  1. What’s scores are a good reserve supposed to regularly score then? If a reserve is banging 9,10,11s regularly then they aren’t a reserve are they
  2. Lovely lad, 100% commitment every race. Feel like at 26 Danyon has reached his level tho, which is a good middle order rider in the second tier and reserve in prem so for me the likes of Jenkins, flint etc would be more favourable moving forward given they’ve seemed to reached a similar levels/surpassed Danyon slightly when several years younger and more scope to continue progressing next year to even higher standard. This year if Erik had been fully back to his best and Danyon hadn’t fallen off twice in the home leg of the final in scoring positions we’d have been champions - Ellis should be a big upgrade on the Erik we saw this year and Jenkins a rider with more potential upside to grow to higher level than Danyon through the season so we’ve significantly improved our weakest two team spots in a team that came within a whisker of winning the lot this year!
  3. I’d be happy to see Jenkins a witch in 24, made solid progress last year, nice kid with a good attitude! dunno if he’s still eligible for rising star or not has there been a list produced for the coming season yet that anyone has seen? I’ve not seen one on the website p.s Jordan wouldn’t like riding for Ipswich with Emil and Doyle at all, it would just super duper convenience with him being from Norwich and nothing else
  4. Significant progress on the 6.02 finishing average from this season?
  5. Ellis a decent signing in the middle of the team, should make a mockery of his starting average I’d think he’s decent at Foxhall
  6. Ben cook over king? Really? he scored 5+3 riding reserve and 5+1, 4+2 riding at 4 and 2 in his Foxhall visits last year and his gsa only 1.05 less than king huge downgrade that for very little gain elsewhere in team building.
  7. So you’ll take what he said 2 years ago as gospel but what he’s said this close season is all a line for the fans and he doesn’t mean a word of it yeah?
  8. Yep, he doesn’t mince his words when he doesn’t like something does he! It’s clear how much he’s enjoyed the past two seasons
  9. So when Doyle says he’s loves riding for Ipswich and it’s like a family what are you doing saying it’s rubbish and it’s just convenient?? That’s questioning the integrity of his word and I just can’t understand your rhetoric
  10. So you’re questioning Doyle’s integrity then? As well as slagging off Ipswich as a club? For what?
  11. If that’s the side I find it curious that cook was signed over wright or Brennan tbh
  12. Stats don’t lie but I bet if you said that to their faces Emil would have his helmet on and be at the tapes ready to race in a flash!
  13. Oooof I hope Emil doesn’t hear you say Doyle’s better than him around Foxhall!! Best pair I’ve seen in some few years now the commitment and trust they have in one other is incredible probably the best since darcy/holder hey day years at Poole. wouldn’t like to say who’s the best round Foxhall tbh, we said several times last year when they were really on it fully committed team riding in 13&15s we wouldn’t want to see them race against each other they’re both just too fast and committed to being top dog round Ipswich, it’s best they’re on the same side otherwise would end in tears
  14. Typically Ipswich announce the team over the course of a week or so
  15. Finally someone talking sense on the forum hahahahah best idea of silly season yet!!!
  16. I’d take a whole raft of young English lads before berge mate. dan t, edwards, rowe, flint to name a few Kye Thompson the Aussie lad all of them over berge. and we came within a whisker of winning everything in 23 with Erik riss scoring half of bugger all - Ellis or Brennan would be a huge upgrade on his scores home and away, rew is only going one way he showed that the end of the season form so there’s less pressure on the 6th rider than Hume this year and all of them would likely match what he did with the potential for a higher ceiling come the end of the season. just my opinion but I just can’t see berge being any good, his engines will be too strong and he’ll miss the bends just like bellego, just like Tungate and other continental throttle jockeys that have never shown they can turn the bike sufficiently to be effective scorers at foxhall
  17. I’m the interim period since he last rode Foxhall what experience has he garnered on smaller tight grippy tracks?? If he’s anything like the showing when he was a visiting rider in the championship let alone prem he won’t score close to 5 points. he’s like his counterpart bellego who rode for us and couldn’t get to grips with Foxhall - fast on big wide open continental tracks but not small technical ones, so no thanks from me
  18. Word on the street has been that due to an increase in greyhound racing at Perry Barr brim were only going to be able to run speedway on Mondays next year so their incentive is the top league protected nights are Mondays and thursdays. in oxfords case didn’t they want to go straight into the top league when they returned and there’s some rule about having to start in the lower league first and prove viability of a new team at a lower running cost or something
  19. He’s toilet at Foxhall tho where you rode half your meetings, only go to nss a couple of times a season he won’t be good really anywhere else
  20. Is there? Dunno how the grading for assessment works but both rew and wojdylo for example came in a 5.00 not 4.00 last year, so did Emil bruem didn’t he? What level of euro kid comes in on a 4 nowadays? Genuine question cos I don’t know
  21. Leon flint or Jordan Jenkins maybe a shout, or Jason edwards he did well last year in a couple of meetings anders rowe another option another route would be wojdylo/z cook at 4 and that frees up enough for riss or someone else in the 4.8 range at 2 and pushes rew to 6
  22. I think it would be a risk tbh. Not been on the bike the entire season after really bad injuries think if I was Louis I’d see how he settled back into racing in the champ/ndl befoe bringing him back into the food in prem
  23. I think Danyon showed in the playoffs that his current level is his ceiling, he can’t ride any faster he falls off, lovely lad and a half decent no.7/second string in champ but for me I’d like to see two younger lads with more scope to improve their averages as the season goes on.
