Neil Vatcher doing a great job.

Think it's probably fair to say that Chris Harris (St Austell) has achieved most after coming through the 3rd tier -
Belle Vue v Swindon 14/5/18 BT Sport
The Cheese replied to Rob B's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Very impressive from Bewley again, it's not just winning races it's the speed he gets and how far ahead he finishes. Really looking forward to seeing how he gets on in the British Final now -

Can only be positive to have Tai available for GB again. Obviously there were differences of opinion about how things should be done but hopefully that'll be left to the past now that progress is starting to be made. -
Another article on Torquay from the BBC who actually managed to interview Clarke Osborne - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43814387 Has a brief mention of both Reading and Swindon with Osborne quoted as saying " that both speedway stadium issues were down to elements beyond his control "

If Doyle has an off night it's always going to be tough for this side away from home unless all 6 have a very good meeting. Doyle scoring 8+1 from 5 rides won't happen too often and add in Lawson not beating an opponent you just need to put it down to being one of those nights and move on to tomorrow's meeting.

Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to see him ride but did at least get to see him on track when he did the final laps of the County Ground in 2005. RIP Ivan

Get Chapman wearing that whilst singing the song and the crowds will surely come

Typical negative attitude instead of thinking about the benefits it could have. You could take the best 10 or so races every week and BT could show them in a 30 minute programme before/after live meetings, you'd even have time to show the fixtures for the week ahead across the country. Easy enough to show a few repeats of that throughout the week as well.

Who Finishes Where 2018
The Cheese replied to phillipsr's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Of course beating the likes of Milik, Dudek, G Laguta, Pr Pawlicki, Fricke, Zagar and Kildemand in the qualifiers happened on those well known British tracks Lonigo, Terenzano and Togliatti. The new Chris Harris? I'm sure Cook would be happy with a GP win and several more podium finishes -

Gets a brief mention in this article on Torquay United's future - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42958113 Has it ever been confirmed that someone at Swindon has actually seen these parts of the stadium in the car park in Wales?

The GPs will definitely still be on BT and it seems very likely the Premiership will be also but not confirmed yet
-
You could have a £10 price for OAPs but with additional extras such as; Fold up chair £5 Flask £1 Sandwiches - will be inspected for quality at entrance and given a rating. National League standard £1, Championship £2, Premiership £3 Cap with badges on £5 Wulfsport coat - £50

Maybe it would be better if clubs had a basic free/very cheap racecard for every meeting and then produce a monthly magazine

This weeks Speedway Star dec 23rd
The Cheese replied to marko's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Had mine on time recently which is unusual, this week's was delivered along with 2 Christmas cards which had been sent 10 days before! Can't rely on Royal Mail at all tbh, I often have someone's post from another road through the door and know it's happened the other way around as well. Another magazine I subscribe to I once had to have resent twice and none of them ever arrived -

Repeated again today at 2.30 on BT Sport 2 if anyone missed it -
Maybe a Poole Pirates themed cafe/coffee shop could work... Timo Latte Mars Gunnestad Krzysztof Flaprjack Cheese Swist Sergey Parkin Magnum Zetterstrom Antonio Lindtback Adam Quornicki All whilst watching highlights on the Big Joe Screen!

Great to see Doyle back. Might take a few heavy defeats away but should be very strong at home which was the problem last year. Having a strong reserve in BWD/Allen all season will take the pressure off Jeppesen and allow him time to settle.
-
All 4 signed so far you would expect to increase their average so a good start but it would be a shame if there was no room for Wright.
-
Henry Atkins and Richard Andrews both confirmed for Plymouth
-
Good start with Lawson returning. Should be able to increase that average to over 7
-
There's only 8 games that will be played at that time
-
If a genuine number 1 isn't available; Hans Andersen 7.75 Robert Lambert 7.38 Steve Worrall 6.77 Charles Wright 6.69 Richard Lawson 6.43 Jake Allen 5.07 leaves 2.41 so either Simon Lambert or someone on a 2

Even if they aren't getting offered any money and BT are just prepared to cover the costs of showing meetings I don't see why anyone with sense would turn that down. Most clubs had 1 home meeting shown last year, surely the added sponsorship deals that can be made from being shown on TV is worth more than a few people who don't bother turning up because they can watch it at home? And if people are not attending tracks because a meeting from elsewhere is being shown then perhaps promoters should be asking themselves why people prefer to stay at home and watch something they could easily record instead of just blaming it for their problems. It's about time that it was made public who votes for what at these meetings, just like in other sports.
