Maybe a question needs to be asked to holder about Friday's race times compared to those of the play off semi finals if the track was that bad then everyone would see much slower times not faster ones as surely nobody would risk injury if they felt the track was that unsafe, Just maybe holder and his mate was looking at a way to get back at poole and the owners knowing the DW43 money was collected and safe once the fans had entered the stadium. You would not get those times on a bad track. Play Off semi final Heat 01: Holder, Kurtz, Karlsson, Lindgren. 5-1 time 61.09 DW43 meeting Heat 01: Andersen,Watt,T.Kurtz.Grajczonek 59.78 Play Off semi final Heat 04: Newman, Howarth, Buczkowski, Woffinden. 61.84 DW43 Heat 02 Przemyslaw Pawlicki,Sayfutdinov,Batchelor,Newman 59.16 DW43 Heat 07: Doyle,Holder,T.Kurtz,Batchelor... 59.69 a very fast race time just before they said the track was UNFIT Nobody got under 60 seconds in 15 heats of the semi final play offs but they did on a track that was unfit ? I smell something

Holder and Ford as it seems have fallen out, So you need to think if holder was that unhappy about the track for so long why did he keep coming back to ride for poole and was his latest remarks a dig at ford.
-
Its clear to see he is not a nice person before and after his accident. I just don't understand why people continue to donate to someone living in a lovely home on the gold coast while british riders in wheelchairs don't get the same support from british fans as everything is about DW43. for anyone who hasn't seen the video from Friday https://en-gb.facebook.com/Darcy-Ward-Racing-352887824756078/

Easy home win -
Just watching the interview on DW racing FB and it maybe worth some of you taking a look as he is a right foul mouthed plonker . He also proudly shows off his big plasma tv and comes across as someone not in need of a benefit meeting.
-
That's my point, Its about time British speedway looked after there own badly injured riders first, DW had enough money to buy a lovely home on the gold coast and too travel to las vegas and other desinations, these benefit meetings should be for riders in real need of help who cant afford things DW can and last nights meeting should be the last one for DW in this country.

Yes I totally agree with you.

I thought they were called the Brandon bees at the beginning but maybe wrong.
-
He cannot run a team without a promoters licence which it seems he doesn't have anymore, You also say the bees are unable to race in 2017 what makes you think they will race in 2018 ?
-
Maybe because he destroyed there stadium. If sandhu hadn't destroyed Brandon then the bees maybe racing this season maybe under a different promoter if the bspa had acted earlier to remove horton.
-
Didn't a British promotor/sponsor plough a lot of money into the Australian National team last year ? An aussie rider demanded that the promotor he just signed for get him a van and deliver it to his rented house some 180 miles away, that promoter drove the van to the rider and had to catch a train home with a number of changes and you wonder why British riders get annoyed as they don't get looked after aswel as those from outside the uk. Again I am only speaking about a few British riders I know and basically they have gone out and got sponsors themselves during the winter break, however unless your a big name rider or the promoters pet then your sponsor would have to pay to come and see the rider they sponsor race as that rider would not be allowed anyone in free even if the sponsor had paid several thousand to kit the rider out for that season. Riders from abroad get flights, rented houses, vans, ect and have always been better looked after than the British rider.
-
Ask stevebrum he thinks he knows, maybe he will tell us who Brandon estate's are aswel.
-
Not everything you have said is 100% FACT
-
So you dont think he will get a big crowd or that he wasn't one of the people pulling the plug on the bees, maybe your deluded. Cradley don't have a track but they are still running a league team. which part is not a fact. Fully agree about Horton but CVS has been at the head table for decades and look at the mess of the sport. Good PR and it wont be a gamble at all. If Belle vue had no been able to compete this season would the BSPA of pulled the plug on the bees.
-
CVS will get an even bigger money spinning home meeting against the bees now on the back of the bees closure and the away fixture is of no financial concern to him anyway. He is a main part of the BSPA board who decided to stop the bees this season, its a simple fact. .
-
Was'nt CVS one of the group in charge of pulling the plug on the Coventry Bees, it appears a big pay day for him and nothing else.
-
Will the wonderful mr sandhu be coming to this meeting because he was the one who promised the bees fans he wouldn't let them down, time for him to meet the fans again. Good luck and hope the bees return next year.

I am like many fans who read the forum with interest but don't post very often due to the mindless bully element on here. I heard on another thread that R72 is banned for attacks on contributors on this thread so I was nosey and wanted a peak but I just don't see anything of the sort, does this mean phil the mod is now the leader of the forum bully gang as its clear R72 did nothing to be banned for on here. What is however sad on this forum is that people cannot agree to disagree without threats and bully tactics.. Going back into read only mode now. -
I would like to see more premier league matches

I really enjoyed watching him ride, a good team man.
