I’d just like say amidst all the negativity of those that really aren’t doing the business, (of which I know I’m contributing to) Cameron was superb tonight, as was king. Pieszczek I thought after his early misdemeanour rode fantastically well to his 3 paid wins and is getting better and better! So well done to those three boys! Lawson started well and faded a bit but 7 points isn’t bad for an ok night!

Luke Becker has never been to Foxhall before and bellego didn’t look like getting near him! In theory yes he’d do better at reserve but to be honest he’s not doing the business home or away and we should look to some other riders that may be worth a punt, it cannot get worse than 0!! No there doesn’t appear to be many obvious options- at a glance of the championship averages the picks for me would be maybe Ryan Douglas, Josh Auty, Jason Garrity? None are gonna pull up trees but all ride Foxhall fairly well and would likely soon be at reserve. i would be doing everything I could to get Craig cook in for Harris as well

Josh only has a current championship average which would be converted 6.91 / 1.5 = 4.61 so is eligible to guest for Jake.

2 of the 7 points he scored were gifted....you’ve got to be in it to win it! Beat both nicholls and holder fair and square - both vastly more experienced heat leaders on English soil! im not trying to KP was brilliant last night by any means but he’s steadily scoring points and learning all the time on the English tracks - compare that to David who’s been riding here for years now and that’s why I’d argue his form is more of a worry!

So you can come and have a practise before riding for your own team but can’t use riding for your own team to then benefit someone else with a guest booking!!?? Not that nicholls needs any practise around Foxhall! Dad and I were joking last night he’s probably done more laps at Foxhall than the rest of them put together discounting perhaps Danny!

I’m much happier watching premiership speedway this season - would have preferred Louis to still be the owner and buster not involved but I understand why he couldn’t take all the financial risks himself at the time. He’s got a buy back clause so fingers crossed the season is successful and he’s able to justify the risk to take back full control!

At this stage of the season KP scoring 7 points on a night where he’s “not that great” is very encouraging imo, he’s only going improve with more and more laps on ours and other uk tracks! Bellego very hot and cold - a bit like covatti seems to ride different lines to everyone else...?

Is the Belle Vue team really that poor? Fricke/bjerre about as good a 1/5 as anyone in the league, Steve Worrall one of the best 2nd strings, bewley only getting better as he grows in strength and confidence returning from injury, Lidsey only going to get better and a potential trump card by the latter half of the season!! berge has always blown hot and cold never could understand him being on so many fans wishlists in the winter and Wells has underperformed so far but a better rider than he’s shown for sure. find a decent replacement for berge and maybe wells if he doesn’t get going and you’ll be right up there - even without changes you’ll comfortably be in the playoffs imo

Completely agree, bellego still a bit of a worry for me but impressed with the team so far. And what is good to see is all 7 putting the effort in, that goes a long way for me too, I hate seeing riders pull up on the third lap when last etc. really hope jakes shoulder injury isn’t too serious, Josh Bates should be a good guest at home on Monday

Were you at the meeting?! If you weren’t your opinion has zero credibility. If you were then you were watching a different speedway meeting to me! After their first rides both were good value in all of their other races, Tobi was leading comfortably when his bike let go on him in his retirement, he passed Lawson in heat 14. Scott raced hard all night, passed Harris on the track, couldn’t have been expected to do much more realistically.

Great result! All 7 riders scoring important points, cut out a couple zeros and engine failures and we’ll be really rocking and rolling! I know pboro aren’t the strongest team currently but can only race what’s in front of you - big 4 points!

Think this one will be tight! We’re due an away win having got ourselves in good positions in most of away meetings so far only for one or two to let us down! Hopefully they can finally all do it on the same night! I’m going 44-46 witches to nick it!

All this nonsense about team suits making it hard to tell who’s who makes me laugh! They all have different colour helmets and the program and announcers will tell you who’s wearing which colour helmet in each race it’s pretty straight forward

I also wasn’t aware of this! I thought that was the point of a 5 man squad for a 3 man event?

But my point is only 3 of the 5 squad riders will be riding in Manchester on Saturday and bomber will likely not be one of them fit or not fit! So would make little difference taking a break now for a week or two to properly rest his hand so it can heal! The final in Russia isn’t until July 20th so plenty of time to be fit and ready for that meeting should rosco decide to call on him. i’d have thought the only way bomber is to be picked for the finals is if his form in the next month or two is phenomenal so riding injured and scoring 1 point at home isn't doing much for his cause! Craig cook qualified for the grand prix in Togliatti so I firmly expect him to be in the 3 with woffy and lambert having had success on the track previously.

Right now by riding when not fit enough to ride to his full capability he’s letting his teams down and would be doing the same riding in the SON - is he going to be in the pair in place of lambert or woffy?? No

I kind of see what you’re saying but equally bomber literally has a broken hand right now and if he took a couple of weeks off to rest he could return stronger and in the interim we would be able to utilise guests! at the start of the season he was racing hard and doing well - since the injury it’s clear he’s struggling to race the bike hard through the bends and turn on different lines

It’d be an awful lot easier to cover if he admitted he wasn’t fit enough to ride and we could utilise guests in his place! No wolves riding today so could’ve used Schlein, masters, nicholls all of whom would for sure have scored much more than his paltry 1 point. if there’s no time frame on a return sign Craig cook in his place on a 28 day I jury replacement contract to begin with and then see where we’re at. Cant see us getting anything away at Poole or Peterborough in the Next two meetings with Harris in the team continuing to struggle

I stand on exit of second bend so saw it from other side whereby it looked like Cameron passed him on entry to the corner and Anderson turned back into him - contact wasn’t on entry to the corner ie cam riding into the side of him and pushing him off, his back wheel passes Anderson’s front wheel without touching him at all and the contact is between the handlebar and cams right side as he turned back. I guess the refs view is more similar to yours from otherside of the track either way it was a strong move from cam and perhaps a little desperate? Was likely both our boys would pass him during the four laps easily

Harris needs to swallow his pride and take a break to get his hand stronger, letting us down at the moment. everyone did well enough, well done bellego much more confident performance on a different engine. king looked considerably quicker on Heeps bike practising briefly after the meeting - his practise start on back straight seemed to drive a lot better than those during the meeting on his own bike. Hopefully can get his gear going better sooner rather than later! Heeps shouldn’t of been excluded in reserve race imo - he’d passed Andersen who then turned onto him causing his own fall
