If you listen to the aces agm on their web site, it implies that it will probably happen... and if it does then Swindon will be in a great position.
-
The present format favours a good top two. Now Swindon have Doyle and Batchelor.... and as in 2020 you can keep your 7 riders for 2021 ,then Swindon can sign young upcoming riders and ensure they have a strong side for many years to come
-
Certainly a good second string if his average fits
-
they have obviously abandoned the one rider over 8 points rule.
-
A big plaudit to Jason Doyle who continues to back British Speedway despite his busy SGP / European schedule . Shame other riders don’t follow suit
-
Steve w is a good signing for Poole. i am sure Poole will have a side challenging for the play offs and the league title
-
It has been for the last few years so I do not see why not? perhaps there could be a special memorial race for Peter Williams
-
A quick blast in to the past ....... by error
-
Rumours of Rye House joining the NL.... hope this is true Similarly a return of Buxton now Stoke has gone could pacify Stoke and Buxton fans
-
Pleased to see Scott has signed for Kent I am sure Len will have a competitive team in 2020
-
Hope Newcastle stay in the Championship league. good luck for 2020
-
Let us hope the NL can move forward next year with The real job of developing young British riders for the future
-
Another agm which does not take on the real problems of Speedway moving forward. essentially status quo and the promoters burying their heads in the sand once again. i despair with the BSPA
-
Phillips has been totally unimpressive at Championship level. His NL average is only 6.5... not that good considering how long he has been riding agreed ...not a good signing for Redcar
-
6 man races have been tried years ago. only tracks like Hyde road were safe due to the width of the bends..... others were positively dangerous with 6riders heading in to the bend and insufficient space to be safe. No gimmicks....4 riders .. 4 laps... on well prepared tracks
-
If GED is taking over then Newcastle will be in good hands. hope the rumours are correct .
-
Joining Wroclaw and lining up with Max has to be a good thing
-
At one time Sweden had the team average for the following season set by the average of the top 3 teams in the season just departed. Problem is that tends to raise the average over a long period of time. The greater the average , the more experienced riders required and consequently larger wage bills. Using the Green sheet averages , our limit should be 42 in the Premier league and the Championship league. The NL should be a training ground for younger riders and therefore an agreed limit

I am sure Matt has made the right decision for Poole considering the state of affairs as they stand now at Poole i do hope that so called die hards do not walk away because it is not the top league

Is Jordan Palin ready for Championship speedway?
Gunner85 replied to DC2's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Jordan attained a CMA of 9.45 re his league matches ... a superb performance for a 15 year old. Going into the Championship at reserve is a must... hopefully Godfrey will put a no pressure tag on him and let him progress at his own pace. A talented young lad who seems very level headed to me... -

This is the BSPA.... just further proof of the inane way they run the sport -
Dan’s ability shone from the word go.... track size made no difference.. He oozes talent.... Dan has had to overcome a mammoth injury this year and no doubts he gave it everything he could. He is the best rider I have seen since the emergence of Peter Collins
