  1. Does this Include the rider assets out of interest. There were some useful assets on Frosts books!
  2. Scornicki had been out of speedway for some time and had his average reduced. Is there a possibility that maybe a Pl 5 pointer from 2-3 years ago may get an average reduction?
  3. I wish somebody had asked him if he thinks he has what it takes to challenge for the number 1 jacket! Id love to see him pushing himself be better than holder. renew that old rivalry from the old days! A bit of a challenge there! Something to prove! maybe unlikely but be cool if he was to prove people wrong!
  4. I stuttered over my words to try to ask why the riders didn't club together and rebel over the polish 3 league rule but i don't think it really came across right. i guess out of the riders there it only had the potential to effect Porsing at some point. If none of the gp/sec riders signed polish contracts I'm pretty sure the rules would have changed within a month. Glad we have holder though! i have a good feeling about him and troy! Shame to lose Neils but Holder is a pretty cool replacement! It would be nice if he enjoys it and in 4-5 seasons time we are talking about another lynn legend! He didn't seem to pleased about the way it worked out with the Poole scenario so who knows!
  5. Maybe I'm playing devils advocate a little bit. You could say the same for Eric Riss in the 2nd string and reserve position too though and he is looking to double up. Milik (i think). Poole haven't Announced Newman yet either. these all have similar averages! Its a shame Roses average is as high as it is because in my opinion there are other riders out there! i hope we stick with him because i like him! He's a tryer and comes across as a nice guy. local too. Give him a chance to push on and improve. I hope I'm proved wrong and he ends the season with a 6+ average because i feel the others i mentioned would. But that would be 3 riders signed who can score both low and high! i really hope we sign a couple of strong heat leaders, lambert and bailey/other young prospect Neils/holder Rose? Lambert Porsing Cook Huckenbeck Bailey. if fits/ if not then drop rose
  6. I like rose but not 6 plus.id like him more on a 5 . I can't see him being a good consistent 2 nd string or when he drops to reserve I can't see him being a meeting winner. But he's a local lad so why not I guess. I've got a mate on my bend who always rates Kenneth Hansen. I don't really see it myself though. You are as good as your results and to me. His average in the old premier league says it all. He may improve at Peterborough but I don't see him being a much better rider than inconsistent 2nd string in the top league. Inconsistency is actually the thing that worries me slightly already with Kai and Porsing. We need some solid reliable heat leaders now really.
  7. I don't think I've seen a suggested line up without Kai on it. Pretty sure everybody wanted him back so it's great news! Fingers crossed for some reliable heat leaders!
  8. Yes but I don't think I see him last season live. I may be wrong though. I only got to the Lynn home meetings and 2 away. When I have seen him live it's been mainly guesting the odd time in the el. Or guesting on the tv. maybe I've just not seen him at his best yet. I guess come march and April we will see. Was he your first choice with the points that were left? Do you think he will achieve a 5 point average in this league. At least it's a British registered rider being given a chance. For that I wish him well.
  9. I don't wish to pry into somebody else's team. But when I look at your top 5 it seems quite impressive. Id just be a bit disappointed with the signing of Branford. It seems your now going to have 2 weak reserves all season. Had you gone with a 2 point fodder and a 5.? Rider then suddenly you have at least 1 decent reserve pushing Robson . Would Lyke have fit the bill? I didn't see Branford ride much last season so maybe my view is outdated but I can't see many 3 point riders who would do much different to a 2 point novice that haven't already been written off on this page.
  10. If it was another sport it could be seen as a conflict of interest but it's speedway. 8-9 teams in the top league beats the alternative. I'm sure if the buster thing is true then it's not seen as a long term arrangement. Get the ball rolling correctly and make it attractive ready for a new custodian to take control. That's the best outcome. No doubt people who watch the sport but like to also bury the sport will bitch, moan and molest it all into a massive negative, but it's not. It's probably the best thing that could happen out of the whole situation. I get sick of how people always find negatives. If we were all picking out the positives and the reasons we all do go to speedway then the sport would have a much better chance of surviving and maybe making a profit. Tell, your friens those reasons, not the b s. This story isn't a negative it's the biggest positive the Leicester fans could probably have. If its true then I'm really happy that another club will be secure for at least one more year! I'm happy for the fans of Leicester because if my club was facing closure then I'd be distraught!
  11. Well. If a rider wants a place to work over here but nobody else wants him then that 0 percent probably grows a little. I like the pair of them but they are are both really inconsistent riders. And us being loyal fans we probably remember the good performances more than the poor. If they don't want to ride for us it's no real loss with the new building rules. Unless they were owed money what I really doubt then I don't see why they would have a problem. You don't get dropped if your doing an amazing job.
  12. Since 2000. i didn't even know the sport existed until i was 15! if i had then i would have been hooked much sooner! I was there for the Nicki era where he was the only real consistency towards the end of the Wagstaff era! Ulamek, McGowan, Tom p, Freddie Erriksen etc! Would be a fancied team probably with this new team building limit (i gist). then the premier league! as much as it was enjoyable to be dominant, teams turning up with riders who couldn't even slide the thing did make it a bit chorish at times to view. We look back remembering the positives but there were so many 1 sided meetings that the move back to the EL was amazing. Seems like the last couple of years its been easy to lose that buzz at times though. Topinka, Doolan, Nermark, Tacey etc! Loved watching Tacey! Once he mastered the track! And now its Neils who holds my affection! Id love for him to ride this season but doubt he will! Id build a team with 3 solid heat leaders and 1 solid reserve! 2 point number 7! My preferred team! 1 Neils/holder 2 Porsing * 3 Lambert 4 what fits 5 Cook/Kylmakorpi 6 kai 7 give a young 2 pointer a chance and if we struggle sacrifice him! Problem is Neils is unlikely. our problem in the past has been inconsistency! its always that 6-7.5 bracket (unconverted) (Batchelor, Schlien, Bjerre, Lambert, Milik, Mads, and even magic) so to build a team around riders of that average that and call it strength in depth, to me just comes across as inconsistency in depth. I think because of this new limit though there will be a lot of inconsistencies in teams what should make it an unpredictable season (minus poole running away with it) Id have as many consistent riders as possible! if they are snapped up though maybe consider Bech, Mrozka, Gomolski, Museliak, Lawson?, Masters, . At a fee though probably! thats the difference between now and 15 years ago though! we are talking price before we talk averages it seems All this is just opinion though for what its worth! feel free to shoot it down in pure forum fashion!
  13. I hope wolves played hardball and have sold klindt rather than loaned him out. I'd be heartbroken in I was you guys. . . . . And to them too!......
  14. Suddenly Poole look good again. I'm disappointed they signed klindt. If wolves have agreed a loan deal there then more fool them. He was the main rider on a steal of an average.. What would a rider like cyfer come in on. And other foreign riders new to the league. I think gomolski would do a decent job on a big track like Lynn. Maybe like a Cook Porsing Lambert Rose Gomolski Kai Lambert Not my ideal team I'd rather a big hitter at the top and 1 weak reserve.
  15. It's the anominity of the Internet that makes all this a joke. I've never understood why people never use their real names on things like this. When people give it all the big talk pretending they know everything as fact or constantly squabbling over pointless stuff it makes me laugh. Spotty pale skinned kids that never see much daylight comes to mind! Ive only just joined to see the ideas of who people want in their teams and what people think of the signings. I've quickly learnt its full of idiots on here. I'm a Lynn fan for 16 years now! 4th bend and big enough to see! No hiding and fully accountable for anything I type I'd like to see a good strong number 1 . A Neil's or holder, I know they won't maintain the averages set but no team is likely to maintain 50 so it's a redundant argument really, I'd like a 2nd good heat leader like a cook. With lambert too that's a solid top 3. A strong reserve is also important so Kai . But I'd sacrifice the number 7 to make up for it elsewhere. Leaves 1 place to fill. Klindt? Lyke? Not many attractive 5-6 point riders out there really but in fairness they would be likely to fall to reserve pretty fast Let's hope for a good season
  16. Im pretty sure that once team spots start to vanish in other teams plans then all of a sudden it becomes harder for a rider to hold a grudge. Rory was dropped because he wasn't up for the job last season. Lets be honest. Most of us were saying this. Its a team sport not a charity and were were still in for a playoff shout. It doesn't mean we didn't wish him well. Mads was dropped harshly in comparison. riding as a heat leader in that format. If he was wanting to ride in the uk and kings lynn was the only team after him. he would be back. thats speedway. If i was jobless and the only job that was available to me was where i had been fired before then id take it! Its money
  17. Here is my team for 2016 if it fits 1 Neils/Holder if neils opts out 2 Klindt 3 Lambert 4 Musielek/Milik 5 Cook 6 Huckenbek 7 2 point fodder (bailey/stokes/jpb/smith etc) 3 good heat leaders, 2 good 2nd strings and 1 good reserve! I don't expect to see this team however because I'm sure it will be far too expensive! team id expect to see 1 Holder 2 Porsing 3 Lambert 4 Rose 5 Batchelor 6 other lambert 7 huckenbek i think this team will have inconsistencies. I hope we don't opt for a team without at least 2 consistent heat leaders! 6-7.5 point riders (unconverted) are always inconsistent. look at previous seasons! Frustrating!
  18. You can still have a team with 2-3 quality heat leaders and 1 strong reserve plus a token 2-3 point rider Something along the lines of Neils/holder, Klindt, Lambert, Muselak, Cook/kk, Huckenbeck, Bailey. Thats a very strong (probably very expensive) title winning team imo There are lots of ways to add up to 50! The problem with the strength in depth approach is 6-7.5 average riders are always inconsistent. 12 points 1 meeting 4 the next. Troy/Rory/Mads/Magic/Bjerre/Milik were all frustratingly inconsistent for us as can lambert also be at times. If your building a team with inconsistent riders then it will probely be another frustrating season! 2 strong heat leaders and a strong reserve means the other 4 riders will only probably have to score 15-20 points between them to win a meeting.
  19. Team I would love to see! Niels, Lambert, Cook, Klindt, Museilak, Huckenbeck, Bailey/JPB/Smith Team i expect to see King, Lambert, Troy/Bjerre, Porsing, Kerr, Rose, Huckenbeck. My main bugbear with riders on EL averages (unconverted) between 6-7.5 are they are often so inconsistent! 1 meeting 12, the next 3. and this is what wins and loses meetings. And i think this has been our problem over the last few years. Mads, Magic, Bjerre, Troy, Rory, Milik! it will be interesting to see how this next season pans out. with most of the Consistent top scorers gone there could be some really mental results!.
