Well Jack Parkinson Blackburn it is then... plenty of speculation pre announcement to suggest it probably was correct. Welcome Jack to the most famous club in Speedway

Anything that increases the number of rides juniors will get has to be a bonus. More track time equates to faster progress.
-
Any extra rides for the young ones has to be a big bonus and a step forward. The more track time , the faster they will progress
-
Two more brothers riding for Belle Vue. Harry and Sam should now reach for the stars and enjoy their journey through the ranks. best of luck to them both
-
Good call to split the BYC and put them as pre entertainment with two Friday school holidays Colts matches.
-
Both have plenty of potential for improvement.in 2021. so step up lads and do Belle Vue proud

£300m Summer Sport Recovery Package
Gunner85 replied to mikebv's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Speedway is still away from the limelight re Sport in Britain. I would be amazed if we received anything from the govt. -
Whenever a club changes nights there will be winners and losers.....I believe that supporters have been asking for Fridays as it means the kids are not in school the next day and therefore more likely families will attend on Friday . Hope this works.... I think Friday is a better night.
-
This looks a strong home team...lots of racers rather than riders. Good potential for 2021.. looking forward to the season
-
Great to the Colts riding on Fridays. I am sure the bosses will have a competitive team out
-
Hopefully Speedway in 2022

Good to see another young American starting a British career. Good luck to Plymouth in 2021
-
Kyle Bickley signing for the bullets is a very good start.
-
Sincerely hope the management can fit the fixtures in and we see the Colts in 2021

I went to Hackney v Belle Vue , the night before a Wembley world final. Typical Len Silver, he made the introductions of both teams and then made the following announcement..... if Belle Vue have 26 engine failures we will win !!!!!!!
-
Great to see Newcastle in the league. Good luck in 2021.... except when you meet the Colts !!!!!!!
-
Good news.. it is about time.... however as with this pandemic...nothing is set in stone..

Barry Briggs was quoted once as saying the following about Hyde Road..... if you cannot RACE at Hyde road you are no Speedway rider A quote to qualify what a super track we had at Hyde Road. Now we have ridden at the NSS for a while I believe that the NSS Is better than Hyde Road. One more quote about Hyde road from Hans Nielsen this time..... it is the only track where I can be leading going into one of the bends and one rider goes under me with another taking me on the outside coming out of the bend in3rd place

Is Jordan Palin ready for Championship speedway?
Gunner85 replied to DC2's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I am sure that Jordan will blossom this year with his experience in a Championship side.... Riding for Peterborough will be brilliant experience which will help his career. -
Two riders being announced at 1900 hrs today on facebook
-
signing Tom Brennan as a rising star is a great move. I do hope Jordan enjoys his year at Peterborough.....it will be a fantastic learning experience for him....but re 2021 Tom is the best signing. Jordan is a very talented rider and I am sure he will rise to the top... would love to see him at the NSS riding for the Aces at some time in the future.

Nygren and Fundin as the spearhead for Norwich in 1964 at Belle Vue was a great sight. Olle spent many years running training schools at King’s Lynn. My thoughts are with his family

A few seasons ago I saw Plymouth v Berwick whilst on holiday. With Berwick being a big track , I wondered how they would take to a small Plymouth track.it was an excellent meeting showing great racing. Like all tracks which create good racing , they still have to be prepared well for riders to show their talents off I saw the Colts a couple of season ago.... the racing was just about ok. With regards to Stoke, I used to go many years ago when John Dews was in charge of the track... indeed I would go regularly except when the Aces were riding away. Great racing and atmosphere. I stopped going when the last management team were in charge... track frequently in a poor condition..... Poor racing ensued with inevitable decision never to give Stoke another penny of my money... No regrets... plenty of good tracks around to venture to.
