  1. don't think he really got a fair crack at ippo the other season, I'm sure his gating can/has improved somewhat - especially seeing some of his impressive scores on the continent this year, could be a trump card imo coming in likely on a 4
  2. He always seemed professional as did his equipment til he was dropped this season to me, seemed to struggle a lot more of tracks were a bit moist and slippery, always better in second half of the meeting when it slickened off a bit. Good gater and like a roadblock once out in front
  3. Tbh I think Jake will be back with Ipswich, he’s said he wants to ride Ipswich again next year and years to come and the club have tweeted saying how good he’s been this season and unsubtly hinted with emojis they want him back - plus all the fans want him back, can’t see any team permutation at Ipswich not including him
  4. Would like to see KP back too, I think he could become a much more consistent top rider in time, if he’s not at Ipswich I’d think someone would want him on his low average
  5. Klindt certainly seems to have Foxhall worked out, he’s massively upped his game in past year or two and is always a fast starter - something we’ve missed at Foxhall for years
  6. Tbh Rasmus made a decent step in Denmark and Sweden over the past couple of seasons before he did on uk shores, can see him comfortably maintaining a 3rd heat leader berth in top flight and continuing to clean up for Glasgow in second tier
  7. Article is on sgp website, says he’s open to maybe riding uk in 2020 if it suits his schedule, likes riding uk and had fun riding meetings for Ipswich but disappointed with his scores in final.
  8. Riders never seem at all keen to do it on recent seasons, don’t think the modern machinery copes with it well, can’t imagine it’s a worthwhile payday to offset a blown engine! Would be good to see it return tho and or the star of anglia individual meeting
  9. Started on 6.16 finished on 5.67 in prem started on 7.97 finished on 7.57 in champ having been almost 7 point rider in top flight and almost 10 in champ he’s improved towards the end of the season but has definitely had a poor season by his standards, especially seeing how good a level he’d reached 3 years ago when riding in World Cup for team gb before the bad leg break
  10. Can see several from this season being retained, for me I want to be entertained at home and see some riders with potential to improve 1. Niels/klindt 2. heeps/howarth 3. riss/Wilson-dean/Allen 4. wright/ellis 5. king/klindt/musielak 6. allen/covatti/piezczek/becker 7. Perks/Pickering/Douglas/kemp/garrity People saying nicholls at reserve would be good...maybe but tbh I think he’s gone backwards this year for a reason, he’s getting older, it catches up with everyone eventually - can’t see him all of a sudden putting 2-3 points back on his average next year
  11. £20000 was the figure I saw quoted as owed the other day regarding the loss of sponsorship with the carpet company, can’t find where I saw it again now - if the club has lost a further £20000 over the season questions surely have to asked of how the business is being run and how much they’re paying riders etc.
  12. You can say that as many times as you want but they got there on merit beating everyone else to a playoff spot and knocking Poole out in the semi Can’t wait for Poole to drop down a tier next season, hopefully you and the other Poole trolls can head off elsewhere on the forum too
  13. Can someone just give Pearson the bolt gun now, keep banging on about ipswich getting 6 5-0’s ffs
  14. Our boys already looking dejected, gonna be tough to reach anything respectable now
  15. He guessed it and got lucky, wasn’t rolling just anticipated and took a chance
