Because he’s an initiating arse who I have little interested in engaging with, the type who trolls the forum and then expects logical, rational debate, regardless of "fact", speedway chat, fair or pleasantries with him...nah a prick who deserves to be mocked and ridiculed, since you asked.

Run along you bloviating twit.

Lasse Bjerre is value on that average – I think that for reason or another the last few seasons have been troublesome for him, injuries and not entirely convinced he has ever been settled at Redcar. I expect him to be a more confident rider this year racing on a Sheffield track where he performs well, and now in a team with his brother. He feels better value than a few PL riders who are moving up, I include the likes of Robson, Bellego and probably even Holder in that.
-
With Holder (Chris) in the side, you have the additional points on his average that he is basically going to lose 1.5ish – as well as the 1.5ish lost for team building purposes due to his excessively high average – whereas with KK he is likely to retain/drop slightly (his average that is the best part of 1.5ish lower than Holders and thus minimal loss compared to the 1.5 Holder will drop) as well as having an additional 1.5ish for team building purposes due to his (KKs) lower average, hence my feeling that KK in the side affords the best part of 3.00ish worth of average to the team that Holder (Chris) doesn’t. Other options with Holder, sure, restricted options though when compared to what would be available with KK in the side – an additional 1.5 for team building opens up a whole other world of options and affords the possibility of a rider the ilk of Newman (as an example) at reserve as opposed to a rider on a 4.00 average the quality of a Liam Carr/Simon Lambert – it means no Jack Holder and instead a rider the ilk of a Simon Lamert etc and so on.
-
Kings Lynn look to have a few riders who could really up/hold a good solid average in a watered down league – quite surprised to see Mads K in particular being oft overlooked, if he got a solid run of confidence he would be a pretty lethal 3rd heat leader in the league set up Also seems quite pointless not to give Huckenbeck another go – proviso being of course they want/are able to be here - sure the more informed will know of their situations Not a Kings Lynn rider but if it were me I would also be giving Bech Jensen a call – get his head right and confidence back, another who looks good value - again though same applies as above re logics of being here.

I don’t consider that a validation of your thought process or opinion in all honesty, harsh and arsey as that sounds - more so when the general concern is a lack of a big hitting number 1 if the side doesn’t have Holder given that in Kasparzak (if that is the route they go down) they will have that, a strong, big scoring Number 1….only Lindgren or Doyle (at best) can make claim to be genuine “stronger Number 1’s", a claim that could just as easily have been made had Holder been in the side - so the general worry re Holder doesn’t rack up. Other concerns then revolve around Holder being there to help his brother, well if Holder (senior) had been there his brother either likely wouldn’t have been, or would have had a hell of a lot more pressure on him than he will in the sides floated with Kasparzak. Chris over KK is the best part of 3.00 swing in team building, the 1.5 Holder will loose and the additional 1.5 on his average that couldn’t be used elsewhere in the team. I don’t think it is possible to build a side with Holder in it that would be stronger than a side with KK in it, if that is the route they go down….and given Matt Ford is going down that route it probably validates it given he has won, loads and loads and loads and generally tends to build really, really good teams - I say that as some one who is totally vanilla re Ford, but can clearly see he knows how to build a good side as evidence supports that claim. Holder in the side is a heart over head wish, there is very little actual logic to it.

I agree with the general gist of this but would say there is much between them, I would go as far as to say that when it comes to team selection there is an utter chasm between them (Holder and KK) and very few promotions would sell their season down the river out of “loyalty”, the loyalty a promotion has is to the fans and the club.
-
If Poole sign Kasparzak instead of Holder it proves absolutely nothing to me other than common sense.
-
Rye wouldn’t win enough races against that side or even take enough heat advantages of that side to enable them to “slaughter” them.
-
Well that’s a silly statement isn’t it…it will be known once the Somerset 1-7 is announced whether or not Pedersen is in the team or not.

Stead and Berge must be top, felt like they were getting about 3 5-1s a week at home for most of the season. -

They can’t - the point is moot at best for the time being for both sides either for or against where Berwick will be in the league – which I assume is why the general feedback from Berwick fans is happy, looks entertaining etc rather than any overblowing of the side and mentions of league wins or Play Offs. Those generally making predictions and comments re how poor/crap the side is are probably best served biding their time and seeing just where the standard of the entire league is before comments are made re crap, long tails etc – I assume most sides will have “long tails” as the league has been designed to ensure sides have “long tails” -
Sure, Ayres resigned and 10 point average, why no eh…

Not sure that makes sense to be honest? How can it be said it has a long tail without using other sides to compare? If other sides end up with longer tails does that shorten Berwick’s tail as probably happened with a side like Somerset last season due to their long tail actually performing like a short tail? -
The league is going to be watered down yes, but it feels like some Glasgow fans possibly underestimate Berge in particular as a result of circumstance rather than assessing him based on actual talent. He (Berge) qualified for the Under 21 World Championship, where he finished 4th with a comparable points total to Jack Holder (now in the Poole side) and scored MORE points than the likes of Adam Ellis and Erik Riss, both of whom are really talented young riders – and in Riss a rider not yet capable of racing to a 7.00 average in the PL – it does that afford a water mark of the talent required to hit 7.00 in even this league, it is not an easy average to reach. I think it is widely accepted Bewley is a talent, a rider going places, but there should be a far fairer sense of where he is going to end next season.
