  1. With all this talk of R/R, and possible guests, who's to say that Max might not be back within a few weeks, does anyone have specific details of Max's injury, who's actually said that he is out of the play offs.
  2. Third choice Max Fricke out injured now, so maybe a second wildcard.
  3. I personally hope he does the right thing and retires, the doctors have had there say, and any further damage has been clearly spelt out to him and his family, Partial paralysis is not an option, just ask Darcy Ward, Nicki has been a massive ambassador to the sport, and no matter what he does in the future, his record in this sport to date is engraved in the record books for all to see, he would walk into any other role in the sport, either as a team manager, or as a coach to the youngsters, but I for one do not want to attend another benefit meeting for a rider who has suffered a horrible injury, that night at Poole when Darcy returned even had me in tears, I do not want another one like that. Best wishes to Nicki, I hope he does the right thing, but only he will know what that is.
  4. Does not look very many people have bothered to turn up, and it was one meeting I was trying to get to, glad I opted out of going.
  5. Wonder why, he must have been somewhat very tired. Any info on his injury.
  6. It was nice to read and hear Magic's reaction on winning in Horsen's last night, he did and has clearly stated that he owes his success over the years to racing the small tracks here in the UK, just might have a reaction on how some Polish juniors treat racing in Sweden and Denmark, and instead start racing here in the UK instead. Was really nice to see Magic win last night, fully deserved.
  7. Why is everyone on Lambert's case, don't forget last night at 10pm UK time he was in the south of France at the U21 Final in Macon, and is at Workington at 12 noon the following day, that's all lot of miles to cover in 14 hours. He must be feeling the effect of all that travelling.
  8. Bjerre should qualify for the Final, cannot see Vaculik and maybe Pawlicki finishing outside the top eight in the GP's,
  9. Well done Scunthorpe, you totally deserved your win, as for Sheffield, Oh dear, when are our promoters going to realise that Todd Kurtz and Rob Branford are not doing the business for the Tigers, time for a change or two, Ok Scunthorpe had a little bit of luck when David Wallinger fell in heat four and was ruled out for the rest of the meeting, meaning that Aarnio had two extra rides, he outscored the dreadful Branford, and our other reserve Layne Cuppitt on his own, but that does not mean Kurtz and Branford can have an afternoon off, they let down the Tigers badly, as I said time for a change.
  10. Well he did have Davey Watt spannering for him in the pits all night, probably riding his bikes and using his engines too, Sorry but the time is up for Sedgemen.
  11. Mark Riss was to be the key to this fixture, he was at reserve last month but now he has moved up into the team proper, could be tight but fancy the Tigers by 6 - 8, depends on how will Clegg does against his opposite number Branford ??
  12. Wow, 46 - 44 to Sheffield, Good meeting Glasgow deserved their point out of this meeting, really good value.
  13. Going to be close I think, going to take Sheffield on the night by 6, (48-42). Could be a possible Play off Final, depends on how things go, Sheffield riders could be a little bit race rusty, whilst Glasgow riders raced last weekend.
  14. Could be a close match, I'm going for a narrow Home win, Doyle will be up there in the big points for Swindon, All lot depends on if Max Fricke is riding, due in Terenzano for the Under 21's the following day, also Adam Ellis could be missing for Swindon, with the same reason.
  15. Correct shout, we all knew on Monday this one was never going to start,
  16. Another excellent show Dave, shame about Heat 11, I stand corrected, no Nicki Pedersen, and only Holder, Lindgren and Doyle rides in the UK. thanks.
  17. Todd Kurtz is riding, R/R for Bjerre, required to be riding in Denmark for his team there, Rob Shuttleworth for JPB. Still backing the weather to win, looks pretty rotten.
  18. Looking at the team line up's for Tuesday's matches throughout all the entire Swedish Teams, I have noticed that all 16 Riders who competed in Warsaw at the weekend are riding in Swedish league matches tonight. How many have we got riding in the English league !! just 4 Says a lot in my view.
  19. Arrived back from Warsaw late last night, first time to this GP, and will defo be going back next year, if anyone is thinking about going to a GP abroad in the future then this is the one to go to, fantastic city, easy to get to, and with the local train station just a few minutes walk away from the stadium easy to get back to the city too, spent less here in Warsaw as a whole than what I would have done if I had done Cardiff. Lovely friendly people, as for the meeting itself, well done Freddie, he got the bit between his teeth and went for it, I for one would love to see him as a World Champion, do not rule it out. as for Greg, he will have better GP's, but Nicki, well I personally think its time up for him, as regards Tia, he will be there or thereabouts come the final result in Melbourne, Really felt for Chris Holder, came good in the final two races, but ran out of time in the end. If there was a down side to this GP, it was all the overkill about Tomas Gollob from the stadium/ centre green announcer, he just went overboard on it, ruined a good vibe about the place. Does anyone have any idea about dates for next years event yet, cannot wait.
  20. Weather is looking good, 14 - 15C forecast, should be good meeting, I'm flying from Luton Airport Friday lunchtime, looking forward to a good weekend away.
  21. Great programme tonight Dave, not sure about the Stock cars though, looking at the Swedish match to say it was bright and sunny, there was an awful lot of people wearing big thick coats and wolly hats, look decidedly cold to be honest, Was watching the second Polish league match between Wroclaw and Gorzow, and "ouch", that crash involving KK, horrible landing, wasn't even his fault, hope he comes back fit and well, but a successful programme, needs an English co host to interview the riders, during races but yep really enjoyed that tonight. Anyone agree that Wroclaw Stadium looks very much like Belle Vue.
  22. Rider Replacement for the Rockets, Stuart Robson out injured.
  23. I'll be watching, any chance whilst you are on the airways that you can perhaps drop the odd hint as to where the tracks are in Sweden, nearest airport and a few more little hints like, for any other prospective visitor like me looking at visiting the odd one or two tracks later on this season,
