  1. Post a heat of speedway off YouTube etc! Doesn't have to be a clasic. Don't give away the result of that race! If we want to know, we'll have to watch it (unless obvious). No more than 1 heat though! Keep it short and sweet! Just an idea to pass the time!
  2. It's not sustainable financially but delaying it enough will allow more people to be treated because more beds and nebulisers will be freed up. Less people will needlessly die and medical scientists will have longer to work out the best medicines to treat the symptoms. People have to continue getting this but it needs to be controlled like a tap. It sucks though because we will all be paying the financial burden of this for generations.
  3. As a milky we are beavering away. I act as if I'm already infected if that makes sense. I've been wearing gloves and changing them regularly (not don't this before) Washing hands where possible. Moving fast and keeping my distance. No talking to people. If I could get a mask I'd use 1 for the protection of others just in case. But somebody probably had 500 in a cupboard earmarked for ebay. In a few weeks time there will be mass casualties and people we may know dying without a goodbye and without a funeral. There will be TV helicopters following the convoys of dead body's as the country mourns. That's not scare mongering. It's very real. So I guess I've come to terms with.that in my own head. I'm at peace with the situation. Maybe we all could take that into consideration. That's your mum's, sisters, wives and possibly kids. Hopefully not though but realise it could be. I've made sure if stocks are low my vunerable customers get first dibs. It's not about keeping ourselves safe. Forget about us. It's about not passing anything we may not know we have to healthy or sick people. It's like I'm working in isolation. We should all be considering this .... and if your not there is no reasoning to it. You would be a massive C word
  4. Yes. This 1 last meeting before the forthcoming doom! I really hope it's on.
  5. When was the Erik Riss chat. Last night or next week. I'm a bit behind on speedway news
  6. I'm glad actually if it is him because he's enthusiastic in his posts and is clearly a fan. He hasn't been sucked into the negaativity vortex that alot of the people who post on here have! Well done on building your business from nothing! And well done stars for attracting a loyal supporter as a sponsor.
  7. Slicker track should mean much better racing if that international was anything to go by. That was a thoroughly entertaining meeting!
  8. I think crump will average 6+. There are clearly a lack of riders wanting to ride in the UK. Given some time he will find his feet. It's an interesting signing but enjoy it! This is one of those signings where nobody knows what to expect. And thats the excitement of it.
  9. Wasn't much publicity for this. Im a bit behind with my speedway star but didn't realise it was on. Else I would have gone.
  10. Gets tedious though. It was strung out long enough. This team is alright! I'm glad cook and Lambert are in. And riss. The rest all have a point to prove and that's never a bad thing. They should have announced it at a gathering told some anecdotes. Got all the current fans buzzing. Drip feeding it isn't really looking after the current fans. This sport won't be packed with fans ever again so look after the ones that are there. Give us a night out with names being announced. It's personable. Reading it on news sights doesn't really do that for me. But that's just my opinion on it.
  11. Doesn't need to be a world great. A nice consistent rider who enjoys riding in Britain will do. On the height thing. Dobrucki was a very tall rider and whilst no elite world beater I believe he was a rider very much respected in Poland. If we find a rider who ends up being a 3rd heat leader dependable 6/7 points home and away kind of guy it isn't a bad thing. Now considering what Kasper could do in some of his away meetings. A slicker home track may make him into a very useful rider for us. I want him to be our number 7.
  12. I very much warmed to thj when he rode for us before. Mad as a box of frogs on track but very gentlemanly off it. Full of effort and such a shocking style! Please please please!
  13. Hope we keep cook! However bech says he's signed in the UK for next season. What other team would hold his announcement back
  14. The sooner they announce the team the less scrutiny. Nobody is questioning Jorgensen or Kerr as it's done now. Unless they plan on signing a world elite star it's pointless hanging it off as it gets the doubters scrutinising. I'm glad Lambert is staying. Does cook riss proctor and Toft not fit
  15. Swindon and Sheffield have put out pretty big statements of intent. Would be nice to have one of our own
  16. I have a feeling Chris holder could be at Ipswich. Based on nothing. Sure puts a bit of spice in the darby
  17. I'm a bit sad not to have pedersen. That's an impact signing. Fond memories of Nicki going back some 18 years. Would have been a fitting way to close the book.
  18. Jealous if this signings. When on form he's exciting on track when off form he will be entertaining in the pits biggest signing in the league since sayfutinov at coventry all them years ago
