Ipswich v Belle Vue 27th March KOC 2nd leg

Cynical sidenote - we ran one last place last night and it was Danny š«£š before you bite I like Danny and heāll be a great second string - awesome to see the tracks changes meant he held the inside better than Iāve ever seen him manage before last night! Also shows his hand must be nice and strong š -

Injuries and rule bending the only thing thatāll stop this side winning the silverware this season imo. if you look closely we conceded a heat advantage in heat 6 of the Foxhall battering last night -

Call us cocky if you want but when you score more in one leg than the reigning champions score over both legs then really thatās some statement! -

Great job Chris Louis has done altering the track over the winter, our boys still love it and the best visiting rider thereās been the past few seasons canāt ride it anymore š¤£š¤Ŗ -

The sad reality is playoffs or no playoffs the eventual champions is almost always decided by injuries -

I donāt think it would be a brazen prediction for say doyle 12 danny 8 adam 8 tom 8 Emil 11 dan 7 jordan 4 they could all struggle like the normally imperious at home belle vue lads did Monday but I donāt think itās likely -

Belle vue will no doubt be up for it, at Foxhall which belle vue riders do you realistically expect to outscore their opposing number tho? Obviously on the night all sorts can happen but honestly I think Kurtz and Doyle will be fairly even and both double figures could go either way, other than that honestly expect all the other Ipswich riders to come out on top in their head to heads -

Ellis has always been pretty handy round Foxhall tbf, the season crump came back for us and had a go in an early season meeting he was following Ellis keeping it safe low down/mid track while Ellis was in the dirt on the fence line pulling away out front. After the race crumpy was applauding him having a chat, pointing to the fence and shaking his head, looked as if he was saying āwhat in the hell were you doing out there ladā š -

Too much of Dannyās ippo career the expectations on him have been higher than his level, heās never been a proper 1 or 5 in the top league but heās had to be that and then overly criticised when come up short - now heās not got the burden of those unrealistic expectations should go along quite nicely this season. Hawkins made a good point with king riding at 2 the majority of his rides come earlier in the meeting on a grippier track which will suit him also Great start last night for him and the team š

Good shout on the 10 point margin šš¤£ -
Same here tbh, personally feel it appears much more of a professional team having a team suit Canāt say I find it difficult really, so long as you know whoās in red/blue on your team etc in each race its easy enough to follow
-
Madness! Bit like the town playing in blue every year! š

Bags of ability but heās completely lacking confidence, was shutting off before the first corner afraid to mix it, KL fans shouldnāt expect to much of him too soon no but I think itās a fair expectation for him to contend first turns

Donāt remember lidsey ever looking particularly fast or comfortable at Foxhall tbh - maybe wrong. Blodorn has done an ok job as a second string/reserve for the most part -

Bewley can be up and down at Foxhall despite being quoted last year as saying he loves racing round there just doesnāt seem to score consistently. kurtz for me has been the best away rider at Foxhall for a good few years now tbh -
Tbf a thread on here for restaurant recommendations near all the tracks for travelling fans wouldnāt be the worst thing would it!

Cheers will give it a look š

Any recommendations for a pub lunch relatively local to the track before Niels meeting on Sunday?

Anyone know when press and practise day is this year?

BEN Fund 2025
89buttons replied to Biffa's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Very good line up for the Ben fund meeting this year, donāt think the 2010 lineup at rye house will ever be topped tho! https://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/7075/fund-bonanza-house-14th-march -
Keynanās gating has largely been whatās held his progress back in his two years at Foxhall tbh, but back end of season and in playoffs it has markedly improved for sure, keep that up and heāll be looking for some big scalps this year
