I think the end of season awards, proved that the Craig Cook carrot was too tempting for the management. As for the uneven bolstering towards the end of the season, ultimately Ged threw all his eggs in one basket and it ended in failure, and he will admit that and has done in interviews. But we move on and hopefully learn. -

I get the feeling, there was more to it, bit like Robert Lambert the year before last. -

Was always going to be the first signing for this season, a real crowd pleaser, a bargain average to have at home. -

Surely Schlein, must become a Championship rider next year on a 7.17 average? Panthers? Always been linked in the past couple of years -

SIGNING | Sheffield Tigers announce Lasse Bjerre as their first rider for 2017. No baby Bjerre at Panthers next year -
No GP rider restrictions in either league.
-
Is the national league still running as there is no mention of it anywhere?

'No team changes will be permitted in either league after July 31.' Well thats us (Peterborough) and Rathbone screwed

This article by Mr Woffinden suggests this rule is already coming into play. http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/other-sport/speedway/2016/10/13/tai-woffinden-success-even-sweeter-at-end-of-wolves-career/ -

My Panthers team for 2017 would be: 1. Brady Kurtz - 9.22 - after a not so good year at Poole, may want to drop back down to PL full time to get some confidence back. 2. Simon Lambert - 5.25 - fairly consistent and if needed to drop to reserve would be a powerful reserve. 3. Kenneth Hansen - 6.25 -IMO can put 1, maybe 2 points on that average 4. Lasse Bjerre - 6.65 -IMO can put 1 point on that average 5. Richie Worrall -8.33 - always impressed me round the showground, always a consistent scorer elsewhere in the PL. 6. Tom Perry - 3.76 -IMO can put 1 point on that average as shown, early part of last season before an unlucky break. 7. Danny Phillips / Danny Halsey or another national league rider - 3.00 - Phillips due to being an asset and sponsored by Ged. Total 42.46 -
Personally I think you will struggle to keep Holder, Newman or Kurtz.

Must: Hansen and L.Bjerre due to there low average I'd love: B.Kurtz, S.Worrall, R.Worrall, Cook, Jake Allen More likely: Jonas B. S.Lambert (Who I would mind), Ulrich (Unfortunately imo) One reserve I would like is: T.Perry - imo was very unfortunate last season. -

Out of that team the riders that i would have would be, Hansen, Bjerre, Perry and possibly Morris. The other 3 riders are very inconsistent imo. -

For me, now that we know we are going to have a team, a big thank you to Ged. Ged has said he wants our home form to improve. The first two riders I would get on very good aveages are- Kenneth Hansen - 6.25 Lasse Bjerre - 6.65
