Sad that you cannot even get a mini bus up for Friday. Hope that someone comes in over the winter to take over.... it would be very sad if we lost Birmingham again.

British Youth Championship 2017
Gunner85 replied to a topic in Youth Speedway and Development Leagues
A good attendance for the Belle Vue round and a good meeting for those that. attended. Neil has done a great job and there are some talented U16s on the horizon. It bodes well for the future and I hope the BSPA not only continue their backing but upgrade it and go to another level. -
Whatever you think of Craig he is only 5 rides away from being. GP rider. I hope we see the real Craig during this month and get a BRITISH RIDER in the SGP. Good luck Craig in Togliatti.

I am confident that SKY are gone for good....too busy putting millions into football etc to entertain Speedway. It is being done a budget .... better that than none at all.
-
I am pleased to see BT coverage. I do wish that they would follow the race more rather than follow the leader. Frequently battles at the back are missed because they are following the leader.....In the old days BBC who rarely covered Speedway were guilty of the same camerawork.

British Youth Championship 2017

Echo these thoughts. A few races would have graced a normal league match for their entertainment. Well done Neil Vacher and the Belle Vue management -
If a team loses two riders through injury I assume they get guest plus rr ???

Sgb Championship Best Pairs 2017

The crowd yesterday would have been reduced as some people would have decided against going. When postponed approx 6.15 the car park was not full.... Talk of it being moved for the new date.... -

Plymouth V Belle Vue Colts, Thursday 20/07/17

There were riders warming their tyres at the gate. Clearly wiewable to me so therefore the ref should have seen it. I thought it had been banned -
Plymouth V Belle Vue Colts, Thursday 20/07/17
Gunner85 replied to BobC's topic in National League Speedway
I wish Plymouth all the best for the future and they can continue to have Speedway for many years to come. Track was very slick and the overalll quality of the racing was far inferior to my previous visits. Tonight was hug the line and hope not to make a mistake otherwise you were passed. -
Poole Pirates Vs Swindon Robins 19/07/17
Gunner85 replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
See KK is getting his ave down further After tonight's meeting he gets his new ave.... Kk stays with his new ave... who will be the next one out of the team. -
Riders use bikes that are much more powerful than in the past. They are the ones taking the risk so this topic is insulting to the riders. When a rider or riders consider the track conditions are not safe then they deserve our respect even if it means abandoning the meeting. Leicester this week where riders were withdrawn / injured makes me feel that the track conditions were dubious to say the least. Riders were picking up a lot of grip in parts of the track which caused problems.

Doyle riding in Sweden tonight. Taking the mick out of British Speedway..... missed. 3 British meetings since last Thursday.

Leicester Lions Vs Swindon Robins 17/07/17
Gunner85 replied to The Observer's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I gave up going to Leicester after only seeing one reasonable match re entertainment and 9 garbage matches. I will be interested to see if there actually has been any improvement in the track -
Good racing as expected. Aces were not good enough tonight.....Swindon deserve their win... Wilson Dean was very impressive
