it’s pretty delusional. I can take the slow anouncemnts even though itsucks the fun out of it. I can take the poor entertainments meetings as it’s sport not entertainment. I can even take the ridiculous tractor grading to keep the track in great condition. but charging for the car park is a spit in the face really as it makes the poor value for money product that speedway is as even less value for money. Terible choice. It’s another straw on my camel back. deflating

It’s not a Chapman thing anyway. Buster used to tell the fans at a press conference style meeting every December. It may not have been a full team but it was certainly everything that had been inked. This drip feeding has started since robin brundle has joined. He’s got a lot right but the drip feeding and the stars “anthem” are 2 things that do annoy me. I think his intentions are good. With the uni link up and fitness regime thing as a moving forward of the sport in the uk. I also think buster cops a lot of harsh stick. But isn’t that always the way in any form of anything that holds a leader/chairman. I think the difference over the last ten years is social media and the view that every bodies oppinion matters. . . It doesn’t. We all have platforms now to talk crap when we don’t hold positions to do so. Like it or not. Buster is a doer. Not a talker. And they are the people who make things happen. Us drips on forums don’t.

I think Kerr and Jorgensen could be the only ones there with a chance of missing out iversen dependant

Peterborough Panthers 2019
Danny Connor replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The idea hopefully is that somebody else takes Peterborough and Ipswich on. This thing with buster can only work as a stop gap else it all loses all credibility.. It’s a very depressing time to be a speedway fan in this country. Something that was great and is now barely a shadow of itself.. reminds me of the Micky rauke character in the wrestler. there is no finger pointing. You either fancy speedway or you don’t. That’s the long and short of it. No matter how much star dust you throw at it all. I don’t like rugby. No matter how well you look at changing it that will never change. As a lover of speedway. It’s like the family dig that’s Ill and there is a choice to make this sport as it is still appeals to me. I’m glad buster saved the top league but somebody else needs to run these teams -
Kennet tungate garity I hope

Gradings were terrible last time. Either system riders lose out. At least averages are a fairly fair reflection of a riders ability. team building to averages used to be pretty fun too. Nowadays it's blighted by doubling up and rolling averages etc and assessed averages based on other leagues. But it's quite simple really if you have all riders assessed as either a 9 for gp stars, 6 for non Gp. 4 for non GP u21 it doesn't have to be hard.
-
here is my grey area with kasper. He has rode the right number of meetings if you add them together but in different leagues. This is unique really his average should be, Lynn meetings 2.55 joined in with his Sheffield meetings average converted to pl. If that works out as under 3 then he can't ride pl. if it's over he can. His average has to be 4 minimum regardless.

Not blindly, genuinely enjoy without too much of a gripe about the irks of a night at the speedway.

I'm not counting 50. I'm not even counting 10

No 1 person. its ok to have an opinion and many of us agree. Get the meeting tied up as close to 9 as possible. That's great. But the people who don't go any more and like to keep mentioning it as if they are important moaning about everything they weren't even there to witness sometimes after years. Knocking the team/ promotion at every opportunity. It gets annoying to read. Every poster should have an attendance record. Thanks for alerting that you don't attend though. I know to take it with a pinch of salt. Would be interesting to know what other regular attendees think. Do they really miss you. Do they even rate your opinions as even. I don't. But maybe I'm wrong I stand by it though. I take the opposite view. I'm so glad you don't come! Miserable buggers.

Crowds seemed to be holding up well enough without ya at Lynn compared to elsewhere. It's your choice. Enjoy your free night! A rotten apple spoils the bunch. No 1 likes toxic people!
-
Regardless of where in the Pe postcode he lives. He hasn't openly ruled out Great Britain and in the past he has gone on record as saying he likes riding as regularly as possible. Remember his stance on the Poland plus 2 league rule while he was also a gp rider? its 50/50 unless somebody has been told any different from the man himself. when are we due more news. Are we alternating press releases with our b team?
-
Not seen anything other than hearsay saying Niels won't ride in the uk next season. We had the same last year too. I'd go as far as to imagine it's 50/50 again
-
If we believed everbody "in the know" lambert would be at Swindon, cook would be at Swindon and we would have Doyle. I'm going with my own gut feeling that our top 3 will be the same as last season
-
Build your team differently then! You could set up with a team or riders who have points to prove. If it doesn't work out then riders become available mid season. Poole replaced on paper holder with Richie worall and sundstrom with Harris. Pre season if that was announced as a line up there would be an outcry. But goes to prove It's not doom and gloom yet
-
Nichols/tungate/ proctor gomolski lawson king allen Kerr thj auty If a name becomes available you can always shape shift where needed every rider here has a point to prove and that's where improvement comes from. Very strong reserves too Lots of 3-3s as I don't see too many last places
-
Lambert mpt iversen riss Jorgensen thj huckenbek if that fits that's my dream team
-
Why should lynn fans suffer. Jorgensen or proctor may become available. As should Kerr without both iversen and lambert spearheading then Lynn will no way be title contenders. As a lynn fan iversen riding for you guys is as unthinkable as kemp riding for us once his ave allows
-
Maybe he’s the best rider at the right wage on an average achieved in the 3:00 + bracket. Maybe, although not exciting enough. This could be a move to make room for another rider who does matter more. He could be the sacrificial lamb to allow a potent top 6. Team building could come down to .01 of a point. He could be the guy there to make the rest of the numbers fit until DRew Kemp is ready or another face fits?
-
Think it’s called narcissism. Actually it’s like spitting in the food that the majority are enjoying. As somebody who enjoys going to every meeting at lynn I find it insulting and it paints a bad picture of a sport that has imperfections but is still pretty good. It’s a consumer mentality rather than a fan mentality. And customers although wrong are told they are always right. On a forum like this. Although having gone to many more meetings as the guys that run the sport down, our ramblings are treated as equal even though they probably shouldn’t be and people always gravitate to negativity. Lynn is a good place to be. Room for improvement but I’m sure the negative posters own lives are very much room for improvement, like my own is too. I miss the days pre social media when the moaning was done in the terraces like it should be. This whole same faces sh*tting on every is sure getting old
-
Always comes back to the negative few with nothing better to do! The signing of rob is great news. It’s a good start. A few of the negative guys last year at this time were suggesting he would have to move on to improve . . . Niels is the most important link to this team now. A team with them as our spearhead gives me confidence in the big heats.
-
Your 2 announced signings so far are good. Every club has bratty fans. Just wait and see what happens. Something will turn up. Out of that provisional 6. Drop hartel. Sign Nichols/gomolski and a stronger bottom end rider then make changes mid season when riders do become available. Thj probably has a point to prove with all his doubters. As would tungate have. “ nobody wanted us and here is our chance” . Unfancied teams often end up ok. While a fancied team will struggle. The announced 1st 7 won’t be the final 7 for you guys
