His Speedway knowledge is minimal and embarrassing at times. I don't know why he was given a second chance. No loss here

Could The Uk League Run On A 4tt Basis
Gunner85 replied to Hawk127's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Denmark and Germany have run leagues containing 4 teams in a league match . Non starter for me. -
Hope Justin Sedgman is ok and the ambulance ride was precautionary. Crash looked horrific.

Well done Leicester. Patel will hopefully step Leicester in the right dir cation.

Nichols and Harris both good exponents of the Wolves track. Now Kenneth has gone they are definitely stronger. Could be close.... hope the racing is good and BT SPORTS are kept happy

Speedway World Cup 2017
Gunner85 replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
The Poles are likely to dominate the World Cup for a number of years. Sweden have 3 very experienced riders who are ageing..... no signs of young Swedish riders coming through that may compete at the hoghest level. Denmark have good young riders but nobody who looks likely to dominate in the SGP. Team GB have riders who have very limited European experience apart from Chris Harris. -
Speedway World Cup 2017

When a rider , in this case Batchelor, drops a point on purpose then not only should he be disqualified from the race but he should be fined heavily for bringing the sport in to disrepute -
Speedway World Cup 2017
Gunner85 replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
First 8 races were a little pedestrian. The last 12 made up for it with some great racing. chuganov was definitely not chug chug chugging along .. brilliant display for a17 year old. Delighted for Russia... they deserved it being a man down and winning the meeting. I know the doping results were known on Wednesday... but when was the actual offence ? -
British Youth Championship 2017

Pleased to see that Belle Vue now have a round scheduled for Sat 5th August. The meeting last year was really good with the youngsters handling the big wide open spaces very well. -
Speedway World Cup 2017

Leszno is my favourite track in Poland and I am hopeful of seeing two great meetings. Team GB will go there and give it everything they have got. -
I cannot see any future prospects with Stoke until the present promoters get out and let someone take over. I agree that Loomer road has potential when a new broom sweeps through. I used to love going to Stoke when John Dews was in charge of the track and I regularly enjoyed good racing as he was a great track man.

Speedway World Cup 2017
Gunner85 replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Nobody would have taken a bet for Denmark to go out on a run off. Great racing on a really good track.... riders using all parts of the bends and gaining an advantage unlike King's Lynn on Saturday Most enjoyable -
He is the only rider to have won a race at Hyde Road , the greyhound track and the NSS !!

Sadly topping the table does not guarantee winning the league as seen last year and on other occasions. Belle Vue have a good side which is capable of taking the title.... Wolves are the Aces biggest rivals. -
Poole V Belle Vue Bt Sports 26/6/17
Gunner85 replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Pleased with the result. One good race otherwise an appalling advert for Speedway. Track dreadful.... even admitted by one of the Poole riders. -
Good luck to Justin.... maybe he will get a premiership side to take him on . Let us hope Rohan can benefit from his time at Belle Vue.

New Averages For 42 Point Limit
Gunner85 replied to DunRobin's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
New averages only come in once all 7 riders have completed 4 home and 4 away as far as I am aware. -
What Makes A Good Speedway Track?
Gunner85 replied to steve roberts's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
A track prepared to allow good entertainment with plenty of passing. -
Ford once again dumps a loyal Poole rider and lets Kyle go. Holder leaving Poole will probably be the best thing that has happened to him in recent years. Loyalty is a two way concept... hope Kyle finds a better home

The fixtures were completed before Belle Vue Speedway 2017 was up and running. However they should have complained straight away and insisted on moving the fixtures. In fact Belle Vue are racing in 3 matches on Saturday since a Belle Vue select is racing at Berwick for Kevin Doolan's testimonial. that makes 2 Belle Vue selects riding on Saturday

The National Stadium On Google Earth.
Gunner85 replied to pvm's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
There certainly was banking on the track..... the question is how much ? -
The National Stadium On Google Earth.
Gunner85 replied to pvm's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
The new track is 10 m wide on the straights and 17 m on the bends. Th e banking is 8 % but it can be moved up to a max of 10 %. I would like to know how much banking was on the old Hyde road.
