Excellent entertainment tonight. All of the riders should be applauded for giving us the best GP this year and one which will be difficult to match.
-
The only way we can have one league in today’s Speedway is to dilute the teams sufficiently to make Speedway viable for all teams. It may mean saying goodbye to any SGP riders and allowing Britain to race on the night that suits each team.

BELLE VUE COLTS V KENT THURSDAY 01/ 08
Gunner85 replied to Gunner85's topic in National League Speedway
With all the rain prior to the start, it is a massive credit to firstly the track and secondly the riders and staff for getting the meeting on.. The same happened last year with the Stoke Match. As I have said before , going to The NSS is like being in Speedway heaven. -
the Cup match provided an excellent night’s entertainment and racing . Hopefully more of the same on Thursday

Two maximums for Jaimon one yesterday and one today. double delight well done
-
A maximum is still a maximum
-
Great to see Jaimon got 14 paid 15 at Krakow tonight. must be his best result in Poland well done Jaimon
-
he scored 9 in his first home match followed by 7 at the small Kent Circuit. A good start for the young man

I disagree Craig Ace. Kyle Bickley is our asset... so he should ride for us. I accept that riders need two teams ...and therefore there will be times when this happens....but why should the NL have to bow down all the time. At Least if riders were made to ride for the team which they belong to you could see more sense to it

I note that Kyle Bickley and Danny Phillips are missing as they have a Championship match. I accept that we can have guests but I want to see my team.... just confirms that the National League is a second class citizen within British Speedway.

Peterborough v Belle Vue - Prem Mon 15th July
Gunner85 replied to bigcatdiary's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
That is not the way I wanted us to win. The track was awful... no outside line of any consequence. Grippy inside line causing problems at the start of the meeting.... I like Charles Wright.... a great little racer... but he lost control.... how can that be all 4 back?? -

Is it any wonder that I am completely disillusioned with the way British Speedway s being run ? -
Scunthorpe v Eastbourne 28.6.19
Gunner85 replied to ScunnyDan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I have championed Scunthorpe as an excellent track for a very long time. The real issue is that he is now insistent that track grading is not necessary.... and that I totally disagree with. -

Appalling meeting at a track that has been high in my regards for a long time. Cannot agree with Rob’s mindset of not grading the track. He openly bragged that that was only the second time that the tractor had been on the track this season. I will not be back again -
The cut off date for July 1st averages was the 23rd June and therefore the King’s Lynn match will come in to the 1st August averages
-
Best wishes to Shane ... always an entertainer on the track
-
Attendance will suffer... lots of people avoid Loomer Road
-
Well done to Jaimon at Lublin for the WU 21... 8 points and reached the semis

Do you really think the promoter is going to drop his own son? Grow up. there are others in the team below par....
