  1. Everybody in Speedway, Riders, Promoters, and fans can only wish this guy the very best in his recovery, get well soon Danny.
  2. Thanks for that Racers and Royal. Some fixture planning to be done by the Aces management during that period 14th to 19th of June 14th, Aces away at Rye House, 15th, First Semi Final at Olching, 16th, Aces at home to Rye House, 17th, Aces away at Leicester, 17th, Second Semi Final at Terenzano 19th, British Final at Belle Vue
  3. No chance of Zagar riding for Poole, has always said the only club he will ride again for in the UK is Belle Vue, said that at the Peter Craven meeting on the microphone, note to Mark Lemon, Aces v Poole, 9th of June, Mind you the Czech Grand Prix the following day, so no chance of him riding then.
  4. Well done Cookie, and Max who finished second, together with Kenneth 3rd at Esjberg, sounds like a good weekend for the Aces club, anyone know when and where the Semi's are being held.
  5. Big Truck-fest exhibition on at the arena over the weekend, gives them plenty of time to get the track ready.
  6. Looks that way, Edinburgh v Workington Friday 5th, going to be a team of guests for the Wolves.
  7. Is this for the Poland v Australia test match on the 7th of May, or the normal league fixtures
  8. Mind you I am adding Kings Lynn to that bad day at the office equation as well, lost at Wolves 59 - 30
  9. Poole 45 - 47 Swindon, looks like Belle Vue weren't the only side to have a bad day at the office
  10. 41 - 18 after ten races, yep, your right there woeful!!!
  11. Looks like Kenneth Bjerre will be missing the the match against Swindon then on the 19th of May, depending on where the SEC Final is been held.
  12. Hougaard finished 10th in his qualifier, don't think he will progress to the next round, whilst Bjerre finished third with 12pts, behind winner Timo Lahti (14pts), and Martin Smolinski on 13pts, so yes I think I know what you mean Bjerre will be missing another three Saturday nights, whilst Hougaard won't.
  13. At least Belle Vue have the upper hand when it comes to the two riders who were missing today in Bjerre and Hougaard, in the SEC qualifiers Bjerre finished third in Terenzano on 12pts, whilst Hougaard finished on 7points in the round where he was riding.
  14. Both Bewley and Smith have done the best part of 2,000 miles each travelling in the last week, with visits to Poole, Glasgow, Belle Vue three times in the last eight days, both looked very tired and exhausted, maybe time for Smith to concentrate on the National and Championship leagues only, bringing Joe Jacobs back into the fold maybe a good idea.
  15. Aces 44 - 46 Somerset, well done Somerset, Tungate did come to the party
  16. Yep, really feel for the Somerset fans travelling north for that start time, would not like it if me and other Belle Vue fans had to travel to Somerset for a twelve noon start to a meeting there, only can put it down to the fact that there are meetings elsewhere with Rye, Leicester, Wolves and Kings Lynn also racing at earlier times as well, may have something to do also with the Swedish season also starting this week, and riders having to get to Sweden for that. Belle Vue to win, possible by 16pts. Why could they not have held the Belle Vue Colts meeting with Mildenhall, held on Friday, following this fixture instead of opening the stadium twice in three days, surely the fixture planners for the National League could have built this fixture in when they knew the original dates for the Premiership.
  17. Hi Topaz325, The advice about car parking is fine, just to add though that there is a Stock car meeting on the same day at the dog track, starts at 4pm, best use the car parks and would stay away from the roadside parking.
  18. Tigers to win by 8 to 10, depends on how the two reserves for Sheffield can cope with and compare with Mark Riss, the other week he got a high score whilst guesting for us, all depends on that in my opinion, more concerned about the weather forecast, it looks awful for Thursday night
  19. Somebody on here has heard its Richard Lawson as a guest.
  20. If it's Richard Lawson, that make Sheffield a lot stronger, still need a good lead from Thursday's meeting though.
