There’s no number 5 in that team
-
Need a number 5 to back Doyle up, this season has shown that
-
Doyle zagar/klindt Morris Cook hans kerr hume
-
Louis and guy Nichols need to hit a big reset button this winter, I’d be going and getting Alan Rossi yet if I’m honest. He been there and done it, always seemed to be a good motivator and him and Doyle enjoyed a lot success together
-
Tbh, Doyle +6 others and I’ll be getting a season ticket again. He’s absolutely box office, pure class, pure entertainment all season. with summers retiring can see it being the straight swap for Erik back in, still comes under 42.5 agree with baldy above tho would be nice to see some of these young guns from the continent enticed over here, was several on show in the SoN who looked well worth a punt

Witches v Panthers - 8th Sept

Before the season the belle vue crowd on here were up in arms about how we signed him and allegedly did them dirty after a verbal agreement… wonder if they want to swap him for matej zagar for the playoffs or have they gotten over it?? Haha the frustration with Troy is that he’s not a bad rider, clearly talented and at times this season we’ve seen just how good he can be, but others like this evening he’s looked like he can’t even turn the bike -

Josh’s falling off didn’t have much of an impact on result tbh, batch was passing him on that corner anyway hope both the lads ok tho, Jorgensen did really well to get the bike down fast and avoid a much much nastier crash -

Batch didn’t make a start all night!? Haha doyle made Grand Prix level starts and if we’re pulling him back for them what we saying about 4 out of 5 of Lawson’s efforts from the gate? Or did we miss his flyers through our rose tinted spectacles?? I think Doyle proved on the track when he did miss the start only to come from back and pass both worrall and Klindt with ease that him being first or last out of the gate made little difference….what lost kings lynn the meeting tonight was klindt messing around in heat 14 -

Not the first time this season riders have felt Lawson went over the line shutting off trying to slow down a race, there was some afters earlier in the years in one of the pairs meetings, remember Simon stead saying on the podcast he felt Lawson was a bit too naughty on that occasion. Must say I was surprised how angrily Rohan reacted today, didn’t think he was too naughty but I guess in the heat of battle tempers run high! Like the afters tbh adds to the entertainment, also enjoyed Doyle coming and saying to Rohan who cares we won let’s do some wheeelies haha excellent ride from Rohan to secure third and the win tho! -

Absolutely the right thing to do, all 4 riders addressed the tapes and klindt starts rolling backwards and forwards messing after the two minutes have passed, clearly delaying the start, it’s a simple rule that isn’t enforced enough frankly, bit like the goalie should only hold the ball 6 seconds in football rule always flouted rarely enforced, we all want speedway meetings to be run more smoothly and efficiently so good on the ref for being brave enough to officiate the situation and rightly exclude klindt, don’t get away with that nonsense in the Grand Prix or on the continent so it’s nothing new to him! -

26-34 We can still make the playoffs….oh…not now hahaha nice to see the 2 minute rule actually being upheld, Klindt taking the Michael and rightly punished -
He’s half decent around Foxhall tbf. Expect him to do a decent enough job, especially starting at reserve

We’re lulling belle vue into a false sense of security in preparation for the play offs haha -

For sure not expecting a win as such, but 100% our mentality going into to every meeting now is that we can and are trying to win that meeting, home and away. batch been getting better and better lately, tungate an unknown but went well at nss when he was a home rider, and the track most similar to the continental tracks he’s been riding all year so it’s the best track for him to return to uk speedway at I’d say. real shame this meeting isn’t being televised -

Looking for a point!!!!????? We’re coming looking for a win mate! -
Completely agree, imagine if he’d have got injured Thursday night riding for a club that has already sacked him and effectively halved his earning potential for the rest of this season, and then his earning potential falls to zero
-
I mean he left in 2015 aged 25 he’s returning 7 years older and wiser, I know I’m a really rather different bloke now than I was aged 25 8 years ago…

Decent moves that definitely strengthen us up heading into the playoffs, real shame for the outgoing lads, sadly injuries play a big part in speedway. difficult situation Ben finds himself in, the reality is even if he’s innocent that likely means he readings came up non negative due to him being so dosed up on legal painkillers due to riding with injuries, tbh I’m much happier moving forward with 7 fully fit riders. surely Rohan has grown up a bit since he last rode for us and ruffled the feathers of almost everyone, either way he’s a decent little rider and if we’re gonna be champions we’re likely going to have to beat belle vue over two legs and he was very fast around the nss when riding for them in the past. aaron has been banging in points since his return to the sport, have no qualms he’ll big a valuable asset for the witches, I believe he’ll start at reserve too which surely makes him one of the straightest reserves in the league

Kings Lynn vs Ipswich August 4th
89buttons replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Best no.1 we’ve had in decades, out and out winner, but also seems to absolutely thrive of entertainment too, absolutely box office, went up to lynn with my dad and uncle last night first time we’ve made the trip since the lockdowns etc and Doyle a huge reason why. been impressed with his integration and commitment to helping the other riders too, super encouraging hearing his words on Danyon in the programme a couple of weeks ago, along the lines of “Dan will go far and keep improving because he engages and listens” -
And summers current champ average 6.21 would be converted instead of old prem average used I would think, if the conversion is still 1.5 that would make him 4.14
-
Very cryptic, good to know the management are moving quickly tho, not a lot of available riders and erik’s injury and bens situation a nightmare given how good a position we’d got ourselves into in the league. if willing summers an obvious choice given his form for Oxford, I’m guessing maybe Jorgensen the other as widely reported leaving kings lynn and decent around Foxhall
-
Source? in time for kings lynn Thursday?

Why on earth would we want to bring Rowe back into the fold at this stage of the season for someone like starke. for whatever reason clearly doesn’t want to be riding for Ipswich in the uk atm whereas starke gives his absolute all for the club every race start to finish
