2016 was the first year for a long time that Edinburgh were below par from the start of the season. Are they being financially prudent or will there be some big changes for next year?

Good signing in Grajczonek. Potentially now play off contenders.

I have always had respect for Craig and this year he has gone through some tough times . My opinion of Craig has continued to reinforce that he is very honest person who will pull no punches at analysing the situation and telling it as it is. Good luck in 2017. I hope he will return to Belle Vue and has a good Championship team to go to as well.

Speedway Question Time At The Nssc
Gunner85 replied to oleoleole's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Good luck and I hope it works out. Hopefully it will concentrate on moving forward rather than playing blame games -
The key is the NL is meant to be a development league and therefore the rules should be encouraging teams to have more young riders and not fill up with experience in order to win the title. you need some experienced riders to pass on knowledge to the young ones. A low team average encourages development of the younger riders.

Good news finally made public. Best of luck in 2017.

Good luck in your 50th season and hopefully a new era for Berwick Speedway. -
The Leicester fans must be despairing.....started 2016 with a side that was destined to be bottom and now little info coming out re 2017. I hope that the new promotion can step things up from the DH era and move forward

Agree with loyalty to riders from last year where possible and it is important to have a competitive team.

Unless things have changed Williamson is a Wolves asset and they might want him as second reserve ?

I feel that there is a lot more yet to be made public re the goings on in 2016. The most important thing is to secure new promoters for 2017 and it seems that the Council and The BSPA are working towards that. Equally so there is a lot to be shown as either truth or fiction regards much of the comments on this site. -
Max Clegg rode in 3 leagues last year. Stefan could and boost his earnings..... and yes he has talent and I hope he fulfils it.

If Worky could afford Cookie , it would be a massive boost and go a long wait to bringing back good crowds.
-
All systems go ! Good luck in 2017. I will be coming as often as the weather forecast lets me.

Hope to hear some good news soon re 2017

Could Harris be the new no 1 ?
-
Patrick Hougaard is one of our assets.... would be a good signing on his average.
-
Local riders from the grass track scene could be a good path to take.
-
Could Cookie be doing the reverse journey to Workington ?
-
Good luck Scott. He is one of the all time greats in terms of racing ability. Without a doubt the best away rider around Kirky Lane....one of the very few that could take Jason Crump from the back .

The Plymouth supporters should get behind whichever promoter comes in. Survival is the most important aspect Next step is progression and stability I hope to visit again next year
-
The important signing is a good no 1 and I hope they make a good choice and have a long duration in the top league.
-
Sensible move to maximise Saturday meetings and Bank Holidays. Good luck in the Premiership.
-
Sincerely hope Simon Lambert is back next year.

Pleased to see Matt has signed.... I know how much he enjoys racing at Derwent Park. Hopefully , worky will sign a good no 1 to set the ball rolling.
