  1. Wojdylo was a 5.00 this season so don’t think he’d be 4 next!
  2. Big fan of tarasenko, think wojdylo was only a 28 day visa as it was rushed through - he stated on tv coverage he wanted to do a full year in uk next season. Said his favourite tracks are small fast and grippy so Ipswich fits the bill perfect! I get what you mean about the type of rider - at personally think the Frenchman is rubbish haha
  3. Not for me, even when his home track was belle vue or Sheffield he blew way too hot and cold and inevitably went missing in big meetings. Think there’s an enough data on the likes of berge and bellego to just say they’re never going to show a consistent upside. much rather set about getting wojdylo signed up double lively for a similar/same average
  4. Bit harsh, they put together a great run of wins to finish the regular fixtures. irrespective of whether it was us that got in the playoffs or not I’m glad leicester have ended up with egg in their face for what they did to bomber tbh.
  5. It’s not just about age but experience, cook for example in his 3rd year in uk speedway, if rew is only a 4.8 rider in 3 years I’d be very surprised. in terms of the best young Aussie tag he is the current Aussie u21 champ - surely a good metric for that claim. currently 2nd in the sgp2 standings also
  6. Ben cook and jaimon lidsey are 5 & 4 years older than rew tho. How did Ben cook get on in the world u21 series 5 years back? Rew miles ahead at 20 on the continent, needs to sort his gating out big time in uk but his ceiling is closer to lidsey than cook imo. That said I like both the cook lads decent riders, be happy with either at Foxhall next year
  7. Fair comments in view of the two postponed meetings tbh. Not hard to have a wider view of what buster has done for the sport but also recognise the bs that’s gone on over the two meetings postponements.
  8. Tbh Laguta hasn’t ever looked like a rider that would be suited to tighter grippy technical tracks of the uk. he has fast equipment, good gater, loves a big fast slick track where he can just hang off it going flat out - he looked fast chasing king down at Foxhall the other week for Lynn but he was hanging so far off the bike when he caught a tiny bit of grip it just threw him off, watch Emil on the other his centre of gravity is always over the bike, races hard turns the bike hard and always in supreme control.
  9. We were discussing this at Foxhall Thursday, max rode his socks off all night but it must get disheartening sitting on the start with the like of Emil and Doyle either side of him in heat 13&15 and no genuine support from a teammate. He’s a top rider but max is always gonna get beat up trying to beat both on his own
  10. Definitely would like to see him at Ipswich next year! Ah fair one, I thought he was 4 hadn’t even looked being honest haha! erik nowhere near his old self, makes starts rides his one safety line round the inside of its enough to hold position he does it won’t move out to block someone or go round a slower rider in front of him
  11. Anyone know the circumstances of wojdylo dropping at pboro? Is it just simply the chance to get Laguta in? Or is he injured? id be drafting him in for Erik immediately if he’s available, rider in the up instead of the down
  12. It’s not tho it’s Harris and batch vs worrall and cook cooks confidence has been shot for several seasons now not nearly the rider he was, very little gain if any bringing him in over batch and worrall isn’t as good as bomber and I certainly know which rider I’d want in my team come the play offs, I like worrall he’s a good rider but I’m sorry he’s not bombers level
  13. Dropping Chris Harris to bring in Craig cook is truly baffling
  14. If Emil wants to be back along with Doyle next year then we simply have to make it work, there’s riders out there up the up with improvement, got to start team building quickly and get them signed up! Who wouldn’t want to come and learn with those top boys in the team
  15. Have seen king take that wide line from where I stand on exit of second turn a thousand times, he knows Foxhall better than anyone if he’s behind and the gaps closing he backs out, he’s a brave rider and will keep it open when there’s room and when he’s alongside but he’s not stupid and knows when to yield when behind. He definitely wasn’t expecting that from nicolai hence he kept it wound on having got the run and being alongside with room to race which was taken away with zero time to get out of the way and avoid a crash. no bias on my part, if that was an Ipswich rider doing it to an away rider I’d be just as outraged, if anything more outraged as an avid fan, I expect a better level of respect to be shown by my team on the track. just really don’t like seeing people get fenced, hard but fair racing is great entertainment, standing with a lump in throat wondering if a rider 20 metres in front of you strewn out on the stock car track having been sent through two sections of air fence and 3 wooden fence panels is not, that was a big crash and Danny lucky not to be seriously hurt - like others have said was a very similar incident to one that effectively ended mark loram’s career. and of all the people to do it to, Danny one of the fairest riders about not a bad bone in his body.
  16. Mark never hit the air fence that’s all, Danny did catch the last two sections of air fence
  17. My uncle said exactly the same thing at the meeting last night, but yes mark further down the straight
  18. Having stood opposite the exit of the second bend for 30 years now Klindt was 100% over the top on Danny, they were level and Klindt just rode him in the fence left him no racing room whatsoever ever, it’s different if you’re ahead and cut someone’s run off, that’s fair game but when they’re alongside and you just push them into the fence I’m sorry it’s bad form. I think it’s fair to say Danny certainly wasn’t expecting that from nicolai either, he’s usually hard but fair, Danny was very unimpressed when he came round to see if he was ok, lucky he wasn’t seriously injured.
  19. Been stood on the second bend all my life and that was one of the most deliberate fencing’s I’ve ever seen.
  20. Finnish kid vuolas looks a tidy rider
  21. It’s great to have guys if that calibre in the team, watching how they go about business inspires you to push yourself and be the best you can be to back them up. something like that rather than “I’m going to push them for the no.1 jacket”
