  1. That’s a brilliant team on paper as for vissing he’s either going to be brilliant or absolute rubbish depends if he throws his toys out of his Pram early doors or not.
  2. If starkey is fit it’s a good signing but he’s had some bad injuries over the last couple of years.heres hoping that’s all behind him.
  3. All 3 riders are good but I think clegg and bailey might be slightly better than macdonald.
  4. I have a very strong feeling mr Roynon will be at Plymouth as it would fit in better with his bsn commentary as we are a Tuesday track and he seemed to really enjoy being back last year and he would be the strong reserve to help young Ben.
  5. Bloody hell who gives a monkeys weather he was a hairdresser or not this is a speedway forum not an advertising sight for a bloody hairdressers what ever he’s done he’s been successful and good luck to him but let’s get back to talking speedway.
  6. I honestly was not being critical I’m just curious as to what team they will have.
  7. I got to admit I’m very intrigued what team Poole are going to have when you look at the lists of what’s left for a team of Poole’s stature If i was a fan I’d be a little bit worried I think a couple of young Aussies were nailed on apart from the cooks and if there both injured from what I’m led to believe I think Poole might be scratching around a bit I also think a lot of riders who have signed for other clubs would have jumped at riding for Poole and I think there is the great thing about getting your business done early I to am wondering what plan the promotion of Poole are working on . Interesting times ahead I think and I’m sure every GENUINE Poole fan on hear must be slightly worried.
  8. I’d like Dan Thompson with his old team mates of Howarth and worrall they no our track like the back of there hand and they will help him with setups and experience.
  9. Is that definite? For me that’s not great I thought I read he might not even be fit for the start of the season.I would like to go on record to thank Poole for giving the rest of the teams a chance because unless your other signings are going to be wonderful signings on low averages which you have managed to do in the past and fair play for that, your team by Poole standards is going to be bang average.
  10. Not sure on that one hope I’m proved wrong but I think we will have to have a strong no 6 or we could be in trouble.
  11. As for Lawson after what happened with Plymouth he went down in my estimation but that’s long gone but there is no doubt he’s a fantastic rider.
  12. If I’m honest I don’t really care what he does off track I pay my money to be entertained on a Tuesday night and he does that, I’m sure he’s done things in the past which he’s not proud of but I’m pretty sure all of us have done things in the past and with hindsight we wouldn’t do again. He will have paid his dues when the new season starts as for his misdemeanours last season it certainly cost him in pay days from Plymouth and Ipswich and being hurt in the pocket is enough to hurt all of us.
  13. That’s daft it’s been proven it was not a recreational drug he was daft for exceeding dosages of painkillers and the Plymouth promotion took him to a clinic for a drug test to prove it was just that and nothing more so I think your comment is frankly out of order like someone else has said if your in that much pain who knows what we all would do in the same circumstances.
  14. I’m hearing what Andersen was on last season was mental money and I doubt anyone would pay that this season
  15. I’m a bit worried about that also nevertheless a good signing.
  16. It will be very interesting to see who our final 5 riders will be I hope the promotion let us no soon as it’s dragging on now but even though I’ve not seen the other 5 I’m gutted Alfie is leaving as I really liked him stay injury free Alfie and I hope you have a great season.
  17. Congratulations on retaining your title that’s a hell of a team.
  18. There’s a big difference when your successful other fans hate you, Glasgow haven’t won nothing so how can you hate them when your as successful as the pirates then you will be entitled to that thread.
  19. For me that’s a good team , if it’s correct with the points available.it must have been a hell of a choice between king and worrall but I still think i would have gone with king because he’s as good off the track as on it brilliant captain.
  20. Agreed lovely fella lovely family, but if he fell out of love with the sport by keep coming last for the sake of one more years experience in the national league that would be sad, what about roynon for the gladiators or have I missed something and he’s fixed up elsewhere.
