  1. You’re so blinkered it’s laughable! If the images of these holes were at any other track in uk you and all the other blinkered Poole fans would be up in arms slating the track, saying it’s dangerous etc. Etc. Please understand I’m not in any way anti Poole, I for one think it’s great how passionate the fans of your club seem to be, without fans the sport wouldn’t exist! But....I as a speedway fan want to see the standards of track preparation in the uk raised across the board as it’s regularly sub par and dangerous for the riders who are putting their necks on line for our entertainment! Today’s bikes are highly volatile unpredictable machines that have to be ridden pretty much flat out with little room for error, to achieve close safe racing we need better prepared tracks, inconsistencies in the track ie bumps, holes etc launch these guys and often they momentarily become a passenger so when racing closely it can be hard to miss others - this leads to people not racing so closely being wary to make manoeuvres as they are cautious of the track - I’ll be the first to admit the track has been great for some meetings at Ipswich this season and for others it’s been very tricky for the riders, we need better standards and better consistency to improve the product and more importantly improve the safety for the riders. If you genuinely think soft patches on the inside of the track that can rut so easily and potholes such as those seen in the photos on the pre meeting track walk are acceptable and safe for guys to go racing on then don’t bother replying I have no interest in taking the conversation further it’s wasted breath. I’m glad to hear the meeting was good entertainment throughout and glad no one was too badly injured! Just wondering what it’s going to take before uk speedway get serious about improving the track prep standards. p.s. Before someone pipes up “if it’s that bad why do they ride the tracks” well if they refuse to race on an unfit track if the ref says shut up and get on with it they’re instantly put between a rock and a hard place - ride on a dangerous track or refuse to ride and be slapped with a 28 day ban for withholding their services and therefore can’t earn anything from their chosen profession for a month!
  2. There you go I worked it out, obviously resolution is much worse so not as clear but I’d like to think even the most blinkered on here can see that there’s still some holes which are pretty darned dangerous!

  4. Just looked at Craig Instagram - video is still there to see on his story, I’ve taken a screenshot so have a still, if anyone knows how to take the resolution down so it’s a small enough file to post on here let me know how and I will post here, alternatively dm me an email and I’ll send it to you for viewing pleasure! His Instagram handle is craigcook111 - click on his profile pic in top left of the page and it’ll bring up the story with video where you can still see it if you can work it out! https://instagram.com/craigcook111?igshid=1ub1bay2tlgop
  5. Great for Pieszczek to get himself a hatful, seems to be getting better and better, could be a key rider come the playoffs, such a togetherness in this team, everyone pulls together and even on off nights chip in with crucial point here and there, up the witches no reason why we can’t get something at Belle vue Monday!
  6. As always on the road be happy to claim a point! Swindon seem to have settled a bit on their new track now, batch and Rasmus in fine form, reserves could prove pivotal in this one!
  7. Or you know to a man we just wanted it more, worked harder, made better starts, are in better form, are a cohesive team working well together as one unit.....but yeah the track was prepared to help us that’s the reason why we won for a second time in the league at Peterborough this season!
  8. Never been to Swindon, is it a muddy stadium? Just wondering in terms of whether I’d get away with white trainers or not!? not sure how good a level of guest Swindon will be able to get for Nielsen? He had a nasty one last night doubt he’ll be fit
  9. So buster wouldn’t pay for Hans, cook and bomber but he’s going to pay for 4 continental riders to come over mid season...? Jesper b Jensen(monberg) is also 102 btw
  10. You can swap reserves in for heat 8 it’s just protected from tac sub
  11. Fantastic effort from the boys tonight, everyone getting stuck in and contributing, special mention for Danny Ayres, don’t think anyone would argue this level is a bit above his for the most part, but always gives 100% so 4 points and beating Scotty nicholls twice a big well done to him! another big 4 points on the road for the witches underdogs! How’s that league table looking!!?
  12. Well kennett won’t be getting any points now he’s not even coming!! I had based it purely looking at the fours a week or so ago lawson 2 from 2 rides Eddie 6 from 2 rides! Having said that I’m sure Richard can and I sincerely hope he will score more than that, just looked at his score last time at pboro and it was 9 so hopefully he can do that again and offset the likely lower score of Ayres than what I expected Eddie to score!!
  13. Bomber 9 Lawson 4 King 10 Heeps 6 KP 4 Kennett 8 Jake 8 think this will be tight and could go either way but these are very believable scores for all 7 witches to add up to 49 and all 4 points so feeing optimistic!
  14. I’m aware this is your opinion in terms of top 20, I’m curious as to what the criteria is for how you work it out? Given that you use the term “current form” In past month Jake Allen has been out injured yet makes the list and in that time cameron Heeps has scored 9(a), 13+2(h), 17+1(a), 13+2(h), and not made the list!? not a having a dig I’m just interested how an injured rider can be in better form than someone paid for 57 points over 4 meetings!! im sure people have asked before, I’m just interested, for me if I were to do something similar I think it would have to be largely a subjective list based on my expectations of riders based upon my idea of what their current level is as a purely statistical is already offered by official averages! So for example Heeps would probably be at the very top of the form table given he’s been beating all sorts of heat leaders home and away! And for example luke Becker would be right up there given it’s his first season in uk speedway straight in the top flight and for me he’s far exceeding expectation, Charles Wright and Rasmus Jensen far exceeding expectations this year etc.

  16. Glad kamikaze Bates is to be absent - seems to be causing more and more! I’ve always thought the boy has potential but not the right mindset im with taps could get another 4 point win but of course wouldn’t be unhappy with a narrow loss picking up a point, a point always has to be the minimum target! I don’t like the Heeps/king pairing at 3/4 I feel like they’re always going for the same piece of track on the outside when paired together, particularly at home and often get in each other’s way! To be honest the way he’s been going I’d have put cam at 5, he’s been beating everyone so would make little difference to him where he’s put
  17. i actually think TJ has overachieved in past couple of seasons in top league.... his scores in top league have been similar level to guys who are consistently 8.5-9 point men in second division yet he's still really just a 7-7.5 man in champ.
  18. riss and nicol in for proctor and lambert at kings lynn and as a result of his availability...... proctor in at pboro 28 day replacement for bwd
  19. riss and nicol in for proctor and lambert proctor in at pboro 28 day replacement for bwd
  20. Be interesting to see who’s riding in what position on Monday now the new averages are out... Harris goes back to 1 and kennett to reserve, with Heeps moving into the team. based on form I may be tempted to put Heeps at 5....! Lawson likes heat 1 and is a good trapper so stick him at 2, Danny KP 3/4 Heeps 5, rekindle his partnership with Jake riding at 7
  21. I’ve never rated berge, always seemed to have a poor attitude to me on his Foxhall visits over the past few seasons - makes the start in one race and looks a word beater, misses the start and gives up in all the others! Couldn’t understand so many people on the forum raving about him being a potential trump card and people putting him in their team predictions/hopes at many different clubs during the winter
