I know Somerset aren't the first to do so but don't understand why anybody would think that sacking someone by text is acceptable. Reading Wright's version of events that he attempted to make amends it's a shame any problems couldn't have been sorted out then,. Jeppesen seemed to have made a promising start, hopefully he can get himself a Championship place.

Exeter announced last month that they were going to continue producing programmes.

World Championship Pairs
The Cheese replied to Mark's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Good to have 2 days of superb racing, maybe in future the top 6 sides should be seeded to the final with one qualifier for the 7th place. Great effort by GB, surprised by Woffinden's decision to not try and help Lambert in the final but apart from that he was sensational. Well done to Russia. -

Superb stuff from Woffinden and Lambert yesterday but only a start and no doubt conditions will be more favourable to the Poles tonight. But finish in the top 3 and anything is possible, especially with the advantage of having 2 riders who are actually capable of team-riding. -

The BBC have rights to 10 men's and 8 women's matches but wanted them finished quicker to fit into their schedule. -

Does seem odd that Hancock didn't ride last year to give their younger riders a chance but now he is riding when there's less places. And even if Wells wasn't an option for whatever reason they could have used Ruml as the 3rd rider -
New Pirates signing revealed! Kim has signed for the rest of the season but could miss the home meeting vs King's Lynn on June 13th if the US-North Korea summit goes ahead the day before. However recent sightings in the area of a man wearing a 'Make Poole Pirates Great Again' cap have led to rumours this could be held at Wimborne Road.

Can't really argue with that selection, Cook's results in the last week suggest he's finding form so they are the obvious 3 despite Bewley's potential. -
Neil Vatcher doing a great job.

Think it's probably fair to say that Chris Harris (St Austell) has achieved most after coming through the 3rd tier -
Belle Vue v Swindon 14/5/18 BT Sport
The Cheese replied to Rob B's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Very impressive from Bewley again, it's not just winning races it's the speed he gets and how far ahead he finishes. Really looking forward to seeing how he gets on in the British Final now -

Can only be positive to have Tai available for GB again. Obviously there were differences of opinion about how things should be done but hopefully that'll be left to the past now that progress is starting to be made. -
Another article on Torquay from the BBC who actually managed to interview Clarke Osborne - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43814387 Has a brief mention of both Reading and Swindon with Osborne quoted as saying " that both speedway stadium issues were down to elements beyond his control "

If Doyle has an off night it's always going to be tough for this side away from home unless all 6 have a very good meeting. Doyle scoring 8+1 from 5 rides won't happen too often and add in Lawson not beating an opponent you just need to put it down to being one of those nights and move on to tomorrow's meeting.

Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to see him ride but did at least get to see him on track when he did the final laps of the County Ground in 2005. RIP Ivan

Get Chapman wearing that whilst singing the song and the crowds will surely come

Typical negative attitude instead of thinking about the benefits it could have. You could take the best 10 or so races every week and BT could show them in a 30 minute programme before/after live meetings, you'd even have time to show the fixtures for the week ahead across the country. Easy enough to show a few repeats of that throughout the week as well.

Who Finishes Where 2018
The Cheese replied to phillipsr's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Of course beating the likes of Milik, Dudek, G Laguta, Pr Pawlicki, Fricke, Zagar and Kildemand in the qualifiers happened on those well known British tracks Lonigo, Terenzano and Togliatti. The new Chris Harris? I'm sure Cook would be happy with a GP win and several more podium finishes -

Gets a brief mention in this article on Torquay United's future - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42958113 Has it ever been confirmed that someone at Swindon has actually seen these parts of the stadium in the car park in Wales?

The GPs will definitely still be on BT and it seems very likely the Premiership will be also but not confirmed yet

Maybe it would be better if clubs had a basic free/very cheap racecard for every meeting and then produce a monthly magazine
