Refereeing Cock-up At Swindon V Belle Vue Ko Cup

I do hope that you are right. -
Should be charging £25 so that they could put the extra income towards the mythical new stadium.

So this is how the BSPA run the sport? Are "matters of fact" so very different to "as a matter of fact"? Because as a matter of fact the reserve replacement in heat 12 was illegal. How does the heat result then become a "matter of fact"? Is that why it stands? And DID Craig Cook present a medical certificate to the referee? -
There Can Be Beauty In Simplicity...

The BSPA has evolved over many years and like all processes of evolution, things become more and more complex and are loved and enjoyed ( internally ) as being so intricate. That is why the rule book is such a glorious thing. -
Hurray! I will be watching and listening closely to see if enough changes are made to KLS to tempt me back to Saddlebow Rd. in 2018

GRW 123 wrote " but for the true followers of the Sport, this year has been a massive turn-off. Its all too easy to point fingers, but the fact remains, the Club made some bad decisions. The way the fans are kept in the dark, and taken for a ride, amounts to contempt of the highest order. Yes, we have to move on, but not before we have learnt from these bad times, ensuring they never happen again" AND I totally agree with him about the above and his excellent critique of the riders who should Go and who should Stay. However I fear that with the same promotion it is obvious that no lessons have been or will be learnt. There is no willingness to learn and that is the only way that progress can be made. Whoever really made those bad decisions ( wether Lyon, Allit or Chapman ) appear to show little sincere concern about the future. Without a new Promoter I just can't see things changing - even if the sport is re-structured yet again under Buster's leadership of the BSPA. The "massive turn off" referred to has certainly been true for me personally and after attending for all of the KLS seasons since they started at Saddlebow Rd. I am most unlikely to go next year.

Swindon - Belle Vue Koc 1st Leg 14.9.17
waytogo28 replied to A ORLOV's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
No clear rules and no-one interested in implementing the ones that do exist. Same Old, Same Old BSPA style of "organising" speedway. Sadly, the slide down the pan will continue. -
So, will the BSPA finally address the problem of D/U or R/R & guests in 2018 or are we going down the Chairman's route of more guests as and when needed?
-
Buster's reputation for Big Big News being upheld. Except - is fit or the Premier League or the Championship? But of course only Buster knows or has a good idea of which league ( or both ) the Stars could ride in.

Of course it could be a Bilbo job!

Do We Still Need The Play-offs

The Top Team should be the League Champions. -
But moving to where else in Poland for 2018?

Rob McCaffrey wrote - re evening newspapers " The spiral gains momentum and standards disappear. Remind you of a sport? " Indeed the problem of evening newspapers does remind me of a sport, the one most of us don't want to see fade away down the spiral any further - but what choice do we have or part to play in it, other than to pay at the turnstile? As for newspapers, well as smartphones are now almost universal and when the last of us ( me inc. ) "my phone's a phone and it can send texts" types have exited the planet the "glass" will be the only way to get / give information. They will be embedded before long to save you carrying them or dropping / forgetting them. Or will there be swing back in some way?

Oh Yes! A new Promoter with a great interest in "promoting" KLS & speedway in general. And one who thinks the fans are a really important part of the club.

Rye House V Kings Lynn / Kings Lynn V Rye House

You will then eventually get a refund through the post, if Nathan is not having the winter off. That was also all over - as this is by noon. It's the forecast rain that might now trip up the meeting. -
Agree with all of this as I feel they do add a lot to my enjoyment of any meeting. But oddly the dirtometer really amuses me as he is after all only making a comment on the state of the track with his invaluable tool. I want to know where can I get one? Is Briggo marketing them now? As for the coverage the BT Player is an excellent service where you can watch all of the meetings ( and without the commercials!) 9 /10

Also back in the mists of time I remember Ove Fundin's daughter riding in one of the indoor Wembley meetings.

Definitely a ploy to get the terraces fuller. Those who study the "history" of Buster will know that what he regards as Big Big News is rarely anything but. If not a re-signing of Robert Lambert then yes, Jorgensen's transfer. Nothing more significant.

Not only is it super windy now, heavy showers are forecast for mid afternoon. Doesn't look likely to be on or to be a positive racing end to such an miserable season ( to quote Buster's own words ). -
I want it to be something along those lines but I cannot see either of these predictions being correct. It would need such a enormous about face for Jonathan to return and I don't think that NKI will ride in the UK again. My best most likely wish list is for Robert Lambert to agree to 2018 and for Rob Lyon to be fully involved once more in the running of KLS. You are right GRW123 that nothing structural can be revealed so I suspect that it is unlikely to be a Huge Surprise. Fingers crossed.

But you will likely still get trolled by HJD who is an "angry young man" . I think he also has another alias on here. -

Buster is shrewd and well known for it. Should be No Charge admission for the RH double up rain off tickets. -
Pleased to see that eventually it has been confirmed that there is at least a partial refund on offer to those who attended either D/H. Also happy to see that it is not the infamous fiver for those who lost out on the Rye House match. Lets hope that Buster's smile on the website means that he will go on considering fans throughout 2018 and beyond , or even putting them first and making sure they do not feel like mushrooms ever again.
