Visiting Edinburgh & Glasgow
STEPHEN 333 replied to Speedball's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Doing the same myself this weekend, or am planning to, depends on Sheffield's line up at Edinburgh, depends if Josh Grajczonek is riding for Sheffield or if he is at Somerset, if he is at Somerset Sheffield will need a good guest if that's the case or they will get tonked at Armadale, then off to Glasgow on Saturday night for the Scottish Derby, then Newcastle on the Sunday for the British Semi final, the weather looks good for the weekend so hopefully all should go well. -
Anybody know if Josh Grajczonek is riding for Sheffield on Friday at Edinburgh, or is he off with Somerset, if that's the case can Sheffield have a guest.
-
Ricky is certainly going to be totting up the miles over night, Sheffield on the Thursday, Edinburgh on the Friday, back up to Glasgow for the Sunday meeting against the Tigers, then down to Rye for the fixture on the Bank Holiday Monday meeting and that's only next week.

Its R/R for Josh Auty, injured at Scunthorpe last week, MPT now coming in to replace the guest Cameron Heeps, because of illness. -
Just got back home from Newcastle, the meeting was called off around 3pm, I was in the car park, when the decision was made, and left not long after that time, followed Stevie Worrall out of the place, never stopped raining all the way back to Leeds. Rang the stadium up along the way into Newcastle, was told it was expected to stop raining around 3pm, never did, but that's speedway.

Who has said that Mark Lemon is not returning, hope Jack Lee does not get involved, he screwed things up at Sheffield when team manager there. I hope Mark does return, he did a good job

Polish Ekstraliga 2017 Fixtures
STEPHEN 333 replied to PolskiZuzel's topic in International World of Speedway
Thank you for posting that information, will be very helpful, off to Torun and Gorzow this year for fixtures, any idea when and where the Polish individual final is taking place. -
Hi Phil, just would like to ask a question about Speedway Star, At the BSPA AGM in November, all the "big fixtures venues" were released for the British 2017 season, can the Speedway Star yet confirm if any of the "big fixtures venues" for Poland or Sweden have yet been confirmed. Stating this because two meetings I personally would like to attend is the Senior Polish Final, as well as the Swedish Final, have the PZM or SVEMO published their biggies dates yet for 2017. Would also like to know if any "big" Danish meetings/venues have been released

Only six places left now in the Championship after Mark Riss confirmed for Edinburgh, going to be some riders looking abroad to ride, there is a lot of riders out of work at the moment.

We'll know for definite then if Steady has retired, if of course it is not him.

Darcy Ward Says No Holder At Poole No Me At Poole
STEPHEN 333 replied to robert72's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I know Matt Ford has said that Chris Holder will not be in his plans for the start of the season, but what happens come end of May when the first or second set of averages come out, I'll be surprised if there is not a gap to accommodate a rider like Chris on his newly inflated and topped up average, remember no new rider signings after July 31st only, do you think that Matt has not already thought about this happening. -
Need some help and advice from seasoned travellers, are the tracks in Poland, mainly Gorzow and Torun easily accessable by train from Germany, thinking of visiting both these tracks, using the airport at Berlin Schonfled. hope I have spelt that right. Flights from Luton or Stansted regular go to the airport at Berlin Schonfled, and these tracks, especially Gorzow, I can see there are rail connections that go from the airport at Berlin to Poland, and after seeing the start times published above, it appears to me that a day trip if the flights allow it could be easily arranged, I am looking forward to planning and visiting some league Polish matches this season, not just the Grand Prix one's. Anyone got any advice.

Belle Vue National Stadium
STEPHEN 333 replied to PHILIPRISING's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
That's right. Yes, that's why Mark, Joe Screen and Gary Havelock, made one of the most potent heat leader trio's in the league around that time, they all got paid on time, even Wiggy made a special plea to Allan to open a track nearer his home in Oxford, would have gladly rode for him there after he rode for Allan at Odsal. Everybody wanted to ride for the Ham brothers. -

Allan retired from his own business in the early years of 2000 somewhere around that time, then sold his company to his son and it was his son's business that went bust. Yes they were, believe Scotty was sponsored by Ham Construction.
