  1. Yep and levishyn the young Ukrainian while we’re at it too!!
  2. Possibly need to be looking for a 28 day temp replacement then. not many riders around of course, Aaron summers maybe the best option at the moment, if he’s even interested in riding both leagues
  3. In part I agree, however in the current economic crisis, if we had another 10 meetings at home and we’re riding basically every week, how many people would be picking and choosing what meetings they attended anyway, finding another £200 for 10 more meetings plus travel costs etc isn’t easy for a lot of people right now
  4. The track has produced some really really good raving the last 3 meetings, credit where credit is due, bob and Chris have got it right.
  5. Before the season began someone on here told me Doyle was on the way down and max fricke would finish the season comfortably the best rider in the league - whoever that was I hope you see this post hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahaha Doyle’s on the way down haahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha ha
  6. Were you at the meeting? The suggestion zagar wasn’t trying tonight is utter bs
  7. Absolute farce that the witches miss the opportunity to collect a league point due to the Sheffield staff’s inability to repair the fence
  8. From the clip shown pretty damning on starkes part. at the time of the event I felt Doyle having gone to the outside initially stood the bike up very hard and changed his line cutting back a lot harder than it looks in the video and felt once committed to a line starke had little time to adjust and avoid him cutting back. The angle of the video doesn’t really support that and I guess end of the day if you’re in front you can ride whatever line you want in theory can’t you.
  9. Don’t know what or who the answer is but we really need a dependable no.5 when the business end of the season is reached. doyle can’t do it all alone at the top end. maybe Chris Louis needs to ask guy for an engine for Troy as well, seems to have helped Danny
  10. Harris robbed us at the start in his first ride so swings and roundabouts
  11. Tbh it’s a pure racing incident where the lines each rider rode crossed but Doyle was the one who changed his line standing the bike up so for me if you were to have to choose a primary cause it was him, could’ve been all 4 back tho really
  12. Yeah of course we’re seeing it from opposite sides, from this side Doyle stood the bike up to cut back and make a long straight, starke behind coming off the inside with basso underneath him pushing him back wider
  13. I just can’t see how starke could have avoided him tbh
  14. Tbh I don’t like losing Doyle but standing on the second bend exit, Doyle at fault there, just stood it up in the middle of the bend like there was no one behind him, crazy move tbh
  15. Nice to Barbara in refs box is in a pboro shirt tonight, my wife saw Harris jump that start as she’s sat at home
  16. The phrase lack of preparation implies lack of effort to produce a better racetrack with more lines on it…? That’s was the point I took issue with and defended Chris and bob. also if Ipswich never produced an outside line Danny king wouldn’t have scored any points at all in the past umpteen years he’s riding for the club this season for whatever reason the tracks been slicker than normal and dirt line less prevalent but as mentioned was fairly decent and grippy in the belle vue meeting. certainly think the materials now available just don’t suit the modern bikes to produce as good a racing on the tighter tracks we have here in the uk.
  17. Chris Louis has changed the track, and banking as much as he can making alterations 4/5 times in the last few winters. it’s unfair saying there was a “lack of preparation” it was clear to see how hard Chris and bob had been working all day to get moisture into the track and produce some grip, this week has been horrendous weather hotter and hotter with a drying wind every day. I work on a local golf course and it’s gone from green to toast in just a few days. my question would be, if the material they currently use is just so so difficult to produce an outside line with when it’s so hot and dry, is there a better material that could be sourced to suit the climate and track here at Foxhall? I agree that the stock cars running all over it between meetings really don’t help.
  18. Engine failures happen, that’s like penalties over the course of a season they even out, and if they don’t you’ve got to question machinery prep. the track is the same for everyone, I’m sorry but Richard Lawson is an exceptionally experienced rider so saying we were lucky the track suited king and barker and not him is utter rubbish - especially when lynn is typically a grippy track. we were also missing starke who ran up a big score at lynn last season so as big a miss as your riders. harris is great form and iversen less so, so no real difference. tj form up and down this season, 6+1 for his rides isn’t far off the mark. desperately sad the injuries jack sustained, think he’s looked like he’s really progressing well this season - but you can’t use him being out as an excuse when worrall the far superior reserve took his two vacated rides, if you’re pinning us being “lucky winners” on Mulford taking 1 ride in the meeting pure excuses, the better side on the night won
  19. That’s really rubbish for the lad, thought he was progressing well this season
  20. Winners make their own luck pal! same for everyone on the night and lynn got beat fair and square! What was lucky about it?
