  1. *Insert angry mob* WE WANT PROOF! WE WANT PROOF! Haha
  2. Unless the Emil deal has set a precedent and made it much simpler for any imaginary laguta deal
  3. Don’t want to be too hard on the lad but Thompson just isn’t ready for this level yet, can’t keep carrying him surely we need to build a bridge and get rowe or kemp in who will be able to compete with the other rising stars, keep Thompson on as a designated No.8 or something.
  4. Did KK and bomber win the pairs at Foxhall that season as well? If memory serves correct, long time ago so maybe making stuff up haha
  5. Yeah but not having much hope and suggesting it’s embarrassing if we don’t win by 55-35 or more is pretty brazen imo. Daytime slicker track reduces home advantage a lot
  6. How do you figure that? Lynn have a team of riders that all have gone well at Foxhall in the past, especially when it’s slick which it likely will be slicker than normal being a day meeting. If Klindt KK turn up and gate it’ll be close
  7. Think that’s pretty harsh. Decent team man last season for us. Frustrating how hot and cold he was form wise but nothing against the bloke.
  8. Who they gonna replace max fricke with ffs? speedway fans are so fickle, imagine in other sports you don’t score a hat trick for a couple of games and you just lose your job
  9. Not to say that hardness isn’t in him, wouldn’t have got as far as he has without it, was more a comment in reply to the original poster saying he thought he was going into to challenge to world titles - for that you’ve got to have another edge and it can’t just flit in and out. There’s been plenty of riders with all the talent that never realised that final step - Leigh Adams, magic janoski a couple that spring to mind
  10. Immensely talented is max - bit too soft tho imo for the real top tier of rider.
  11. The tie was already lost, extra track time for fricke to get more settled on home track - same reason rew was in heat 15 - more track time
  12. Shall we drop Emil and Hume and get two 6 pointers in then? there’s always going to be drawbacks when building teams to a points limit, if you build more strength in depth you won’t have the same top end strength we have in Emil and Doyle, rew will improve, Hume will improve as the season goes on and Erik will be back. The biggest bummer is losing Thomas as I think he was one of the better rising stars - at this stage it seems a step too far for joe
  13. He beat Dan bewley last night… if he was beating opposition second strings and reserves everytime at home his average would’ve been far higher and wouldn’t have fit
  14. Kurtz is good at Foxhall, bewley been hit and miss in the past, from memory lidsey wasn’t great. Wright and Brennan again hit and miss - Brennan tends to improve as the track slickens off later in the meetings at Foxhall tho also 50-40 home win I reckon
  15. All this talk about worrall becoming available and coming straight back to kings lynn…who says he’d want to?? he had a pretty solid season last year and wasn’t brought back, now the grass isn’t greener for the Lynn management who’s says he will automatically come running back?
  16. In fairness it was abnormally poor score from riss at home tonight, if he scores 7/8 instead of 2 it’s a much much bigger win
  17. Erik has looked quick too and said he’s happy with his new equipment and speed
  18. Fricke has only really had one good meeting at Ipswich, morris and Lawson usually ok, bomber hit and miss, sedge and jake hit and miss very hard to predict but think the witches will enjoy early season home advantage
  19. Hahahaha all that money Lynn have spent on getting Klindt and KK over here from the continent and they should’ve just signed Scott nicholls
  20. Let’s bloody hope so, it severely reduced how good pboro track can be last season didn’t it
  21. Currently at the hospital circa half a mile as the crow flies, suns out, has been all morning as per the forecast. apologies don’t have a magic wand to tell you if it’ll be raining come 1930
  22. Think it’ll be a close meeting early season, Ipswich with a tight home win
  23. Maybe neither kemp or rowe want to ride for rising star money this season? At least Joe will be riding championship in uk as well. With kemp and rowe both not riding championship it’s not many meeting on uk type tracks only doing prem for riders of their experience. Still it’s a surprise
