  1. Brennan and Kemp now available for this meeting with travel restrictions preventing them from getting to the World U21 qualifier.
  2. Could be JPB that's been given a reduction.
  3. Two more signings to be announced at 7pm this evening.
  4. No you do still have Somerset v Glasgow, check the fixtures. Eastbourne v Poole is the 2nd round. It exactly the same as the original draw except Newcastle and Poole swapping places.
  5. You also haven't included Brennan and Bickley in the British side, who are considerably better than Gilkes and Edwards. If they were included then I would say the British side edges it.
  6. Because he didn't ride in the Championship last season. Therefore his Premiership average from last season is used and multiplied by 1.6.
  7. It is in the press release that hasn't been put up on the Kent website yet but has been put on their supporters group on Facebook.
  8. Can't be right as Rob Ledwith has been allocated a 4.00 average, which to me makes him a crazy signing, surely Morley would have been a better option.
  9. He has said that working with Plymouth is just additional, he is helping them out with the commercial side of things and will still fulfil the same role as he did last year with the Eagles.
  10. 8.75 converted from his Prem average of 5.47.
  11. I believe it does. This is the direct quote, "There is a 2.5% reduction for UK riders / NDL Riders. So any Green Sheet Averages have to be amended to reflect those who qualify."
  12. Ian Jordan has confirmed on a Eastbourne supporters' group on Facebook that the 2.5% reduction does still apply to British riders.
  13. Could be reduced by 2.5% if they are using the same rule for British riders from last year.
  14. All of the riders included in that team recieved the 2.5% reduction last year, meaning if they still are using the same 2.5% reduction rule this year Georgie could be included over Bowtell.
  15. I would have Kennett over Lawson. For me Kennett provides more entertainment, he know the Arlington track like the back of his hand and made some great passes throughout the season. Lawson was good at home but most of his wins were from the gate and when he was behind he didn't look like passing very often. People always say Kennett is poor away but if you look at the league stats Kennett's away average is only 0.16 less than Lawson's so there isn't actually much between them.
  16. Nicholls definitely ruled out for Eastbourne, Ian Jordan stated on one of the Eagles fan groups on Facebook that we couldn't sign him for the same reason that Leicester have let him go.
  17. Unsurprisingly, Brennan returns. https://www.eastbourne-speedway.com/brennan-back-for-the-eagles/
  18. In my opinion, before he received his ban it was clear that he was riding with an injury, on the Eagles' northern tour and at the home meeting the following week, he didn't look comfortable on the bike. During and after that is when he missed meetings for the IOW (because he wasn't fully fit) and therefore got the ban. It was said that he had a reoccurring injury from a crash earlier in the season and this is why he got the ban because it wasn't a 'new' injury, so I don't think it was a crap attitude, he just needed time to recover. Georgie is still very popular at Eastbourne, over the whole season he has been the most entertaining rider at home. I, along with a lot of other Eagles fans, would be disappointed not to see him included next year. If he could convert some of his home form to away meetings next year he could be a very useful rider (especially if he starts at reserve).
  19. Eastbourne Rider of the year - Lewis Kerr Most impressive against - Scott Nicholls Most surprising against - Broc Nicol
  20. Newman and Kerr announce (as long as there are no drastic changes made at the AGM) that they have both agreed a deal with Eastbourne for next season.
  21. It doesn't say that they can't see why Edward got a ban does it? It says they think the ban is unfairly disproportionate to one of the other bans given out.

  23. I think Wood deserves a longer shot than Morley as he has had much less Championship experience out of the two of them and he has scored a lot more points at home compared to Morley. Also if Wood was replaced I don't think it would be a very popular decision with the fans as he is by far the most popular rider, so probably wouldn't be the best move for the management to make.
