  1. Nicholls committed to Eurosport, regular coverage starting Monday, hence not doing premiership this year You never know, Tungate came back for a spell last year so bridges can be built
  2. I always preferred the points you score being the points you get, getting in a final on 8 and being awarded 20 if you win it is a joke
  3. So if it’s a racing incident, surely common sense would suggest a rider coming from behind, travelling faster and consequently riding into the side another rider causing him to fall off then the rider that coming from behind has knocked him off surely! also zmarzlik front wheel was a fair bit off the white line, he could’ve left Doyle more room to turn also…but then the speed he was coming in at he was never gonna be able to hold the inside on the line he was coming in at, so Doyle’s choices were jump out of the way or get knocked off
  4. He wasn’t in front tho Doyle was, he had more speed coming to the corner having made a longer straight but what’s Doyle supposed to do just turn right shut off and wave him through??? as others have said if it’s the other way round the decision goes the other way every time, zmarzlik gets every decision going it’s a joke
  5. What a load of crap haha didn’t move left at all just held his line
  6. Looks like a young Chris holder imo, superb all night and great race with worrall in heat 14, hope Richie is ok after the post race tumble
  7. I thought you said Freddie lindgren was coming?
  8. Could well be the case, seems strange on Drew’s part tho to turn down a team place if so. Surely at his stage of career you want/need to be on the bike as much as possible
  9. Not good for the lad, hope he gets fixed up somewhere else quickly, even less time on the bike isn’t going to help him one bit. sadly I feel he’s a mile off premiership level just yet, realistically we should be looking to strengthen the rs position too, maybe if an option keeping joe as no.8, take him along for some meetings especially while still running r/r
  10. And if it was broken on Monday three days to get someone to fix it and make safe surely wouldn’t be hard. klidnt is unavailable as is Pickering and they’ve cancelled the meeting to hope to have a better chance at a later date, pretty obvious, broken gate is a smokescreen
  11. *Insert angry mob* WE WANT PROOF! WE WANT PROOF! Haha
  12. Unless the Emil deal has set a precedent and made it much simpler for any imaginary laguta deal
  13. Don’t want to be too hard on the lad but Thompson just isn’t ready for this level yet, can’t keep carrying him surely we need to build a bridge and get rowe or kemp in who will be able to compete with the other rising stars, keep Thompson on as a designated No.8 or something.
  14. Did KK and bomber win the pairs at Foxhall that season as well? If memory serves correct, long time ago so maybe making stuff up haha
  15. Yeah but not having much hope and suggesting it’s embarrassing if we don’t win by 55-35 or more is pretty brazen imo. Daytime slicker track reduces home advantage a lot
  16. How do you figure that? Lynn have a team of riders that all have gone well at Foxhall in the past, especially when it’s slick which it likely will be slicker than normal being a day meeting. If Klindt KK turn up and gate it’ll be close
  17. Think that’s pretty harsh. Decent team man last season for us. Frustrating how hot and cold he was form wise but nothing against the bloke.
  18. Who they gonna replace max fricke with ffs? speedway fans are so fickle, imagine in other sports you don’t score a hat trick for a couple of games and you just lose your job
  19. Not to say that hardness isn’t in him, wouldn’t have got as far as he has without it, was more a comment in reply to the original poster saying he thought he was going into to challenge to world titles - for that you’ve got to have another edge and it can’t just flit in and out. There’s been plenty of riders with all the talent that never realised that final step - Leigh Adams, magic janoski a couple that spring to mind
  20. Immensely talented is max - bit too soft tho imo for the real top tier of rider.
  21. The tie was already lost, extra track time for fricke to get more settled on home track - same reason rew was in heat 15 - more track time
  22. Shall we drop Emil and Hume and get two 6 pointers in then? there’s always going to be drawbacks when building teams to a points limit, if you build more strength in depth you won’t have the same top end strength we have in Emil and Doyle, rew will improve, Hume will improve as the season goes on and Erik will be back. The biggest bummer is losing Thomas as I think he was one of the better rising stars - at this stage it seems a step too far for joe
  23. He beat Dan bewley last night… if he was beating opposition second strings and reserves everytime at home his average would’ve been far higher and wouldn’t have fit
  24. Kurtz is good at Foxhall, bewley been hit and miss in the past, from memory lidsey wasn’t great. Wright and Brennan again hit and miss - Brennan tends to improve as the track slickens off later in the meetings at Foxhall tho also 50-40 home win I reckon
