  1. Especially when Adam Ellis who he came in for is a very good at ippo. Obviously they didnt know when they made the changes they’d have us in both finals but gotta say Ellis and Kerr would’ve outscored holder and the two guests in the two Foxhall legs by probably 10 points
  2. In fairness Hawkins concedes in his match report that the track was very tough last night - due to the bad weather Monday night track prep yesterday was very difficult. Louis said on the mic last night wasn’t his choice for the fixture to be moved to so any notion Ipswich doctored the track doesn’t hold weight, they’ve done the best they can in the situation that presented itself due to the weather conditions. As for lambert moaning, yep Hume should’ve been out, but in heat 1 he shouldn’t be moaning Emil was allowed back in after getting a huge shove from howarth and getting locked to lambert, frankly I think there’s probably only a handful of riders in the world in that moment that could’ve done what Emil did to avoid a huge huge crash, Robert lucky he wasn’t sat up in the diner yet he’s moaning Emil got back in the race?? also I liked Hawkins comment in his report that 13 out of 14 riders made the best of it and got stuck in and attacked the track in tough conditions…dunno who he was referring to? Any guesses hahahah weather was fine here the last couple of weeks btw and it’s wasn’t our meetings that hadn’t been fit in in time for the playoffs to be staged on the original dates. disappointed it’s not a bigger lead with Danyon throwing away points in several races but if you’d have offered any Ipswich fan an 18 point lead going into the second I’m sure we’d have all bitten your hand off for that.
  3. I hope you’re bringing your bottle of good jus jus and not the bad luck bottle haha
  4. Yeah as I say fits atm but depends on final season figures that may well increase. It currently fits with the 2.5 reductions, personally tho I think moving on from Erik to a younger up and comer on 5 average gives the team more scope for average improvement and upside.
  5. It’s common sense that if you can’t use guests from another team in the playoffs then once you’ve guested for team in the playoffs you can’t then guest bud or another. Similarly it would make sense for this to supersede the 8 day rule meaning Lawson could ride for Sheffield in both the semi and final for example.
  6. Ben’s the better rider right now but think Zach’s style and balance on the bike he has a higher ceiling career wise. A point less average wise too so a better fit for team building and went better than Ben at Foxhall this year. Our current team average isn’t much above 39, if that’s the same building limit next season will likely be a very similar looking side with just a couple of changes 1. Emil 2. z.cook/wojdylo/another new 5.00 3. King 4. Rew 5. Doyle 6. Hume/Dan T 7. Dan T/Joe T/Boughen/another
  7. Be happy if we took zach cook to Ipswich in 2024, better style then his older brother imo, 10+3 & 5+2 in his two visits this season
  8. I know you’re just a troll and I shouldn’t rise to it but Laguta has absolutely taken the P1$$ out of British speedway this year, turned up as and when he feels like, more than one occasion frankly he should’ve been handed a 28 day ban for withholding his services. Talented throttle jockey don’t get me wrong but his commitment to British speedway has no comparison to Emil and he’s shown the British fans a lack of respect imo
  9. Anyway back to the speedway! Chris Louis you beauty, Doyle and Emil are box office and it’s been a joy to watch them all season, reaching the final after winning the cup the icing on the cake, stick that in ya pipe and smoke it lemon hahaha
  10. Not really comparable in my book, one is bad luck the other a referee not doing his job properly doesn’t matter now anyway! Haha
  11. Baileys point for heat 2 Thursday when he clearly wasn’t under power could now win belle vue the tie
  12. Tbh Hume not the best at being shepherded, he’s fallen off with all three of king Doyle and Emil trying to team ride him home this season at Foxhall, he ends up riding faster than he can cope with
  13. You get 15 points for turning up, should be able to pick up a further 22 between 7 of em
  14. Is Connor Bailey fit to ride tonight? Was r/r for him yesterday at oxford
  15. I think Emil is a little quicker than Doyle but it’s hard to tell cos Doyley is usually slowing and pulling wheelies on the last lap if he’s in lead sometimes from the 3rd lap tbh hahah both are comfortably quicker than anyone else tho
  16. Disagree on fricke being good at Ipswich. He’s improved the past couple of years, had a big score last year and done ok this year but historically remember camo heeps passing him more than once in the same meeting
  17. I think he’s had bad injuries at the wrong times in his career too, the arm break in 2010 was a bad bad injury, didn’t look the same again until 2013 when he went toe to toe with woffy and once again got injured
  18. Kurtz has always been handy at Ipswich tbh, always wanted to get him here in his early days when he was first over with Somerset in the second tier, of his generation of the top Aussies Kurtz/holder/fricke he’s always been comfortably the best at Ipswich as an away rider
  19. Well after tonight’s result my Monday prediction before it got rained off doesn’t seem nearly as far fetched now!!
  20. So those watching the tv replays who came third in that? Because from the back straight it looked like rew got third comfortably
  21. If even this guy can see that how on earth can the ref not. fiddle gate 2023
  22. Agree, Rew will be back next year I’m sure, found his feet in the past few weeks should kick on next year
